Physical Therapy Convention Boston
We had a wonderful time in what we called our Russian Chalet. One of our group is fluent in Russian and loved the cookbooks, art and the feel of the home. We enjoyed playing pool and chess in the evening. The home was clean and well prepared for our stay.

Quick weekend
This is a fantastic place to stay in Newton. More than enough space for the whole family. Nice size yard out back. All the amenities you’d want to make you feel at home. It was relaxing and comfortable.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, but there are some things we think that would have made this stay even better. The house is huge and open, and like other reviews the beds were super comfortable. We were a party of 10 with 7 adults 3 children ages 12, 13 and 8. We had some trouble with the gas stove, only 1 burner worked for us to cook eggs in the morning. The living room had very limited seating as there is a huge pool table in the middle of it. We did enjoy the pool table, but several people had to sit on the floor while watching some Halloween movies. We dragged some of the furniture from the other den to the living room but those leather couches were very uncomfortable and only fit 1-2 people tightly. Wiring for the hot tub was above ground and laying like a hose so it did not seem safe. Nonetheless we did go in the huge hot tub which fit 5-6 of us easy and we enjoyed that. Lastly, a few prior reviews mentioned there was a mouse in the house. I thought since months had gone by since those reviews that we were safe and rodent-free: I was wrong. The day before we left my husband took a video of the mouse right in the middle of the living room. Thank goodness we left the following morning. If the property manager or homeowners would fix the stove, hot tub wiring, provide better furniture for the living room for large families to gather, and take care of the mouse they would get better ratings

Family Weekend Gem
The home accommodated our extended family for a wedding weekend filled with new memories. The large yard with ping-pong and hot tub provided something to do for everyone. When the weather soured, the ample public spaces with pool table and fooseball kept everyone entertained. The kitchen’s large selection of cookware and storage easily accommodated take-out meals and those made at home.

Lovely house in lovely neighbourhood
We were 6 adults, 2 toddlers and 1 one year old staying together for a family event. The house was perfect. Our grandchildren loved the kids' suites, especially the "princess room" as my granddaughter named it. The backyard was great for the kids, soccer nets, swings and slides, and a firepit which we used (with mesh cover). The house was clean, well supplied, lots of towels for everyone, lots of showers, great kitchen, etc. Beautiful home with lots of personal items from the owners, so it needs to be respected and taken care of by anyone who uses the house. A real gem!

Weekend Stay for a Family Reunion
We stayed with friends & families, kids ages 1-10. There were plenty bedrooms for everyone and it's difficult to find a place with so much space close to Boston. The property was in a quiet neighborhood with driveway parking that held our 4 vehicles, so 5-star location. The bedrooms & bathrooms were top notch, and the beds themselves were comfortable. The kids had plenty to keep them entertained - ample space and toys in the play room, an outdoor area that had a full playset and soccer goals, foosball table inside, etc. The house is not baby-proofed (e.g. the electrical outlets aren't covered, no child-proof latches on cabinets). There is some artwork in the house with nudity and sexual promiscuity. Upon arrival we smelled gas. We called the property manager, who answered immediately, and explained that the smell could be due to the AC being run for the first time after a period of being idle. We aired out the house, which helped, but we went nose-blind to the smell and it seemed to come back each time the AC was turned on. Our fault for not calling the property manager back, as she did offer to send someone out to investigate if airing out the house didn't work. We were locked out of the AC at midnight the day of departure, which made for a warm evening & morning. We saw a mouse outside day of arrival and inside as we left. Refrigerator water & ice maker didn't work. Gas stove lit sporadically. Expired food in the cabinets. Kitchenware needed cleaning (e.g. tea pot).

Spacious but did not meet expectations.
We were disappointed by some of our experience...there is definitely a mouse - we saw it several times. Ice maker doesn't work and there was no ice supplied for our arrival. Large built in coffee maker in the kitchen doesn't work and leaked water. No washcloths or hand towels - only bath towels. Very little glassware for everyday beyond an army of miniature wine glasses. The dishwasher was Full upon arrival. Cobwebs. Backyard was quite messy including dirty lawn furniture. Playroom was fun for the kids but there were a lot of broken toys. The space worked for our family but I wouldn't rent it again.

Perfect Family Trip Setting
We had 9 in our family party and the mother-in-law suite was perfect for my elderly parents and aunt so they did not have to walk up the tall staircase to the upstairs rooms. Plenty of bathrooms so everyone had their own space. We hosted a dinner one evening for local family and friends and the dining and living spaces were accommodating for that too. It rained so we did not use the back yard but would have been a nice place to eat outside. We are a family that cooks together and tend to be super organized, we were able to find everything we needed in the kitchen. Veronika an accommodating host and responsive. We would stay here again.

