Supertolles Ferienhaus auf Kreta

Ein sehr großes, sauberes und wunderschönes Ferienhaus! Die Aufteilung und Ausstattung ist perfekt für einen Familienurlaub oder eine Reise mit Freunden! Die Restaurants in der Nachbarschaft sind auch absolut zu empfehlen und direkt neben dem Haus befindet sich ein kleiner Shop in welchem man alles kaufen kann was man für den Alltag benötigt. Auch die Kommunikation mit der Agentur und dem Vermiter war sehr unkompliziert und wir wurden bei allem Fragen und Problemen unterstützt! Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne! 🌟 Auch diKommunkat bekommen.

Amazing place to celebrate and spend time with friends

The villa was perfect ,it had everything we needed and more ! Spacious , immaculate and loads of places to sit and relax working the outside space to enjoy the weather & surroundings ! We had some lovely meals in the beautiful village and many BBQs in the spacious outside area ! The communication before and during our stay was excellent ! Would 100% recommend this villa to people !

Wundervolle Villa mit mega Ausstattung und toller Lage

Wir haben schon viele Villen/Fincas gemietet, aber diese hier übertraf alles bisher gesehenes. Eine absolute vollausstattung (Geschirrspülter, viele elektrische Kleingeräte (Sandwichmaker, Toaster, Kaffeemaschine etc.), Grill inkl.. Die Kommunikation in der gesamten Zeit ist top und bei Problemen wurde sofort gehandelt. Ein Einkaufsladen mit quasi allem was man für den Alltag braucht ist 15m Fußweg entfernt/grenzt quasi direkt am Grundstück an. Das nächstgelegene Restaurant ist 170m entfernt und das Essen dort ist fantastisch und preiswert. Die Gastfreundlichkeit ist beeindruckend (vom Vermieter:in, aber auch von den Menschen in dem kleinen Örtchen Margarites). Wir kommen wieder! Toll!

Relaxing stay in a beautiful villa

Villa was impeccably clean had everything we needed. The pool was amazing and BBQ came in useful. The vilkage was friendly and we visted a different taverna every night. All in all this was a superb villa in a great location

Just got home after 10day stay at Manolis villa in Margarites . From our transfer pick up to the villa everything was excellent . The villa is in a perfect location in Margarites . All amenities are at hand . Manolis meet us as we arrived and was there all week in his pottery shop next door for help & guidance on where to visit . The villa it self fantastic , spotlessly cleaning and well equipped , views to die for .We were a family of 6 adults & 2 young children , so the pool was essential . Especially with the fabulous weather we had . Our hire cars deliver to the villa on our second day of the holiday and collected from the villa . Less hassle at the airport . All the links provided by Think Villa . Pottery shops of Margarites are a must . Thank you so much for making our holiday so memorable .

Absolutely lovely villa, inside and out, a week wasn’t long enough. The village is also lovely with tavernas serving local cuisine. Simple food but all very good and very reasonable. Think villas and Mandolis who welcomed us were amazing. Everything was made very easy and we would love to return.

Eine gelungene Reise mit toller Finca

Wir waren zu dritt dort. Der Empfang war herzlich und es wurden sogar ein Obstkorb, Kekse, Wein, Bier und Olivenöl als Willkommensgeschenk hingestellt. Die Finca war sehr sauber und alles war gepflegt. Es gab nichts was wir vermissten. Auch Margarites selbst ist ein tolles Töpferdorf mit sehr freundlichen und herzlichen Menschen. Wir hatten eine tolle Woche und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Vielen Dank für diese schöne Woche!

Beautiful villa

We all loved our stay at the amazing villa in Margarites. The villa is clean, comfortable and equipped with everything that you could need for your stay. The pool area is fabulous with an amazing BBQ and plenty of seating and shade. Manolis is the perfect host and owns the shop next door should you need anything. We loved the village of Margarites… small, excellent tavernas and the people of the village are genuinely so pleased to have you to stay with Riki being offered at every opportunity! We hired a car and explored the island but were pleased to come back to the tranquil traditional village, even the younger ones in our party. If you book the beautiful villa in such a wonderful setting you definitely won’t be disappointed. We will hope to return next year.

