Relaxing and enjoyable holiday

We had a very relaxing holiday in this gite. Olivia and Alain are friendly and helpful and we spent a very pleasant evening putting the world to rights over aperitifs. It is in a peaceful area but close to all amenities, including a very well stocked shop and a boulangerie in Bouniagues, and there is plenty to see and do in the area. The gite itself was very comfortable and clean and the pool was lovely with stunning views. We really enjoyed our holiday.

A pre wedding stay

We stayed at Olivia’s cottage for 5 nights before our wedding in France. We spent the time relaxing by the beautiful pool and it was the perfect place to unwind. Wonderful relaxed stay

Very friendly host! Lovely surroundings, we loved our laid back week relaxing in and about the property, and in the neighborhood. With a car all amenities close by. Fantastic boulangerie in the village - best bread ever!

A beautifully designed 1 bedroom gite which was perfect for 2 people. Beautifully situated with wonderful views & pool. Excellent shop & bakery in the nearby village The outdoor space is shared with the owners & the 2nd gite.. The Wi Fi connection was not always reliable. The owners were very friendly & welcoming and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Location with perfect hosts

We loved our stay here. Olivia and Alain We’re so kind and accommodating we could have not wished for more. The property was very clean well presented with all you could need. The location itself was absolutely stunning. We were looking for somewhere that was peaceful and tranquil but within a short drive from Bergerac. This property gave us all we were looking for. Very welcoming and beautiful location

We were received very hospitably and immediately felt very welcome. The apartment is beautiful and we had enough space for the four of us, the common area was nice, especially for our children. The rural and quiet location between the vineyards is wonderfully peaceful. The garden is spacious and the view is very nice. The pool is great, we had a wonderful holiday here! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Très bon accueil d Olivia et Alain qui sont de très bons conseils pour organiser les visites ou choisir un restaurant. On se serait cru en famille. Propriété alliant le calme et le charme entre l ancien et le moderne. Rare annonce où la réalité surpasse les photos. La piscine chauffée au top avec une vue panoramique sur les champs et la forêt. Grand espace commun avec table de ping pong et coin bibliothèque. Nous donne envie de revenir

Très beau gîte plein de charme et au calme

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Olivia et Alain. Leur accueil fut très chaleureux et nous avons partagé de très bons moments avec eux ! Le gîte, très agréable et fonctionnel a été rénové avec beaucoup de goût. La piscine est aussi un atout avec une vue imprenable sur les environs. C’est un endroit avec beaucoup de charme, au calme mais qui permet de rayonner très facilement dans la région, quelles que soient vos envies. Je le recommande sans hésiter et y retournerai avec grand plaisir ! Encore merci Olivia et Alain d’avoir partagé tant de choses avec nous. Nous gardons un excellent souvenir de notre semaine à vos côtés !

Fantastic and beautiful retreat with excellent facilities and wonderful host!

We are a family of four and had the pleasure of spending 7 nights in Olivia and Alain’s property. The space was ideal and very well finished with lovely furnishings. The location is idyllic and the setting with the Dovecot and outdoor pool make this truly a great place to relax, swim, sunbathe and enjoy the Perigourd region. Olivia was a fantastic host and along with aperitifs, foie gras and local wine we could not have asked for more. We would come back to stay without hesitation! Thank you!

Beautiful gite for a restful holiday

We spent two very enjoyable weeks in this tastefully designed gite. There was no one else in the other house, so we had the luxury of having the place to ourselves. The owners, who live on-site, couldn't have been more hospitable. We enjoyed chatting with them very much and they were always available when needed, but never intrusive. There are plenty of places to visit in the area - castles, caves, attractive villages and of course chateaux for wine-tasting. Our house was listed as being for four, but we felt that four adults would have found it rather cramped. It was absolutely ideal for two, with a fantastic rain shower and separate toilet and a well-designed kitchen. The swimming pool was a lovely temperature and the water felt very soft. It's not very deep, so not suitable for diving, but that suited us very well. All in all, we would definitely recommend this property!

Le bonheur est dans le pré !

A notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis par Olivia et Alain, un couple adorable et très accueillant. Nous avons séjourné dans un gîte très agréable et joliment décoré avec tout ce dont on a besoin pour passer d’excellentes vacances ! La propriété est tout simplement magnifique avec beaucoup de charme : la vie y est paisible avec une vue sur les champs et un joli pigeonnier. Sans oublier la belle piscine indispensable pendant la canicule ! Nous avons passé des vacances idylliques !!!

A beautiful stay in Southern France

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bouniagues, close to Bergerac in Southern France and by the end we were very sad to leave. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel completely at home. The owners were very welcoming and hospitable towards us. The accommodation was very well equipped, a real home from home. The grounds of the barn conversion were a real delight to behold, maintained to the highest standard. It truly is a hidden gem surrounded by beautiful countryside amongst the vineyards. I cannot recommend this place nor the owners highly enough. The weather in April was just right not to hot nor cold. We will definitely be returning to this treasured place again.

A beautiful spot in the Dordogne. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Olivia & Alain were very hospitable and had plenty of information for places to go & visit.
