Condo was clean and had everything we needed for a great vacation! Only down side was the check in process through casago required you to go all the way into town prior to arrival. The one time cleaning service was also just them (casago) dropping off paper towels and trash bags and making one of the three beds. The actual owner was very nice and responded quickly to our question and the location of the condo itself was perfect for our family!

We love the pool at las palomas, it is always well kept. I didn't realize this rental was through a different management so when we got there early to enjoy the pool we were unable to check out towels because we were only allowed to use the ones in the condo.

Awesome stay!! Beautiful clean room! Had ever thing you needed.. from making dinner to washing your clothes! Not having a key, just the passcode made it so much more convenient and easy!! We will most definitely rent through here again. We love coming to Rocky point!!!

Very nice room I believe we have stayed her before . The microwave didn’t work unfortunately but other than that it was a great stay. Right next to the elevator too! Bonus The new Casiago check in that’s a few blocks away didn’t really like it .

Safety Concerns, Maintenance Issues, & Difficulty Getting Supplies

In past years, we checked in at the resort & received full, daily housekeeping service. This year, we had to check in somewhere else. There was no housekeeping service. The paperwork said they would empty the trash and top off supplies the first 3 days. They verbally told us it was only be the 1st 2 days. Then they called & said it would be days 2, 4, & 6, but they didn’t show up until we complained about running out of supplies the 3rd night. Then they brought us some supplies, but not the ones we asked for.The safe we used last year is now for the owner’s use only. They no longer provide keys. Instead there’s a 6-digit code, which can be difficult for children. The door does not automatically lock until long after it’s closed. There’s no deadbolt or chain. The last day we noticed the smoke detector had been disabled & left on a very high shelf in the cupboards. The shower in the main bathroom sprayed water everywhere. The ice & water dispenser on the fridge was broken. It wouldn’t stop dispensing water or ice unless we stood there & held the lever forward. They shut the water off but didn’t fix it.The bar for the hand towel in the master bathroom is missing. The WiFi info in the welcome e-mail was completely wrong.It was extremely frustrating. We did not feel safe or valued as customers. Our advice: Find a unit that uses the resort as the property manager.

The shower in the guest bedroom was leaking. The ice maker stayed on after you got done using it. The hand towel holder was completely missing from the primary bathroom. We rented a unit with a tub for my toddler however, the tub would not hold water.It was a nightmare having Casago as the property manager. We stayed there for 4 days with no new towels. That’s absurd. I have stayed at las Paloma’s many times but never managed by casago. I won’t use casago again. We got locked out of the room. Don’t know how because the door did not lock on the inside. My 2 year old could open the door with ease. That was concerning. We ran out of paper towels and had to wait a whole day for housekeeping to come by and give us 1 roll. The condo was not clean like I have seen in the past. It seems like the upkeep is not happening. Also, checking in at the office in the middle of town is not fun. I won’t use casago again. The resort itself is great.

THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY CASAGO WAS DOWNTOWN NOT VERY CONVENIENT, WE COULD NOT CHARGE FOOD OR BEVERAGES TO OUR ROOMWE COULD NOT GET FRESH TOWELS FROM THE POOL DAILY THERE WERE 5 BEACH TOWELS IN OUR CONDO.

Unexpected issues with new property management….

We come to Rocky Point 1-2 times a year and stay at Las Palomas. We have stayed in many rentals but never had to deal with Casago and never wanted to book through Casago. There were multiple unexpected inconveniences dealing with Casago instead of being able to contact someone at the resort directly.We had to check in at the Casago office in town which wasn’t a big deal. But when we were checking in we were told that we wouldn’t be able to charge our room for anything or utilize room service since they are managing the unit, not the resort. If we needed anything we had to call Casago. Not being able to charge the room for food/drinks or use room service was a big inconvenience for us since we all go our separate ways within the resort and only have one credit card. The safe was broke and unable to be fixed. Only one outlet in the main bedroom worked and we couldn’t get the bedroom sliding door to open. We didn’t have any hand soap in the bathrooms or any little shampoo/soap for the showers. There was a pullout couch but no extra blankets or pillows. Then we didn’t know we needed a key card to go to the gym. Of course none of these things happened at the same time so we had to call Casago each time we had an issue. I purposely never book units that use a third party property manager. When I booked the unit there was no property manager. I was notified only a few weeks before our trip that we needed to deal with Casago to check in. It was an unexpected pain.

Beautiful beach condo

First time checking in off property, the process was very quick and easy and they had awesome communication the whole time! We had one small hiccup where the condo above us was leaking water pretty significantly on to our patio, someone was to us in less than 10 mins!! The house itself was extremely clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this condo!

Clean and how it was described

The resort we stayed at was AMAZING! All the staff on the property were INCREDIBLE. It was SOOO clean and all the staff worked so hard and with excellence.I was bummed to find after booking my trip that the owners switched property management companies. So, we no longer were checking in/ out at the front desk of the resort. We had to drive to a separate location once we arrived in town to get our door code and wristbands and check in. We also learned there that we could not use any of the room services, and we were not allowed to use the pool towels at the resort. Not a make-it-or break-it, but it would have been nice to know prior to our arrival.It was also communicated to me that during our 4-day stay, we would have housekeeping 3 of those days where someone would come and bring more toilet paper, trash bags, or soap if we needed it. Well, during our 4-day stay, we never had anyone or any type of service. I texted and called and never got a reply or call back. It was frustrating on the last night as our trash was full but we had no other trash bag to put in the trash can.... I also was not sent ANY check-out rules or things that needed to be done. That too was also frustrating as I don't want to find after the fact that we are being charged for extra things because it was not communicated to us. Overall, Las Palomas is an INCREDIBLE resort. SO clean and VERY family/kid friendly. We felt very safe the entire time. I wish the property management was better.

Great place!

Our family of five stayed here and really enjoyed ourselves. Even though it was the offseason many of the pools are heated which the kids loved. The unit itself is very big and very relaxing with a great balcony. We would definitely recommend.
