This property reeked of smoke when we first arrived and there had been plastic bags covering the smoke detector, indicating that there had been someone actively smoking in the unit. I'm shocked this wasn't picked up during cleaning and that no remediation was done prior to us arriving. Blueground did help do two smoke treatments to reduce the odor which helped a lot, but it's incredibly challenging to get the smoke odor fully gone. It would have been nice for Blueground to offer a discount, but they ignored that request and denied any refund, discount or request to change units. I do appreciate the attempt at removing the smoke, though.As for the rest of the unit, the location is great and very convenient. The images are accurate to the unit. We did end up restocking some items within the unit because they were missing or low (forks, kitchen utensils, and shower mat).
