On the Ocean

The home is 30 feet from the boulders that separate land from sea. The ocean is front and center with panoramic views across 180 degrees. Beautiful rock out croppings provide visual interest from the two decks. A spectacular setting!

Peaceful bliss

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The sounds and smells were so soothing and the views just can’t be beat. The layout of the home was so comfortable and everything that could be needed was there and graciously shared with guests.

Thank you for an unforgettable stay! This beach house is the perfect place to make wonderful memories with family. It’s welcoming, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. Fabulous

Fantastic stay. We were here for our daughter's wedding. We often stay in VRBOs but this one was incredible. Jovanna was wonderful. We had our son and daughter with us along with their spouses as well as the grands 6,5,2 and 1. Everyone had their space. Get up early for the beautiful sunrise.

AMAZING in every way

We traveled with 2 daughters, 2 son in laws and 6 grands. A wonderful time was had by all. We thoroughly enjoyed all that Boston/Plymouth and fall had to offer. Being from Arizona...this location and time was spectacular. The cleanliness was perfect. Accommodations were just right for our tribe. You have out done yourselves with possible needs, wants and entertaining options. We will recommend you to all we know.

Great time with Family!

This house was everything & more! Jovanna was wonderful to work with, so communicative & answered all of our questions from beginning to end of booking & our stay. This house was great for our family to enjoy some sea air, fun time & great laughs. We really enjoyed all of the puzzles & games which we used throughout our stay. A must stay! Amazing oceanfront house!

We had a wonderful family stay at this house, which was even more beautiful in person! The owner was so responsive during booking and our stay, and welcomed us with a thoughtful gift basket. The house is as pictured, but the direct oceanfront location cannot be captured in pictures - ocean visible from all of the rooms, nothing else in the way of your views. This home was comfortably furnished, with generous toiletries, paper supplies, spices, kitchen equipment, and plenty of towels. The sauna was a nice bonus too! My teenagers enjoyed exploring the rocks and kayaking, plenty of room for an extended family to spread out. Very comfortable stay, conveniently located less than an hour from Boston in a lovely oceanside town. We would definitely come again if we are lucky enough to find this house available. Thank you Jovanna!

A stunning location and inviting home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Rockview home on this unique and picturesque spot on the coastline. The large windows in the main floor and the porches (main floor and 2nd floor bedroom level) provide 3-sided views of the ocean, including the lighthouse and dramatic, rocky coastline. Watching the tides, birdlife, and boats from indoors and outdoor spaces was a favorite pasttime. The house itself is very well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need, right in the hub of group living spaces. We made use of the firepit one night and the sauna on another. We wished we had more time to use the canoes and bikes during our stay. The owner was extremely responsive throughout and made every accommodation to make our stay effortless and memorable. Highly recommend this spot!

Already missing that porch!

What a wonderful place - and what friendly hosts! Jovanna made sure we had all we needed to enjoy our stay - including a helpful packet of information ahead of time, thoughtful touches throughout the house, and quick, ,helpful responses to any questions we had. (Honestly, her enthusiasm for making sure we enjoyed our time at RockView House was such a delight!) The house itself is lovely - lots of spaces give you the option of coming together or getting some space to yourself in whatever combination(s) you'd like - but our group spent most of our time taking advantage of the amazing wraparound porch. With 180 degree views of the water we had a variety of ocean views to choose from, and thoughtful seating choices meant that everyone could find a comfy spot in the shade to read, eat, or hang out. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon!

Visiting family in Scituate

We love coming to Scituate and the location of this house is perfect! We enjoyed some beautiful sunrises over the ocean and got to see an orange full moon rise above Well Rock. Being able to bring our dogs made this vacation even better and everyone had fun! Having a central location for friends and family to drop by when they were able made the house a perfect fit for what we needed. When we arrived, the welcome basket for us and our dogs was greatly appreciated! The house was very clean and Jovanna and Graham were available to answer any questions we had regarding the house. We hope to return in the future for another vacation!

Perfect Location for a Family Getaway

We want to thank Jovanna and her family for sharing their beautiful home with us. The lovely welcome basket was a wonderful surprise. The location is perfect and the views are breathtaking. We had a multi generational group ranging from 5 months to 78 years. There is ample space for everyone and to spread out and space for gathering together. The bucket of Dinosaurs, beach toys, books and games were all enjoyed. The public sandy beach is a short walk and much better with the young ones. Sitting on the rocks and exploring the tidepools was a favorite for my grandson. The kitchen was easy to work in and was well stocked with cooking equipment, plates and serving dishes. Our host was very responsive to questions and the house instructions easy to follow. We would hope to visit this property again.

Scituate Rockview

What a wonderful property! Communication with the owner was a pleasure. Check-in easy. Plenty of room for our family, including young children. The "Game Room" and "Toy Closet" were huge hits. The youngest children ages 6 & 3 were enthralled with all of the toys! So many added, extra touches were so appreciated! (the welcome basket which included dog treats, the sonas music system, the sauna, 3 bathrooms! chairs, bikes, etc.) The views were tremendous. House decor amazing! Walking on the rocks and beach was so much fun. Thank you to the Brooks Family for sharing their lovely home on the shore! Five stars All Around!

Worth The Money!

Jovanna's home in Scituate is exactly as depicted online and even prettier in person. You are no-kidding on the ocean with spectacular views all around you, a very nice public beach to the right of the house, a backyard for having a late-night fire, grilling out or playing yard games of all kinds. Inside is extremely spacious with plenty of space for guests to sleep and spread out along the house. Our friends and family were able to stay at Jovanna's place during Memorial Day weekend, and as our luck would have it we just so happen to have some of the worst cold and rainy weather imaginable. At the same time, we could not have been more thankful to be stranded in her gorgeous home given all the games available, multiple TVs, and a foosball table to use while we were stuck. Luckily we all made the most of it and were just happy to have our vacation time. Something we never thought of until it happened was being thankful for having a great place to stay even if the weather prevented us from really enjoying every aspect of the area and staying outdoors. Every question I had for Jovanna was answered very quickly, and I know that my family and I cannot thank her enough for allowing us to stay in Scituate! What a treat!

Dream Beach House

Most of the ladies that grew up in the Boston area, commented immediately upon their arrival something to the effect that "this was their dream beach house". This happened over and over as they arrived. The reason is that the house is situated at the end of a long beach to the right, and next to a small bay to the left. It is much closer to the water than the house to the right, and there is no house to the left. That combined with the large windows and glass door layout of the kitchen, living room, and second living area is such that you seem to be surrounded on all sides by water and beautiful landscapes of boulders, beach, and quaint New England boats, sea birds, and even a picture perfect lighthouse. The view is, as they say, "redonculous". You cannot really see any neighboring houses so it feels like you are in a very private estate . Huge decks make for great gathering spaces outdoors. All the bedrooms are on the second and third floors. There is room for large amounts of people to sleep comfortably. I live in a penthouse condo on a beach in Puerto Rico and even I was very pleasantly surprised at the uniqueness of this particular piece of real estate. If you do not live on the beach, you will be absolutely blown away by this house because it doesn't get much better (for the dollars involved). The owner was a pleasure to deal with. The amenities like the kayaks worked out great. Our group was their for a 50th birthday / family reunion weekend during Covid. There is plenty of room for folks to spread out in small groups. Everyone loved it and had a great time. We will be back

Amazing views!

We had an amazing trip with our 4 children, age range - 5-12. They played in the tide pools and on the rocks in the back. We fished a lot and walked over Minot beach. We couldn’t have asked for better location!
