"This is an amazing property. We felt privileged to enjoy our time in this very special corner of the spectacular Escalante area. The builders/owners deployed artistic and naturalistic flair to create a fantastic retreat in the middle of a cottonwood grove and red rock canyon. The extra touches, books and art were a pleasure. We would love to spend a month there if we could. Highly recommend."

"Our group of 12 rented both houses at this location. Having the two houses is great because it gives you more flexibility with group size. The houses are well equipped and are exactly as represented on the web site. This location provides great access to Escalante Canyons, Capitol Reef, and Bryce Canyon. This is the second time our group has used these houses because of the good location, beautiful location, and quality of the facilities."

"This location and this property were a terrific fit for me (Mr. Turning 72), my wife (we're from Chicago suburbs), my daughter and her husband (traveled from KC, MO) and my son, drove from northern WY. We really anticipated that we'd use the property more. But with traveling and hiking every day, it didn't allow as much time to hang at the house. "Room and bed were very comfortable. Great room was nice extension for small room. Reservation was a bit confusing working around a workshop. When I arrived reception said they were closed. Showed them my Expedia res and they moved me to another location. Was just glad to have room somewhere that first night. After driving all day I was a bit disappointed to have to find food and drive some more. After a break of several days, came back for 3 nights at the lodge and that was very nice."
