Four day Boston family trip
We stayed for four nights, two adults and two kids 8 and 12. Overall I'm happy with this rental and would recommend if you're a certain type of person/family. More on that in the cons. I was a little nervous when booking as I couldn't really tell how great the neighborhood was or the ease of public transit with the listing. But it was a nice place to stay! The pros: great location for the T, a five min walk to the D line; nice neighborhood - felt safe and part of the neighborhood which is partly why I do rentals and not hotels; the instructions for check in/out were pretty straightforward; we paid for parking and had a guaranteed spot behind the building; the unit is 90% remodeled and was just as the listing showed; we had fantastic weather and were able to open the windows which was amazing, however I have no reviews for heat/AC; there were adequate kitchen supplies for our morning meals and evening snacks; the bedding was so cozy and there were plenty of towels. Cons: you just can't be larger people and rent this unit - if you're a tall person or a large person you are NOT going to be able to shut the bathroom door plus the apt overall is small; there are a decent amount of stairs - not an issue for us but could be for some; the building is charming but old - it smells old, the stairwells and laundry are fine but dark/damp, the building just it's quarks and if this isn't your thing... The bathroom hasn't been truly updated but it's clean and functions.

Wonderful Condo in Brookline!
Great location, extremely clean, easy to communicate with manager. Perfect stay for us to visit our daughter who lives nearby and to visit nearby tourist sites. The parking is a huge advantage, only $15 a night. The only negative point was the mattress on the bed -- probably a little old and needs replacement. Note that there is no elevator in the building, which was fine for us but if you have mobility issues would be a problem with your suitcase. Thanks to Kama and her team!

Boston graduation
The VRBO we rented was not as depicted in the photos. Dirty, run down, stained comforters and shower curtain. We booked for four adults with a bedroom and a pullout couch. The pullout was small and dirty with no room to pull it out. The major and most concerning problem was there was Black Mold covering the bathroom ceiling and in both air conditioners. My daughters could not even stay there because of health concerns. Unfortunately we had no choice but to stay due to graduations all over Boston and no availability elsewhere. We are working with the management for a refund and so far they have been responsive to my complaints. This unit is located in a nice area and could be a nice stay if fixed up. However, it was not for us.

Great Location
My daughter and I stayed at this property during her college visit in Boston. Great location. Easy walking. Older building so you may not be used to some of its quirks, but the apartment has everything to be comfortable. I hope to stay here again or at one of their other properties when I am back in Boston.

Our daughter made the reservation for us . Our impressions: A/good: -Easy check in -pleasant to arrive and to to get snacks -Very nice renovated kitchen very well furnished. -Towels / soap/ products and all material to make our stay confortable -Nice neighboorhood -Easy check in and flexibility of the hosts B/LESS GOOD.... - The bed and sofa bed were not comfortable at all. Matresses should be changed. -No lift in the building despite 3 floors (not mentioned on the description on VRBO -not easy with heavy luggages to go up - The front door and lock of the apartment should be changed . We did not feel secure -Bathroom should be renovated

Three days in Boston
The apartment on Kent Street is perfectly located within Brookline and Longwood, and an easy T ride to anywhere in Boston. The view from the living room looked down upon the beautiful soccer field of Northeastern University. We really appreciated the snacks and water that were left for us, and the ability to cook or store food in the full kitchen.

Clean and cozy Brookline
Great stay in Brookline. Convenient parking available in back of building. Perfect for 2 people. Unit on top floor so might not be right for anyone with mobility issues. Very clean with everything you need. Host very attentive. Would stay again!

Love Brookline!
Nice to be able to walk around the neighborhood and shops and 1/2 mile walk to subway greenline. The apartment a bit run down with an uncomfortable bed and we had problems with the ceiling in the bathroom coming down. The manager was attentive and was cleaned up quickly.

Pros: This 3d floor apartment is continently located relative to the Harvard Medical School, public transportation, grocery shop. This property has a convenient check- in and check-out express service. The apartment looked cleaned. Cons: I had a negative experience while staying at this property. Heating did not work upon my arrival during blizzard in Massachusetts. A technician could not fix heating during the first night. I have not been compensated for inconvenience but rather was offered to end the reservation earlier. The property managers kept called me late (10:58pm), despite being advised not to disturb because much needed rest in the evening after a long day at work. After multiple unpleasant communications with the property managing team, the heating was restored the following day.

