"Fantastic location near Bamburgh Castle. Lovely hosts. Excellent breakfast, especially the sausages and black pudding. New shower in our room which was lovely. Comfy bed."

"Parking good. Staff excellent team both at hotel and wedding venue at Doxford Barnes.
Hot tub not open. Too cold
Excellent place to stay. Breakfast excellent. Evening meal we had excellent. Service good.
Only down side. Checkout 10am. Most hotels check out 11. Felt rushed this morning "

"The the staff were amazing. We couldn’t fault anything. On arrival we checked in at reception to be greeted with our room information and all information relevant to the hotel such as parking and food. We were shown to our room which was lovely very comfortable bed and the shower was amazing.
We popped over for dinner and had our son and grandson join us. Our grandson has a peanut allergy. They took this on board and catered for all of us. Dinner was a delight.
We stayed here last year when...

"All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. Despite the room not having been planned for use, everything was clean and fully stocked which was impressive. Bed extremely comfy, didn't want to leave! Breakfast being included was great,...