Great house but needs a little work
Let me start by saying that the house is beautiful and all of the beds are comfy. We came to town for the marathon, the house is about a 2 mile walk from the bottom of Heartbreak Hill which was perfect. It’s also a 1 mile walk to the subway station which meant getting in and out of Boston was simple. The house itself is lovely and it has all of the amenities one could ask for. The house manager was very easy to get a hold of and she was very responsive to our concerns. The problem was our concerns. The children’s suite that my daughter was staying in was unbearably hot. For whatever reason the air in that room did not work and it was stifling to say the least. I contacted the property manager and she was able to get someone out to fix the AC fairly quickly but it’s still not something that I really wanted to deal with on my vacation. The other problem was the mouse in the house. I saw it, my friends all saw it, I could not get a picture of it, but there is a mouse in the house. Considering the amount of money that I spent on the rental, I’m not really thrilled about the fact that the house has mice . Mice are not something that happen overnight so this problem predated our visit.

Great for Family Gatherings!
The extended family and I had a wonderful holiday gathering here! Plenty of space both indoors and out! The children enjoyed the playroom and the outdoor playscapes. Even the adults were able to get in on the outdoors fun in the hot tub. Thank you for opening your home, this is the third time our family has rented from you, it won’t be the last.

Overall, pretty good
while there were some small issues with the property, overall, we had a good time. We had stayed at the property in 2018 but now it feels like it could do with some TLC on the maintenance side. The outdoor area is spectacular as is the entertainment area inside.

Boston trip
Property was nice and clean with plenty of space. We had 10 adults in town for a concert at Gillette Stadium. Would recommend the property for anyone wanting space in a good location outside downtown but easy to get to! Veronika was easy to work with and always responded quickly to questions.

Great house for families with kids
This house has 6 bedrooms, including two kids bedrooms with all of the toys and dress up clothes and books you could ever want. The back yard has a playground feel and there is so much for kids to do out there our family called it “the park”! The bedrooms felt comfortable and clean. The main part of the house and the front exterior of the house could use a deep cleaning but the other family amenities made up for any other deficiencies. We really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Really Fantastic Experience
This property was the perfect setting to create awesome memories with our friends and family. Our group had a lot of children (three 3-year-olds, two 1-year-olds), and this home was fantastic for them. There are plenty of long open spaces for the kids to chase each other, plenty of bathrooms to change diapers, and decor that wasn't overly fragile or dangerous. The kitchen was SUPER well stocked; we really enjoyed cooking in it. When we forgot to bring some ingredients (vegetable oil, soy sauce, etc) - there was already plenty available. The only thing lacking for us was plastic cups / dishes for kids. There were plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and social rooms - all of them clean and well maintained. The kids ESPECIALLY loved playing in a room that was stocked with toys and costumes. And of course, one of our favorite amenities was the hot tub. It's new, easy to use, and super relaxing. Thanks for a great stay - we'd love to come back!

Beautiful, Spacious Home -- But There's A Serious Safety Issue!
I need to preface this review by pointing out a serious safety issue with the gas cooktop in the kitchen, namely that the front three burners do not stay reliably lit after lighting. I discovered this after lighting one of the front burners, placing a pot on it, and then smelling gas a minute or two later after it had gone out without my knowing it. I then experimented with all six burners and found that the three front ones would not stay reliably lit after ignition no matter what burner setting I selected (the three back burners did not seem to have this problem). This could potentially lead to a life threatening buildup of gas if someone lit one of the front burners then left the kitchen thinking it was going to stay lit when it extinguished instead. I notified the property manager of this problem and would expect that she will annotate this review when the cooktop hopefully gets fixed. Other than that, this house was fantastic! Very spacious and comfortable for our party of eight adults and three teenagers. The homeowners were very gracious in opening up the seventh bedroom for us (initially we were told that only six of the seven were available for our use since they were storing some musical equipment in the seventh). There were a couple of minor initial glitches during our stay, but our very responsive host, Veronika, got them quickly corrected. One thing that caught us a little off guard is that bath soaps, shampoo and conditioner were not provided in the bathrooms. Not sure if that's due to Covid or not, but my experience renting other houses is that those items are usually provided. We really appreciated the spacious and well stocked kitchen, the expansive dining and living rooms, the verdant backyard, and particularly the pool table and spa which were big hits with the kids. The bedroom that my wife and I slept in had an extremely comfortable bed and I got positive comments from the others regarding their beds as well. All in all, we enjoyed our stay immensely and would certainly look to stay here again when visiting the Boston area.

Open concept. Perfect for entertaining.
We rented this property for our son’s and our niece’s graduation from Boston College. We had 13 adults staying here and there was plenty of room. We entertained 2 parties ( one for each graduate). The open concept was perfect and we never felt crowded. The yard was great for hanging out and The hot tub was awesome. Crystal clear clean and so relaxing. Don’t worry about bringing pans or serving platters or anything else. This is the best appointed rental I have ever seen. High end serving platters and dishware and utensils etc. This house had everything we needed.could not have expected a better experience. Veronika was our contact and filled every request we made.