Weekend Trip Stay
The property was very clean and just as described online and through discussion with property manager. Stayed at the property for a weekend trip to Boston, which was easily accessible from the property. Additionally, were able to go into Brookline for a quick dinner and there were plenty of restaurants and shops to explore around the area! Definitely recommend for travel to Boston.

Perfect Location
Positioned in very nice neighborhood. Everywhere we wanted to go was within one mile or less. Saved a fortune on Lyft/Uber. Fully functional kitchen. Some listed lighting in stairwell as an issue. It must have been fixed because it was very nicely lit. Loved our stay.

Absolutely perfect!
This was the first time to do a VRBO and was not sure what to expect. To say that Kama has set the bar high would be an understatement! We were greeted with an adorable and cozy apartment that felt like home. There were so many extra touches such as a tray of snacks with a couple bottles of water; soft fluffy towels were plentiful; cute slippers; face wipes/makeup remover; as well as shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, etc. The neighborhood is wonderful and quiet. We had great weather and kept a few windows opened at night and it was very peaceful. We used the transportation service that Kama suggested to and from the airport and James was awesome. We plan on returning to Boston in 2 years and look forward to staying in the same apartment. Thank you for hospitality Kama!

Great apartment & location
As a single person in Boston for the first time, this was happily a great choice. Loved the apartment, and the bed (esp after a long trip) was the comfiest I'd ever slept in! Easy walk to Longwood T and a short trip to city. Great neighbourhood with beautiful houses and gardens. Problem with the TV resolved very quickly (not that I watched much!), and all amenities perfectly fine. Generous snack basket and coffee greeted me, as well as surprise slippers and plentiful, quality towels. Communication with Kama from first enquiry to arrival and departure instructions faultless. Would definitely stay again.

Weekend stay
This property was a nice small apartment. Had everything we needed. Well appointed. In a nice and safe neighborhood so we felt safe. Easy walk to restaurants, coffee and Fenway Park. Communication with manager was easy. Quick response when we had questions.

Comfy Cozy Condo
A friend and I spent three nights at this cozy little condo. We were in town for a ballgame at Fenway and some sightseeing. This property fit our needs perfectly! It was centrally located to restaurants and stores and public transportation. We parked the car and walked everywhere. The owner was such a pleasure to deal with and we appreciated all the unexpected special touches such as a generous snack basket, plenty of towels and even pairs of slippers! I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay there again if I return to the Boston area.

Sweet and well-appointed apartment in excellent location!
This charming apartment is small, but feels much larger than its square footage because every inch is maximized its fullest potential. The kitchen is updated and has any appliance you could want, so it's easy to store and cook meals, if you're so inclined. The location is in a neighborhood just off the busyness of Beacon Street, but still very walkable. We had a very busy schedule during our stay, but were still able to enjoy a walk around the neighborhood on our last night to check out the beautiful nantucket-style homes! Kama and company were extremely responsive and provided very detailed instructions on the check-in/check-out procedures, as well as tips for getting around town and attractions and instructions for how to work the television, etc. Other nice details were slippers, a welcome basket of goodies! I would recommend this for single travelers, a couple or a couple with one or two children.

Nice apt and area
Our stay at this property was very nice. It is as advertised and Kama was responsive to any questions we had. We extended our stay by one night. It is on the 3rd floor and no elevator but the stairwell is broken up with landings so not as bad as a straight stairwell, and we knew this when we booked it. The neighborhood is a Historical area and has a beautiful ball field is across the street. The green line D train in close walking distance and a straight shot to tour Fenway Park ( get off at Kenmore) and a straight shot to the sights and bus tours at Government Center.

Great location but lots of stairs
The apartment is fine, a little dated but fine. The problem is the three flights of stairs to get to the apartment. The middle flight is poorly lit and I took a tumble the first night after off loading everything and then heading back out to dinner. We walked to the BMFA one day and to dinner every night. The Irish pub was amazing. Best food on a long trip. The Italian place on Princeton was wonderful, too. The apartment could use a bit of an update in the bathtub. Some of the paint(?) on the tile is coming off. Also it needs exhaust as one shower makes the whole apartment rather wet.

Cute little apartment in a nice neighborhood
Three people stayed in the apartment to attend a concert at Fenway. It accommodated us but is better for just two people. There was a basket of snacks and some waters waiting for us, which we appreciated. There were a lot of towels, which was also great. A/C units kept it cool on a hot summer day. Note that this is a 3-story walk up so pack lightly! We bought the parking pass too, which was worth the $15/day charge, then we used Lyft to get around. The property manager was available any time and very helpful.