Wonderful relaxing holiday

We stayed for 10 days and couldn't fault this fantastic villa . Everything we needed was available in the villa and the rooms were amazing , with excellent amenities. It was made even better by having the supermarket next door and tavernas just a short walk away. We relaxed and enjoyed the pool , did a couple of bbqs and played volleyball every day ! .We also made a trip to Bali beach - just 30 mins in a taxi . Wonderful views of the gorge and beautiful sunsets . A fantastic holiday and would thoroughly recommend

Perfekt für den Urlaub mit Freunden oder Familie

Alles ist genau so wie beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen. Unser Urlaub war perfekt. Sowohl Haus, Zimmer und Pool waren perfekt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter mehr als Freundlich und zuvorkommend!! Die Tavernen im Ort waren super lecker und mega freundlich. Note 1 ist absolut berechtigt.

Einfach Traumhaft

14 super schöne Tage verlebt, es ist ein super schönes romantisches Dorf und liebenswerte Menschen .. wir haben uns wie Zuhause gefühlt die Unterkunft ist wunderschön gewesen und für alle gab es ein Plätzchen zum entspannen… Pool super …Grillplatz klasse wir haben uns in der Nachbarschaft ein frisches Lamm besorgt und gespeist wie die Griechischen. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeit direkt daneben ist Klasse und auch dort gab es eine gastfreundliche Atmosphäre mit vielen lachenden Gesichtern. Wir kommen definitiv wieder … Vielen Dank für diese wundervollen Tage und ein Jamas auf euch !!!!

Perfect!

This was our first family holiday abroad and it did not disappoint. The villa is gorgeous and is equipped with everything you could need. The beds were comfy and the villa was lovely and clean. A special mention and thanks go to Manolis the owner of the property for who nothing was too much trouble - he went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. We can’t recommend this villa highly enough.

Great property with a fantastic host.

We tried very hard to think how this property could be better and failed to come up with anything. Outside lovely views over the swimming pool, sun pretty much all day but apart from umbrellas, there is the BBQ slatted shade and full shade for those who want it. Similar views from the kitchen and outside 1st floor dining area; there is also a smaller terrace to sit and watch the sunsets. Kitchen well equipped, Nespresso machine but also filter coffee machine, kettle. toaster, dishwasher. There was salt, pepper, tea, some coffee pods, olive oil, honey, water which really is helpful as was Maonolis' welcome bottle of wine too. Lots of cutlery & crockery even sets in the bedrooms at least 2 of which have mini fridges for cold water or anything else!! Beds comfortable, linen and towels changed each week. Showers good, hot water plentiful. Manolis was a great host easy to get in touch with for anything and very helpful all-round. I could go on and on but you will have to stay in a lot of properties to find a better one with a better host than Manolis.

Wonderful Villa

We had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous villa. It is located in the village of Margarites which is renowned for it's pottery. There are a few taverna's/restaurants within walking distance, all serving good local food. If you want to travel further afield a car is recommended. The villa was exactly as described. The pool was fantastic and the view amazing. There is a supermarket next door and another one at the bottom of the hill where you can get everything you need. There is also a bakery and butchers a short walk away. Manolis, the owner, contacted us on our arrival in Greece and was there to greet us at the villa. His business is just next door and he is on hand if needed. We would highly recommend this villa for a quiet, relaxing stay

Empfehlenswert!!!