Beautiful home with lots of space
This is a great house for a large group! Tons of living space to go with all the bedrooms. Some confusion in the Checkin process, but it was all quickly handled by the property manager. Would definitely rent this house again.

The listing was misleading. The in-law suite is not true. Neighbors were not ok with VRBO
Average. Property was very dated, Yard was a mess. The add states In-Law Suite which assumes an additional bedroom. This is not the case. Neighbors complained about us being a VRBO, apparently not approved in that neighborhood.

Roomy house-great for large group
We were a group of 5 couples starting out east coast tour with a few days in Boston. House was just as advertised. We had a few minor issues and owner was very quick to respond. Nice neighborhood. Easy to move around with Uber and subway/trains. I would stay again .

Beautiful and comfortable house
We were a ground of 14 women who rented this house for a week for a soccer tournament. We travel together quite frequently and have rented several houses all over the US. This place was perfect for our large group and is one of the best we have rented! There are plenty of bedrooms with comfortable beds, enough for all of us. The linens are nice and the bedrooms are quite roomy. There are enough bathrooms to accommodate us and we never had to wait around for showers etc. The kitchen is large with modern appliances and is well stocked. The living room are is perfect for a big group to socialize. The house is located in a beautiful neighborhood and is close to shopping and the Metro. The driveway is big enough to easily accommodate four cars. Veronika was a gracious host, friendly and thoughtful. She responded to our texts immediately and answered any questions we had thoroughly and in a timely manner. The maintenance person was also quick to reply and immediately fixed a minor problem we encountered. Overall we had a great experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house.

Big beautiful house with plenty of space and light
We were a group of 11 women that were celebrating 3 milestone birthdays. The home was in a great neighborhood close to the city and was perfect for our group. The kitchen area was large enough for all of to congregate in comfortably and the appliances were top of the line. Having 7 bedrooms and 4 1/2 bathrooms was really a plus. Veronika is a great owner who responded quickly to all my questions before we arrived and even gave me some help with restaurant recommendations. It is a lovely, spacious property and perfect for a large group of people.
The house met our needs in every way; however, the staircase is rather daunting for a group of 71-year old women with heavy luggage. The kitchen is beautiful and fully equipped. Veronika was very responsive to our needs and brought extra towels and toilet paper when we requested it. The neighborhood is lovely but does not lend itself to walking because there are no sidewalks.

Outstanding property
we loved the house. It was perfect for our large (7) group. Everyone had a bedroom to themselves. We really enjoyed the back yard with the grill and fireplace. There were a few minor nits. The cutlery needs to be sharpened. Our chef member struggled to cut up meats and vegetables. The main cook-top seemed not to work fully. We were never able to get more than two of the burners to work. It would have been nice to have soap and shampoo in the showers. But overall, it was wonderful and Veronika was an extremely responsive host.

Absolument parfait
Cette maison était grande, nous étions 11 adultes et il nous est même resté un chambre inoccupée. Elle est située au milieu d'un endroit très agréable, boisé et que de très belles demeures. The home was beautiful, well-maintained, and very comfortably accommodated our group of 15. We celebrated my parents' 50th anniversary visiting the church where they got married for a renewal of vows. Location was super convenient to Boston and surrounding areas. Neighborhood is peaceful and nice with Wegmans supermarket very close by. Owner immediately responded to call when I had a question and was very nice and helpful.

Suited our needs very well,
We rented the house for family to stay in during our daughter ‘s wedding in Boston. The house is large with good spaces to gather, far more comfortable and convenient than staying in hotel rooms. Some of the beds lacked sheets, though the linens were nice, towels were plentiful. The kitchen could use more glassware, we ended up buying plastic cups. It’s a good house, needs a little TLC. Neighbors seemed unhappy with us being there, which was a bit uncomfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the occasion very much.

Fantastic home with plenty of room for a big group
We were in Boston attending an annual convention and found this home a perfect fit to accommodate our eclectic group. There was plenty of space to socialize with enough rooms to offer privacy when needed. Great neighborhood with plenty of places to eat, not to mention a Wegmans close by to answer all our grocery needs. The off street parking came in handy. The owners were readily available to answer any questions. The home was very clean with plenty of towels for everyone. We would definitely rent this home again when in the area. Thank you Veronica!!!

Very clean, in a nice neighborhood, great location to Boston.
Veronika made our stay very pleasant. She is very hospitable and provided answers to our many questions. We had one minor issue with the TV and she mitigated the problem immediately. The home is large and comfortable. We had eight gentlemen staying in the home, there was adequate space for all of us. The neighborhood is quite and very clean. Public transportation is not far (approximately one mile) and provides direct access to downtown Boston and beyond. We would definitely stay at Veronika's home again.

Nice big house in a great neighbourhood. Could have used some more cooking utensils.
The oven was dirty but a phone call through to Veronica was made and a maintenance man came and cleaned and replaced the missing light bulbs. It's in a beautiful neighbourhood and easy access to transportation.
