We had a great stay overall. The neighborhood was really nice and felt quiet and safe. Unfortunately, the weather during our visit was rainy and cold, so we didn’t end up walking into Salem as we originally planned—but it was only about a 5-minute drive, which made it very convenient. We did walk to Salem Pioneer Village, which took us around 15 minutes, though likely shorter without little ones in tow.The home itself was very spacious and comfortable. We think there may have been other guests staying at the property, but we never saw or heard anyone, which made it feel very private.The hardwood floors can be a bit noisy, but that may have just been our 3- and 5-year-olds stomping around—nothing negative, just something to keep in mind if you’re traveling with kids. The bathroom is a little tight, but manageable, and the shower head is quite high, which could be a consideration for shorter guests.The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, and the beds were incredibly comfortable—the linens even smelled amazing, which is always a nice touch.We would definitely stay here again!
