Spring break get away
Florida is a nightmare during spring break and we knew Salem / Boston has a different week for spring break so we decided to vacation there. It was perfect. The house was warm and cozy with everything we needed (except a tea kettle, so we bought one and left it there). There was enough space for the kids to have their space and rest after a full day of sight seeing. Two good coffee shops within walking distance was the cherry on top. I wasnt a fan of the downstairs bathroom as it had little shelf space and nowhere to set shampoo and soap, but the water was hot and the water pressure was excellent. This was a great place for a family get away

Perfect rental for 3 couples
The property was perfect! The layout and beds were perfect for our group of 6 (3) couples. Very convenient for walking to all attractions in Salem. The unit was very clean and beds were comfy. Off street parking for 2 regular size vehicles, the view is awesome close to the water. Jennifer responded promptly to all communication. Will definitely book this again when we are in the area!

Fantastic property in Great Location
Location, location, location! Central to everything- the wharf and downtown. Nice quiet street, beautiful view of the water. Easy parking. It was really nice having the 2 upstairs bedrooms and the downstairs suite - our college kid could study downstairs in quiet while we did our thing upstairs. Very nice stay.

The property was perfect for our group of 5. Great location, plenty of space. Off street parking was a big plus!!! Easy check in process. Our only complaint was the WiFi was spotty at times and no tissues. We had a great Halloween in Salem at this property.

Regulars!
This was the third or fourth time we stayed at this property. As usual it was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfortable! There are plenty of linens and towels for all of us. Every morning we got to enjoy a nice sunrise over the water!! The property is super close to everything and within walking distance to all major attractions and all the restaurants! The neighborhood is quiet and as usual we had an epic stay in Salem. We are already booked for next year. See you then!!! I highly recommend this property

In town for a local wedding
We were looking for a location for our family of 4 (including 2 adult children) to stay for a wedding up in Peabody. We wanted to explore locally before and after the wedding event. The location was fantastic! We were able to easily explore either on foot or via car, and the proximity to the wedding also worked out really well! The accommodations were beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. We hope to come back!

Awesome Apartment in the Heart of Salem Village
The apartment was very clean and comfortable and a perfect location near the wharf. We parkes the car and just walked everywhere. All of the great tourist attractions are very easily walkable from the building. The apartment itself was clean and cozy, but had enough room for us to spread out a bit. The teens got their own rooms and our youngest slept in the family room near our bedroom. Having 2 full bathrooms is always great when you have a family of 5! We would love to stay here again if we are ever in Salem.

Amazing spot in Salem
We stayed on the first floor apt for a long weekend with 5 adults and 1 five year old. The apt was super clean and spacious for all of us. Location was prime for restaurants, with a delicious coffee shop right across the street and a minutes walk to everything Salem. Loved it here and would def stay again. My only complaints were that there was no closed captioning on the tv (my parents are 100% deaf), the front bedroom mattress is extremely soft so we didn’t sleep well, and if anyone is staying in the upstairs apt, you can hear absolutely everything.

Excellent location, very clean
We really loved our stay at the 14 Hodges Ct property. The location is just beautiful and very convenient for all the locations we needed to get to. I do wish there were a couple of more conveniences. The outlets along the outside wall in the basement bedroom, as well as the one at the head of the bed, didn’t work. It would have been nice to have an area rug in the living room, just to make it more comfortable to hang out in. More lamps for low-lighting would be nice. And a couple of more places to hang or sit items in the bathrooms/showers would have been nice. I wound up putting a lot of things on the floor. Otherwise, very very nice place! All the “issues” aren’t really issues in the long run. I would definitely stay again, and recommend this location.

Wedding guests stay for 4 days
Close walking distance to Salem attractions and restaurants. It was nice not to have to use vehicle but there is space if needed. Having an outside courtyard area was nice just need updated furniture. It was cold at night and I could not figure out how to get inside temp above 66 degrees but there were plenty of extra blankets and comforters. The view was great! I would recommend !

We had the best time staying here. The location was perfect coffee shop across the street and everything was walking distance. Space is nice & clean. It is loud if your in the basement or 1st floor but nothing we couldn’t handle. We will definately be back here.

Great space and location
Beautiful, clean apartment was perfect for the four of us (2 couples). Loved the location which was walking distance to everything we needed i.e. restaurants and markets, museums, coffee shops and walks by the water. Also liked the off street parking next to apartment making it easier to handle our luggage. Kitchen worked well for preparing meals. Having washer and dryer was also a plus. We did have problems with the apartment lock. Some suggestions to improve the space would be reading lights on both sides of beds and a desk or work station for working remotely.

Fantastic location
This was a great place to stay. While in Salem. I was there with three friends and there was plenty of room. Nice bedrooms, clean bathrooms, spacious kitchen and living room area and spectacular view. It's within walking distance of everything you want to do while in Salem and we have people with mobility issues but it worked out great. The owner was able to help with a request that we needed to have, and easy to communicate with. I can't wait to come back and do it again and will definitely be booking this place again.

