Great location, responsive host!

We had a lovely family weekend getaway in Hull! The house was very nice and was equipped with a lot of kitchen essentials and bedding. Although there is only one regular bedroom, the interior of the house has been very thoughtfully designed. The property is conveniently situated by a beautiful beach and many cafes and restaurants in the area -- highly recommend!

Photos are deceptive, make space look larger and nicer than it is. Bathrooms weren’t cleaned with detail, linens were dirty (eyelash stuck to a sheet). Along with beds not being made and also stained. Couches are broken (the backs don’t click and hold upright). Curtain rod is ripped off the wall and stuff into the hole in the wall. Very disappointed with this property. And location of.

Perfect Location!

We had a wonderful stay at the mermaid Hull for my sister in laws bachelorette party! Beautiful place with beautiful views, fun decor and perfect, perfect location right across from the beach. The views from the balcony were amazing. Check in was super easy. Very happy with our stay and would stay again. Great for a group of people!

Worth Every Penny - So Fun!

This is a terrific get-away spot. We had a family celebration, and everyone really relaxed and enjoyed themselves. It was an extra bonus that the "Daddy's" best pizza was right next door (though call ahead to order as it gets busy bc it is so good). It was so welcoming when we arrived, with lovely decor and bright windows to see the beach. And, for those with young adults -- all the technology worked perfectly . Thank you for the great memories we made!

Amazing Place with Stunning views and Ocean Access!

The Mermaid of the Hull was a beautiful property! I came here with a few friends for my birthday and it was perfect. The views from the rooftop patio are amazing and the beach access is awesome. I highly recommend waking up early to see the sun rising over the bay! Everything was just as I could’ve hoped for!

Feels like you are on the beach!

Great views of the ocean from the upstairs deck.So close you felt like you were on the beach. Lots of restaurants and activities on the same block and literally next-door to the house! Home is very cute with lots of personal touches to make you feel comfortable.

Nice house, old furnishings/interior, RUDE host

The reviews were so highly rated that our group was looking forward to this trip, but as we checked in, there were many things not working in the house and the owner was rude and dismissive. The owner does not care about her tenants, only about her rating and cashing checks. Upon checking out, I pointed out to the owner the several things that were not working, but instead was met with very rude responses saying that I have no ratings and that she has 5 stars, so it's my word versus hers. That exchange was incredibly rude and tainted the trip for me - I would never stay here again and would caution anyone else with the below. Our group of 11 stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and on the second day we had a repairman come to fix the air conditioning. We were NOT told it was broken before check-in and in the hot summer with 11 people in the house, you need AC! The repairman did not fix the AC and it still did not work when he left. On top of that, the air conditioner on another floor leaked a half gallon of water on the futon that was below it, so it was too wet to sleep on that night. The lights on the third floor flickered constantly for 2 nights because the dimmer switch is finicky. There were no extra garbage bags and body wash for a 4 day weekend with 11 people. Highly surprising for a 5 star rated place. She stocked the house with free hotel soaps and shampoos with a sign that says "don't take too many or I'll have to charge more for my listing"! Ma'am, these are free Marriott and Westin body washes. The kitchen was well stocked with oil and spices to help us cook and there are cute decorations for anyone celebrating events. The owner did go the extra step with providing ample blankets, towels, robes and bedding, but figuring out the flickering lights and AC was difficult without having any instructions provided during check-in. The checkout process for this house requires a lot of cleanup effort on the group that stays there, which we followed. On top of that the owner tried charging our group for a broken cup and plate that we did not break, and she had no pictures or evidence to provide so she cancelled the charge. It was a nice house, but the owner does not care about her customers once she has your money. As a first time VRBO user, worst host and experience I've had at any rental property and probably won't use VRBO again.

Amazing!!

We loved our stay in Hull at Patricia's property. It's beautifully decorated and had more than enough space and amenities for the 10 of us that stayed there. We absolutely loved the porch overlooking the ocean, and enjoyed many mornings of coffee watching the sun come up over the water.

Great stay!

Location is great, view is awesome. I stayed here with a bunch of girls for a bachelorette party. There are 6 beds/ futons that can sleep 2 people each comfortably. Enough room an air mattress if we needed to. Very spacious even with 12 girls sleeping there. The bathroom both up and downstairs had tons of samples of shampoos, conditioners, and cosmetic products which is definitely a nice touch! Owner is very easy to get in touch with and is flexible with times if able to. There are signs around the house to let everyone know how everything works- very helpful. I would definitely recommend!

LOVED this place

loved this property and would recommend it! I do want to recommend you check the spring on the dishwasher - it was a little tight and would slam shut ... almost took my arm off. Also, our son wants to know if its for sale - he LOVED it :))))
