In a lovely part of the world. A great place to stay. The menu looked good. The breakfast was brilliant. The room was nice and clean with good amenities. Would certainly stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable. When the new manager gets the showers updated and the rooms painted it will become excellent. The food was exellent and the staff were very attentive.

Staff were geeat, super welcoming. Only problem was sleep. Room 10 that i was in,lovely. Only thing if someone is in room 8 above, old building with noisy floor. It is going to be addressed. Definitely revisit. Breakfast great.

One night stopover

Lovely location..staff friendly..room nice but bed was bit hard for me didnt eat there but menu looked nice .beer garden had amazing view

Hotel stay or camping

Lovely staff the new manager is very enthusiastic and I am sure he and the new owner will make lots of changes going forward. It’s a lovely old building just a bit tired but clean and lots of parking and in a good spot to access lots of places. Very good value for money and good meals available in the evenings

Very nice little room with everything we needed for one night's stay. The Manager was really helpful, including giving us a lift to the wedding evening do which was really appreciated. We were also offered a free breakfast which was a great touch. Its a lovely country pub with rooms. Woukd definitely return.

Tired and grubby rooms, nice food in the restaurant the only redeeming feature. Rooms need a complete overhaul and though clean

Public areas were great and full of character. Staff were friendly and the bar stocked a good selection of beers. The accommodation however is tired and in need of refurbishment.

Lovely Pub

This was a lovely pub with friendly staff and great food and i would recommend eating here. I would stay somewhere else though, the room was basic, the heating did eventually come on, when i checked in i was told that they don't offer breakfast in the week which isn't very helpful when you have already booked.

Stayed here for 3 nights do a conference locally and it was perfect. Friday enjoyed a beautiful meal in the restaurant. Staff went above and beyond. Very approachable if I had any questions. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Great place to stay

Great place to stay in a quiet location but near to Peterborough. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was ensuite with a shower. We had an evening meal which was fantastic, very good sized portions. Would highly reccomend and will definately stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Wishing Well. Sam and her team were wonderful hosts, accommodating our requests and additional requirements with a smile. Dining options in the pub were very good, and we enjoyed getting our whole family together on one evening. Thanks for accommodating us, we look forward to returning again some time in the future

A lovely welcome and everyone during our stay were lovely. We stayed in the outside annexe so can’t comment on more internal rooms. These rooms were clean and well equipped just are ready for a refurb which judging from the rest of the property will be done I am sure. Still very worth a visit the restaurant was amazing

The hotel, grounds etc were really lovely. The room was very basic, the bed was not very comfortable at all it could do with replacing you could feel the springs through the matress. The bathroom shower doors did not close properly .