Great location if you are wanting to see Salem. Everything is in walking distance, so you don’t have to stress about parking. Our only complaint was the beds & pillows were very uncomfortable. The carpet in the basement could use some TLC, but it was clean otherwise. Comfortably sleeps 5.

I enjoyed staying in the first floor apartment and the driveway parking was a nice perk. The only downside is the noise of people walking around upstairs. Other than that, the location and amenities are great.

Great location and place for a family to stay in Salem
The apartment is in a great location, across from the NPS Maritime Site and within easy walking distance of everything to see in the downtown area. No complaints about the beds or amount of space for everyone to comfortably stay. Huge walk-in closet in the downstairs bedroom was nice for keeping clothes and stuff that we packed organized. Building felt safe with two locked doors at the front and back entrances. Note that the kitchen wasn't the easist place to cook. Knives were dull and useless for cutting fruits/vegetables, no glass baking dishes, cookie sheets, or nonstick pans, if that matters to you. There was one small frying pan, but it was so scratched and stained that we never used it. I bought a sharp knife at the grocery store to get us through basic cooking/food prep for the week. We packed a lot of picnic lunches for the beach and exploring towns north of Salem and into New Hampshire. The coffee maker is a Keurig. There was only one K-cup when we checked in, so be sure to bring some or plan on buying when you're there. Plenty of dishes, cups, silverware to run the dishwasher only once per day. Washer and dryer were great. It's an apartment, so you do hear your neighbors walking around upstairs, but ours were generally quiet, and we didn't have any issues. Overall, you can't beat the location!

Stayed here for 4 nights due to original booking in Gloucester being cancelled. Was unsure about Salem, but had a wonderful time. Lots of history here. The Peabody Essex Museum is a must! Lots of restaurant choices within walking distance.

Newly Renovated, Super Location!
Beautiful, historic home located steps from everything. Home was very spacious for the 5 of us with room to spare in the huge downstairs area. We never even needed our car the entire stay since everything was within walking distance. Wonderful coffee shop was literally about 75 steps from the door. We spent our evenings, after eating fantastic food around town, walking through the historic neighborhoods. We never had any problems/questions so we only spoke with the host for a few minutes as we were leaving. He was super friendly and I am sure would be able to give recommendations on where to eat/shop, etc. One of our favorite things to do was get our photos taken at Witch Pix. Even the teenages loved it!

Witch way to a good time
Great location ! Directly across from the bay, great restaurants, and full service coffee shops. Property is located perfectly for most walking attractions The only reason this is not a five stars is the quality of the mattresses ( not good) the wasted space downstairs for full occupancy gatherings Lovely outside area and VERY quite at night. Had the downstairs apartment be mindful if a group partying upstairs they could be loud. We only heard our neighbors overhead walking some.

The great location close to our venue and Derby Street is the perfect location to tour the town on foot yet be away from the heavy tourist traffic of the core witch areas. Great location
Condo has great location, close to restaurants and sight seeing. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Unfortunately, we were unable to sleep downstairs in the 3rd bedroom. We attempted to 2 nights if our stay. However, there must be an animal that has made a nest in the basement walls/ceiling. We could hear it scurrying around at night. Luckily, we were able to put our b/g 9 yr old twins in one of the bedrooms upstairs to share and my husband and I moved upstairs. Neighbors were nosy and would stomp around after coming in after midnight. But nothing you wouldn’t get in a hotel. Check-in process was simple enough. However, there was a mistake and the cleaning lady put in a different code on the door than what was in my email. It took me 15 minutes of calling before I was able to contact someone to get the new code. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. The back area was great for sitting with a drink and relaxing. It was so nice having a washer/dryer with two 9 year olds. The kitchen was nice and had everything we needed. We did not cook meals other than breakfast. We didn’t need our car the entire time. Jaho was across the street which was more convenient than making our own tea/coffee. Would recommend the condo.

Great location!
The location is perfect! Everything is super walkable from the apartment. The house is well maintained and clean. A couple of recommendations: 1. Bring a sound machine— you can hear the upstairs neighbors walking around and going out the door as it is an older house. 2. Bring K cups—- it is Keurig machine and not a coffee pot. Great stay overall.

Super Central Location in Old Salem
We loved our stay here. While it was only two of us staying, we had family in the house during the day. It's very spacious and a delightful location with a view of the water by the pier and near the Salem Common with a playground for young children. The kitchen and dining space is the limiting feature, with a small table for 4 with 4 bar stools only within the kitchen. Parking was easily available close by, although not beside the property.

Mother-Daughters Getaway.
The unit was exceptionally clean and had plenty of room. My oldest daughter and I were celebrating my youngest daughters 30th birthday and the unit was in walking distance of 90% of Salems attractions. We all had our own rooms and the downstairs is almost like a little suite by itself. We would come back and stay again and bring more of our family.