Wir sind mit 9 Erwachsenen und einem Kleinkind (9 Monate alt) dort gewesen. Die Villa ist in einem sehr schön gelegenem Ort in mitten von Olivenfeldern und Wäldern und mit einigen schönen Töpfereien, wo man tolle Sachen sehen und erwerben kann. Direkt nebenan gibt es einen Supermarkt mit einer vielfältigen Auswahl, in dem man alles bekommt, was man so während dem Aufenthalt braucht und sollte mal was fehlen gibt es im mächsten Ort, ca. 10 min. Autofahrt entfernt, einen größeren Supermarkt der eine etwas größere Auswahl hat. Wir haben die Villa, wie auf den Bildern abegebildet angetroffen. Die Villa ist super ausgestattet. In der Küche gibt es viele Geräte, so dass es nichts gibt, das man nicht machen könnte. Von der Terrasse aus kann man sogar das Meer in der Ferne sehen. Der Service war echt super. Die Villa war sehr sauber und samstags kommen Putzfrauen, die die Villa saugen, die Hand-, Dusch- und Badetücher und die Bettwäsche wechseln. Täglich wird der Poll gesäubert. In dem Ort gibt es schöne Souvenirgeschäfte und gute Tavernen, die gut zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Gerade in der Zeit, als wir da waren gab es leider ein Problem mit der Wasserversorgung in dem gesamten Ort, wo die Vermieter nichts für konnten, es gab für einige Tage nur für wenige Stunden fließendes Wasser, aber die Vermieter haben sich sehr fürsorglich um uns gekümmert und uns alles nötige zur Verfügung gestellt, was wir benötigten und haben uns immer wieder auf dem Laufenden gehalten, wie der aktuelle Stand ist und wann das Problem behoben ist. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt, egal in welcher Situation. Es war eine wunderschöne Zeit die wir dort erleben durften, wir können die Villa nur weiter empfehlen und werden unbedingt wieder kommen.

Awesome property and location

If you want to rent a villa and immerse yourself in the day to day of the local population in a small village that has bakery groceries and 4 tavernas within 3-7 minute walk this is the place. Manolis is the owner and terrific host. He owns the pottery adjacent to the house. There is a beach a 20 minute drive. Our son and his 2 children were in the pool everyday. 4 bedrooms 3 of which have their own ensuite and lots of areas to sit outside. This property made our 12 day stay truly exceptional. Thanks to Valia and her team for quick turnaround in communication and thanks to the owner Manolis. The property is only 2 years old.

A perfect holiday

From beginning to end this villa was everything we needed for our holiday. The villa itself was perfectly situated in beautiful rolling hills on the edge of a fantastic village that had all your basic needs including a number of tavernas, mini supermarkets and beautiful ceramic gift shops. The villa itself was very well looked after and had a wonderful finish to it, the pool was fantastic and had a picturesque backdrop and the various verandas gave you plenty of space to read, watch films and shelter from the sun (if required!) Manolis the owner of the villa deserves a special mention for his help navigating where we could get swabbed and local Covid protocol - Nothing was to much for him and he was extremely kind with his departing gift and knowledge of the area. It really is no exaggeration that our weeks stay at the villa was perfect and a fantastic setting to recharge and get some much needed rest after a hectic year. We will certainly be looking to return and can have no hesitation in recommending this vila to anyone considering it.

Beautiful villa in a cute mountain village

Beautiful villa in a cute mountain village with a stunning view and quite neighborhood. Everything was perfect from the rental of the villa, key pick-up and stay. The host was super friendly and helpful. The villa with pool was to our complete satisfaction.

August 2020 Margarites

From the initial booking to the final day everything we could possibly have wanted was catered for. We had help with car hire and taxis and recommendations for tavernas and places to visit. During Covid year it was a very uncertain and potentially worrying time to be travelling abroad, but we need not have been concerned. The villa was spotless and the owner, Manolis, was extremely welcoming and ensured we were comfortable. The location was perfect and the view stunning. The local tavernas and villagers reminded us of Greece of old, absolutely perfect, traditional place, such a warm welcome from everyone. Margarites and Ilys Home Villa were a breath of fresh air for my family and myself in what has been a trying time for everyone.

Great holiday home

Ilys Home is one of those holiday homes that you wish you did not have to leave. It is clean, comfortable and spacious, and has everything you need, including a very friendly and helpful host. There are nice terraces and balconies at different sides of the house, so you can always either enjoy the shade or the sunshine. And, of course, the swimming pool is a great hit in the summer heat. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay, here, and highly recommend this lovely holiday home.
