Clean, well furnished, with everything you need. The owners go above and beyond. Fabulous view of the ocean from the back porch; quick walk to the lighthouse and easy walk to the local store for a paper or a bite.

Family wedding

Our daughter got married in situate at the Barker House and having this rental in Scituate on the ocean was wonderful. Perfect setting for a perfect wedding.

Great Stay!

Bob was fantastic to deal with…prompt and informative with every question. The house was very well stocked to prepare meals and live. Scituate is a fun area.

Great stay

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bob and Barbara's house. The location was excellent, within walking distance to town (about 20 minute walk). Great views, nice and quiet at night. Hottub was a hit for the kids.

All the comforts of home

This property and its hosts are both extraordinary. The home has anything you might need and the location can’t be beat. The hosts are so welcoming and responsive and make you feel they are so happy to have you visit.

This was a beautiful property right on the water. Hosts were very accommodating and easy to reach if we needed anything. Perfect for a beach get away. Will be booking in the future.

Perfectly situated Scituate rental

Our family spend a lovely week in Scituate waking up to the ocean every day. The house was beautiful and well equipped for renters. The owners were super welcoming and very accommodating.

Fantastic Oceanfront Home

Great location near Sand Hills beach and lighthouse. Close to main drag with cute shops & restaurants. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the morning and the back deck watching the seals. Bob was a great host and communicated with us throughout the stay.

Great Beach House

This beach house was perfect for our family! Scituate is a cute little town and about an hour train ride into Boston. The house was clean and well stocked. The kids loved being on the ocean, climbing the rocks/exploring, and the hot tub (and of course the treats in the welcome basket :) Bob was great at communicating. Thanks for a great stay!

Fabulous location and view

The home has a wrap around covered porch so you can get breezes from ocean or harborside! It is located within walking distance of Scituate Harbor and all of the shops and restaurants. Lovely hammock to lay in and watch the boats and birds and seals! Perfect location!

Wonderful stay

wonderful ocean getaway

Beautiful location right on the ocean. The house is updated and in pristine condition. It has room air conditioners and fans; kitchen and baths well supplied. The owners are very helpful--needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at Bob & Barb’s ocean home. The house was just as described. It was clean and very well equipped. Bob was lightning fast to respond to questions or concerns. We loved our stay at Cedar Point.

Great stay

This was a perfect location for our return to Scituate to visit friends & family. Right on the water with great unobstructed views & convenient/quick access to the harbor. The house was clean, comfortable & exactly as advertised. Bob & Barb were very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful every step of the way. Highly recommend!

Colorado Visitors

Bob & Barbara were great hosts. Wind & Rain came through Situate from Hurrican Lee and Bob stayed in continued contact with us to make sure we were ok and not in need of anything. This home is a great location for a nice 20/30 minute walk into town for a little shopping or eating. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful home and great location

We had such a good time at this property, None of us girls wanted to leave. And there was plenty of room to spread out. Bob was very Nice and a helpful host. There Were gifts to take home and truffles, coffee, Cookies and candy there to greet us. The house was well supplied and thought Out, overall a very nice and fun four night stay.

Best VRBO ever

Bob and Barb could not have been more accommodating. The house was spotless, the kitchen very well set up for cooking, and the view magnificent. Easy stroll to the local shop for a paper. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise and all the toys for the grandchildren very thoughtful. Really a pleasant stay and would definitely come back.

Wonderful experience!

My family and I had an amazing time in Scituate. The whole experience was effortless. Bob & Barb have a lovely home and have thought of everything a guest would need during their stay. Communication with Bob was easy and began right away. The view is incredible, the neighborhood is perfect for a stroll and there are many beaches to choose from in the area. I definitely recommend staying with Bob & Barb!
