This was our third or fourth visit. My brother and his wife live a quarter mile away, so it is very convenient for visiting. In spite of the time between visits (and the fact that it is usually only for one night) we are always welcomed by staff who remember us.

The innkeeper gave us a behind the scenes tour when we arrived. The history is fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and the room was so cozy. What a beautiful area and great place to visit.

A nicely remodeled inn with history
I stayed for one day at this hotel. It's an older building that's been completely refurbished. The room was excellent, with a comfortable bed and clean, well-equipped bathroom. My biggest complaint is that the parking lot isn't easy to get to. I decided to try to make one trip from my car to my room, which proved to be a wrong decision on my part. Because of my zeal to get to my room (I was anxious to watch the Red Sox game), I missed a step and fell on my way. I wasn't injured, but I filled out an incident report with the person at the desk, who could not have been more helpful. When I left, I drove my car out to the front (no on-street parking from 2AM-6AM) and loaded my car that way. Cohasset is a lovely New England town. The Inn has an interesting history and the refurbished room in which I stayed was just what I needed.

Thank you for your kind words! Yes our oldest room (from 1704) has a couple of steps to maneuver around to enter. I am sorry about the stumble and so glad all is well. Please revisit when you are back in the area!

Staff was very accomodating. Loved the wide plank old floors with cut nails - straight from the 1700's. Room was updated and very charming. Would definitely recommend this historic inn

Could use a little paint on the outside and was very dark upon arriving back to the property late at night in the front. The room we stayed in was lovely and we loved the fireplace.

Brings you back in time.
This Inn was amazing. I also stayed a month ago. It is a beautiful 1704 Inn. Felt like home. Staff was also amazing.lovely bar and restaurant. A cute and delicious boxed breakfast is available to be brought to room or taken on way out as I did to travel back to NH.

This Inn was amazing. Located in the middle of the cutest downtown area with shops and restaurants. The Inn had a wonderful restaurant with a very welcoming bar. The room was unbelievable. Four posted bed and two steps down to a cozy sitting room. The 1700 vibe was spectacular. Looking forward to another stay.

Excellent Inn in Cohasset, Massachusetts
We had an excellent stay in this charming inn built in 1704. The breakfast was excellent. Andrew at the front desk was very helpful and welcoming. We would stay there again.

Great spot, needs a little more effort
This is a charming old property with friendly staff, just the sort of place we enjoy. We're fine with the old furniture and the worn carpets--it's in the nature of an historic property. What disappointed us were things they could do better. The guest connection to the internet did not work at all. The front desk gave us the password for the business internet, but that was not much better; some website connected, most did not. Neither of us were able to access our email during our stay, an inconvenience that could be a disaster for some visitors. The room was musty and needed a good airing-out and vacuuming; one of the paper coffee cups left for us had obviously been used. Just a little attention to such details and this would be a first-rate place to stay.

Thank you for your comments ! We have been having issues with our WiFi in our challenging laid out building. An upgrade is in the works. No excuse for the other issues, we always strive to keep the building in tip top shape throughout. We hope for a return visit and a 10!

The receptionist was very pleasant. Breakfast was composed of fresh warm croissants and blueberry muffin from French Memories. Fruit juice, cereal, milk, yoghurt and fresh coffee.