Charming, slice-of-Boston-living property
What a charming apartment! We wanted to get the full feel of living in Boston during our visit and we accomplished that here. During our summer stay, the weather was hot and humid. However, with the two air conditioners this property has, we were comfortable and cool inside. Kama was a wonderful host. If you don't mind climbing three steep floors of stairs, you'll enjoy this place. (The stairs were great exercise for me!) It's located on a beautiful street in a beautiful part of town. Thank you, Kama!

Beautiful area near everything you’ll need!
My family and I enjoyed our stay at this location. The neighborhood is beautiful, the walk to the subway is very easy, and it’s just a short ride to anywhere you need to go in Boston. It was great to have a laundry room available. The unit is on the top floor- which wasn’t a problem for us to climb a few flights of stairs, but I did miss that detail somewhere along the line, so was thankful that my family could handle the stairs. Overall, we are so pleased and would certainly stay again next time we are in Boston.

Grand Slam Visit!
My husband and I visited Brookline to see family and attend a Red Sox game. We were very pleased with the special touches (snacks, coffee, shampoo, lotion, et.), as well as, very clean. Located in a beautiful area and convenient to transportation.

Cute, cozy and clean
We stayed at the apartment for the Boston marathon weekend. It was a short walk to either the Brookline or Longwood T stations. (Green line) A quick trip into the city centre. Beautiful safe, family neighbourhood where you can walk to Fenway, restaurants and grocery stores. We enjoyed our weekend very much. Thank you to our host Kama. Thank you also for the water and snacks.

Awesome Neighborhood

Quaint Apartment, Easy Access to Everything Boston
The property was great! A/c cooled rooms off quickly as it was very hot in Boston while we were there. There were clean towels for use all week. We had pizza delivered one evening and used fridge to store leftovers. Great little place to stay. Had a great time! Thanks!

Clean, comfortable, accessible accommodations
Though we never met our host, she was very helpful and available to answer any questions. The apartment was perfectly located for our needs, in a quiet neighborhood but close to shops and public transportation. I was traveling with my three young daughters and Kama kindly provided a pack and play for my youngest. The kitchen was well-supplied and we made good use of it. My daughters especially appreciated the complimentary snacks and treats that were left for us! All in all, it was the perfect home base for our week of Boston sightseeing.

Great Location!
Our family of 4 stayed for a few days at this neat little apartment. The walk to the T station was easy and we took the T to Fenway, Boston Common, the harbor walk and the airport. There are restaurants near enough to walk to as well. Brookline is a short walk and there are several playgrounds nearby. The apartment itself was cozy and comfortable. The modern laundry in the building was convenient. Kama was very proactive about communicating with us before and during our stay. The water and snacks in the apartment were a huge bonus as we arrived late with 2 tired and hungry kids! Wonderful stay and really stress free. Thanks Kama!

Perfect location!
We just finished a 5-night stay. We were 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 7 and 10). The apartment is in Brookline Village. It is perfectly situated for walking and public transportation. Our first day we easily walked to a game at Fenway Park. The apartment is well-equipped and very clean. Wifi works great. There is coin-op laundry in the basement ($1.75 wash and $1.75 dry/quarters required) which was great for us. We opted to rent the parking space behind the building which was great. I would recommend this apartment and would stay again.

Fabulous apartment in a perfect location
My son (17), daughter (15) and I stayed in the apartment for four nights while looking at some colleges in Boston. Although it's on the smaller side, it was more than enough space for the three of us and it has a wonderful view of the Brookline neighborhood and Northeastern's baseball field which was a real treat for my baseball-loving son. We stay at vacation rentals very frequently and the apartment was one of the cleanest we've stayed in. We walked to Trader Joes for groceries and made many of our meals in the fully furnished kitchen which was a great way to save money. It was a short walk to Brookline Village and to the "T" which takes you anywhere you want to go in the greater Boston area (you can buy a weekly pass for $19 at the airport or any number of locations). The owner, Kama, is wonderful and was always available if we had any questions. We all fell in love with Boston and hope to stay here again on our next visit.

Very clean, very tidy and perfect location to get around Boston.
My family (wife plus 3 and 5 year old) stayed during marathon weekend. The location was perfect for us to get around Boston from two different "T" lines. Close to Fenway for us to get to a game and kept our family perfectly for the time we were in Boston. The apartment was clean and we found the host very thoughtful having left out bottled water and snacks upon our arrival. Our host, Kama, also checked in on us via email a couple of times and was very flexible with our arrival and departure times. We would stay here again.
