Great house in a great location!

Comfortable house across from the ocean and a rocky beach! Views of the ocean from the lovely wrap around porch. Walkable (or easy drive) into town and to the Scituate lighthouse! We had a wonderful week!

Great Scituate Spot

We stayed for 3 weeks. The location is excellent, you can see the ocean from the porch and all rooms in the front of the house. We had 2 dogs, so the yard was perfect. The host was very responsive.

Very comfortable house in a great spot

We really enjoyed our stay. We walked to either the light house or Minot beach everyday (on the sand in front of Egypt), and hung out on the rock beach near the house. It was equipped with everything we needed - even an electric tea kettle! Sitting on the porch was enjoyable and the house has a nice room on the end that was super comfortable. Thanks for the great stay!

Lovely home in a great location

We live locally and needed a place to stay while renovating our house. The home was a cozy and convenient spot to settle for a few days. The wraparound porch, the walkable neighborhood with a few good bike destinations, and the gentle sound of waves when the windows were open were relaxing. The first floor layout was especially perfect for our family of 5. All around a great experience.

Dream porch

We were looking for a dog friendly place to stay while our yard was being landscaped and found this lovely home overlooking the ocean. There was a large yard for the dogs to play and a beautiful wrap around deck facing the ocean. There was always something to see from the porch joggers, bikers, dog walkers constantly go by and all the people were so nice. It was a great week.

Great spot by the ocean

Very cute house across the street from a private beach. The yard was great for many kickball games and views of the ocean. Downtown is only 1.5 miles or so away which made for easy access to shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. Host is responsive and made the process easy.

Summer Vacation

The home and its proximity to various beaches and downtown worked really well for us. The home’s layout was ideal for our group with the living area set apart from the bedrooms. Wonderful ocean views from several rooms and such a friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed exploring different walking routes and beaches each day. Mary was a breeze to work with. We made great memories and hope to return!

This was our 3rd summer going to "The Beach House" as our kids call it and it was just as great as we remembered! The house is incredible, the town and surrounding towns are great and the overall location is perfect. We're already talking about our 4th year!

Wonderful Vacation!

We had a fantastic vacation. The house was just perfect! The view and location are great. The sunroom and porch are perfect reading and chatting spots. The beds were comfortable and the decor just beautiful. Mary was a great host, easy to communicate with and very nice. We hope to rent this same lovely house again next year. Highly recommend for a fun family vacation!

One of the best places I’ve rented.

This property was perfect for my family. A beautiful wrap around porch with views of the ocean. I have a very large dog and he had more than enough room to walk around and turn around. Air conditioning worked well. Place is clean and comfortable. Great yard with fire pit. Friendly neighbors. 5 minute drive downtown for anything you need. Great restaurants. Owner was very friendly and responded quickly with any questions. Will definitely be going back.

Exceeded expectation!

My husband and I stayed here for our babymoon. We were also allowed to bring our 2 English bulldogs- which made our stay that much more enjoyable. Having a yard was a great extra and we never felt like we were on top of the neighbors like you do at other beach locations. We enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner every day on the front porch looking at the ocean… we even loved relaxing there on the rainy day we had. It was gorgeous and well-kept and exceeded all of our expectations. Mary was excellent and we look forward to staying again… next time with our growing family!

Lovely home in quiet friendly neighborhood

Mary’s home is comfortable with the best outdoor space! We loved the wrap around porch with views of the water, as well as the easy scenic walk to the lighthouse. If you’re feeling a bit more energetic, it’s not much further to walk into the town center. We loved it and hope to return!

Wonderful family house

We had a wonderful family vacation and the house was perfect for all 4 of us. Beautiful views of the ocean and perfect location near Scituate harbor. Mary, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with. The house was exactly as shown in the pictures. We will definitely consider coming back next year.

Family Summer Gathering

Mary's home provided the perfect location and space for our large family to gather. It was able to fit 8 adults and a dog comfortably and was neat and organized with all the comforts of home. She was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with and left clear instructions for clean up. We were able to make some wonderful family memories sitting on her front porch listening to the waves and watching fireworks on the fourth.

Home away from home

This was our second year of staying at this amazing home. We loved it so much last year, we booked again and will continue to book each year! The home is perfect for our us and our daughter, her husband and our 2 grandkids. Our dogs come too and enjoy vacation. The sound of the waves puts you to sleep at night. We have the rocky beach across from us, swimming beach a nice walk down the street, fire pit for smores, big yard for playing ball and a beautiful home big enough for all. Mary's the perfect host, on top of things right away if needed! Be back 2022!!
