Weekend family trip
Really lovely building and rooms, in a great location. We parked right outside and cost us very little. Room lovely and breakfast super - really friendly and welcoming as well. Do not miss the aquarium!

Breakfast in Boulogne
Great stay, large room comfortable bed, excellent breakfast. Situated in the old town of Boulogne, close to good restaurants, thoroughly enjoyed stay. Only downside no elevator and a few stairs.

Great place, great location and will return
Ideally situated from the best restaurants in the area, few minutes to the castle. The hotel has great character and Adrian was very welcoming and made us feel very welcome.

Highly recommend
Lovely place to stay on our way back to Euro Tunnel. Secure parking, short walk to centre, lovely room with Jacuzzi bath. Would definitely stay here again.

My short stay in boulogne
The hotel was perfectly located near bars and restaurants aswell as a short walk to the beach and the brilliant aquarium. The walled old city is beautiful and has lots of amazing restaurants so you are never short of options. Le Marvaux was a particular highlight. The owners of the hotel were nothing but lovely and did everything to make our stay wonderful. The hotel was rustic and really lovely. They even have afro chickens in the back garden. All in all it was a lovely stay in every way would happily go back again right now.

Beautiful French home, high ceilings and extremely comfortable, the breakfast was clearly all fresh ingredients and was delightful. A fabulous location in the centre of everything and within walking distance of all the attractions. Hosts were lovely and hospitable and spoke to us in English which was really lovely (but much to our shane that we didn't speak very much French!) It was an extremely quiet place with lots of lovely restaurants around. We would heartily recommend staying here and will go back ourselves some time in the future.

Check in/check out process and time was a bit confusing. Owner does not speak English. Property is beautiful! Extra items like the fancy bathtub, nice bedding, robes, and crocs, were very nice! Love the big beautiful windows! Overall a great place to stay!

Lovely Hotel and stay. Owners are so friendly and go out of their way to help. Definitely would visit again and recommend to others. Outside of hotel doesn't look much but inside is lovely, relaxing and has a boutique feel. Would bring own pillow as cushions on bed are not the same as UK pillows.

Motorbike trip
This is a lovely family run hotel, in the classic French provincial style. High ceiling, big spacious room and large comfortable bed. It's charming, and a perfect stopover before the channel tunnel. Boulogne itself is a great place, so much better than Calais, and this hotel is well located to enjoy the town. When I was there, France won their world cup match so the atmosphere in town was fantastic. The view from my bedroom of the garden and beyond was beautiful. Breakfast made to order and it was good.

Great city views and base for Opal Coast
The host was very courteous and helpful and spoke English well. The rooms were spacious, though the stairways were a bit of a hassle with young children and luggage. On-street parking was easy to find within 1-2 blocks of the inn, some of which was free. Easy walking to historic center of town and to several eateries.

Fantastic place to stay
We spent a night in this beatifull place and it was fab! The hosts are great, very friendly and helpful. Room very comfy and sparkly clean and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath😍. Couldn't recommend more! There is also an outdoor Jacuzzi in the garden available to guest. Great location right in the centre of town, great value for your money.

Only stayed overnight but the room we had was absolutely stunning. Large comfortable bedroom with modern stylish ensuite with stunning overhead shower. Accommodation was only couple of minutes walk to town and good choice of bars and restaurants Lovely place to stay and good luck to the owners in their new venture

A hidden gem!
Wonderful. Don't usually write reviews, but we were so pleasantly surprised with how lovely this place was. We had a really spacious 3-bedroom suite. Stunning period features and proportions, clean and fully functional. Everything you would expect in the rooms - e.g. towels, TV, kettle etc - all beautifully presented. The owner Emilie and family were extremely welcoming and spoke excellent English. Appearing so modest from the street front door, yet full of surprises at the back: a lovely terrace with hot tub, and a charming "secret" garden with trampoline, swings, climbing frame, and a chicken coup. Our kids loved it. Location was perfect - a few minutes stroll to the walled old town in one direction and the modern town centre and harbour in the other. We had a lovely break in Boulongne.

Tout dabord, il sagit d un bed and breakfast, ce que je n avais pas forcément en tete au moment de la réservation. Dans les points positifs, le personnel est tres serviable et souriant. Dans les points negatifs, la qualité générale des fournitures et plus largement de l hébergement. Typiquement le linge de lit (et notamment la housse qui ne tient pas au niveau des coins!) Sont de qualites vraiment médiocre. La porte vous séparant des parties communes a facilement 3 a 4 cm de jour en bas ce qui ne propose pas une isolation phonique satisfaisante. Par ailleurs, lors de ma deuxième nuit, vers 23h, des gens ont essayé plusieurs fois d ouvrir la porte de la chalbre. Ceux-ci etait perdu et ne parvenait pas a trouver leur porte, les indications qui leur avait été donné etant visiblement mauvaise. Bref, pas une experience catastrophique mais ça ne vaut pas le prix sur une ville de taille moyenne comme Boulogne sur mer...

Deze B&B heeft een grondige opknapbeurt nodig. De kamer heeft zijn beste tijd gehad en ook qua properheid en hygiëne is er nog veel werk aan de winkel . Het pand is enorm gehorig. Je hoort je buren praten , stappen, … Het ontbijt was sober. Prijs/kwaliteit niet oké, te duur voor wat het is . Wel ideale ligging , op wandelafstand van de mooiste bezienswaardigheden.

I am sorry you had this feeling during your stay; Our B&B is located in an old building with a lot of charm.Lots of renovation have been made in the building making it a nice place to stay.
