This is a very spacious rental as it is the full basement under someone’s home. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pots and pans, however, it would be nicer to have some newer items such as cookie sheets that were not kept clean by prior renters and hot pads. Also we would have like some teaspoons and not just large tablespoons. We appreciated the paper towels and clean sponge for washing dishes! A real highlight is the use of the washer and dryer since we were in the road for two weeks! Be aware that you are staying under a home where people live and the noise is present. We think a door at the bottom of the staircase would go a long way to stopping some of that noise. The host was excellent at communicating and took care of needs immediately for us! We would stay here again!

We stayed 2 nights with our boys for a soccer tournament. The location was perfect and centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. Self-check-in was easy and convenient. Nice living room with comfortable couches and a big TV. The table tennis table was a plus for the boys and the kitchen was great. The bathroom could need some updating, especially the shower, but was adequate for what we needed. We appreciate the hospitality. Thank you again.

The location is excellent for travel to Boston and shopping is right nearby.The space itself is rather disjointed and spread out, but with teenagers that is fine. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances but not conducive to cooking. The sponge for cleaning dishes should be replaced.The bedrooms are very cozy and warm. The beds are comfortable and when asked for another blanket the owner responded rapidly.The bathroom was well equipped with towels and was nice and warm. The shower as others have stated is pretty grimy and could use an overhaul, but the water was nice and warm and the water pressure is good.Laundry facilities were a HUGE plus!! Thank you for supplying the laundry soap!My kids really enjoyed the ping pong table.Overall it is a good value for the money.

This was a good landing place for our family trip to Boston. The kitchen was very well equipped and the flat was very clean. I was impressed that they set up the pull out sofa before we arrived! Very good location for public transport, and the hosts were very helpful before our stay.

Large space with comfortable beds and amenities for a longer stay. Ping Pong table was a plus. Shower floor was in need of cleaning/replacement and much of the unit could use some attention. For a one day stay it was fine and the location was great.

A great location for exploring Boston and surrounding areas. We enjoyed the spacious rooms, very comfortable double bed, lounge with TV and access to Netflix. Hosts provided excellent instructions. We would stay here again, thank you for a lovely stay.

Nice Place, but beds are hard

Overall, this is a very nice place and we loved the spaciousness, the added Ping Pong table and basic kitchen amenities provided. There were only 3 issues we had -- one the beds were extremely hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. Owner should invest in Mattress Toppers to soften them up. Two of us ended up sleeping on the couches as the beds hurt our backs too much. The 2nd issue was the shower, very difficult to use -- turning on/off and adjusting temp. Would recommend changing. Lastly, assuming the owner lives above. Understandably we would hear footsteps, but to hear them running on the treadmill early in the morning and late at night, was somewhat bothersome -- hearing constantly banging. Again, overall very good value for the money and location is good. If owner makes the above suggested changes, would be 5-star!!!

Roomy, pleasant stay at this home in Dedham

Great stay for our needs of visiting family in Dedham. I would have felt safer having a railing to hold onto while using the outside steps. Would stay there again as the location is great for this family.

Lovely short stay

Similar experience to other reviewers - the place was spacious, clean, and overall lovely! Slept super well there. There were minor sounds from people walking around above, but nothing that got annoying or disruptive. We were a tad disappointed that the ping pong paddles had padding that was peeling a lot - we were able to make do and play with what was there though. The property manager gave all information in a timely manner, and check-in was super easy. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt very safe. Great stay, would come back again!

Exactly as advertised

Great bang for you buck. Very clean and spacious. My only note is the noise from what we presume is a treadmill, typically between 6:30 and 7 am. Not an issue unless you are sleeping in the living room or you are an early riser. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit Boston.

The property was spacious and in a great quiet neighborhood, conveniently located within a quick drive to Boston. We only stayed one night and were comfortable. Having a ping pong table was a nice perk. The decor could use a little updating, but it's certainly nothing that interferes with the usability of the space. We were able to hear the owners upstairs moving around, but for the price, size and location, it was a small trade-off. Overall, would not hesitate to recommend. Also, communication from the owner was great.

The place is fine

Generally, the place met the expectations but you must expect some humidity and what's come with it. If you plan to go to Boston with the train, expect some difficulties in late night because the train station is close, this is true, but at night the trains are not so easy to catch (consult the mbta site to understand the lines and their schedule). Our comeback from Fenway Park was a pain in the *** after the game. However, yes it's really quiet (at least the moments we were there).

Ruime woning

Fijne ruime woning. Makkelijk in te checken. Kinderen vonden tafeltennistafel leuk. Ligging goed, vlakbij treinstation, dus snel in het centrum van Boston te komen. Nadeel was dat de woning wat vochtig was en de keuken had schoner mogen zijn.
