Great location for end of day relaxing
This was a great place to stay while attending a conference at the convention center. Close enough to walk there quickly, but far enough removed that you could relax at the end of the day. I made use of the rooftop hot tub twice during the stay -- it was just too appealing, even when it was snowing in January! There was no breakfast due to Covid, but they left bananas and cookies, which was nice. There was also no elevator, so be aware that you're going to have to carry your luggage up several flights of stairs! The Loxe app has a lot of bugs (see the app reviews), but the owners communicated well and we we were able to resolve all the issues before my arrival. Had no issues with the app after that. Bed was comfy, shower had great pressure, overall very comfy. Would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Boston.

Quick update, we have a new arrival process that requires no use of an app. We constantly look for the best technology to add to guest experience and have a simple pre-arrival check in so arrival is super easy. Best Bed and Breakfast in Boston!
Absolutely stunning Bed and Breakfast in Boston South end! The owners Steve and Bobby go way above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Check in- is done easy using the LOXE APP. You are able to check in, gain entry and access your room all through the app. Parking- just a wee bit of a challenge. It is the south end after all. I recommend quick double park, drop your bags and then head down to the parking garage on Berkley Street ( 0.3mi). Once back at the Clarendon, you will be able to appreciate the Old south end ,meets updated construction! Everything is updated and impeccably clean. Rooms- 4 poster comfortable beds, big tv, and stocked refrigerator! Extremely clean bathrooms with plenty of linen. Rooftop- the only one in the city with a hot tub!!! Amazing views and super fun and clean. The hosts- you absolutely will not find better hosts anywhere!! Stephen and Bobby go to great lengths to assure your comfort and enjoyment!!! I wish I had more characters to be able to write!!! 5 stars!! Will keep coming back!!

Thank you for the 5 stars. We are happy to have reopened Fall of 2012 with completely rebuilt guest bathrooms with Italian marble floors, Porcelanosa wall tile and all new fixtures. We also repainted most of the property and added many new furniture to lighten and brighten the property. Clarendon Square now offers pre-arrival check-in and keyless entry so all guests have flexibility for comfort and safety. We truly want you to have an incredible experience staying in our Boston property.

The soaking tub was amazing. It was too cold for us to care to try the rooftop hot tub, but we did go up and see the view, which was fantastic.

We had a great time . The room was so nice and the bed is comfortable. The roof top jacuzzi with the Boston skyline view & within walking distance to bars, restaurants and entertainment. The service is 5 star.

This was exactly what we were looking in our staycation, an experience that allows you to literally drown all the stress from work and every day in that beautiful tub. The entire room was amazing, the staff and accommodations were so personal and flexible. We will definitely be back!

Everything exceeded our expectations. The only setback was weather, which was not in their power to command. The host was fantastic, and breakfast was more than expected. The directions to local establishments were on point. We felt right at home, and were exhausted at the end of the day from our excursions around town.

Clarendon Square Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful property in a great location. The proprietors were great hosts offering assistance with other aspects of our stay in Boston. I would not recommend bringing a car to this location as parking is very limited (two spaces @$30 a day), and you can easily take public transportation to any other part of Boston with a quick walk to the station. The only negative for us was that breakfast didn't come with the price of the stay, it would have been an additional $16 each daily. We are not huge breakfast people, just prefer something light so that wasn't worth it to us.

Thank you for noticing how clean our property is. We are glad that you came to stay with us and are surprised that you found any aspect of the property noisy. Nearly all of our guests as us if they are the only ones staying in the hotel because they could not hear anyone else. Anytime you have a problem with a hotel, please let the staff or manager know, it is the only way that we can be sure that everything is good for you. Billing mistakes can happen and are easily corrected in minutes. It is always our pleasure and duty to put the customer's needs first and ensure that they have a most memorable experience. Just perfect in every way, probably one of the best b&b’s we have ever stayed in. The property and rooms are absolutely beautiful, the area is quiet and pretty with everything within easy walking distance, Bobby and Stephen the owners are so welcoming and friendly and give excellent tips for getting the most out of your visit to Boston.

Yes, between Tremont and Warren Ave. Just a couple feet from Columbus Avenue, in Boston's South End. We are so pleased to be located in Boston's most happening and active restaurant district. We are happy to help you choose amongst the many options.

Charming bed and breakfast in renovated brownstone. Location is excellent: walking distance to almost everything. Only downside, we were on the 4th floor and the climb up to our room was brutal (we're old).
