Everything was great, the house was clean upon arrival. The beds were comfortable. The view from the deck and hot tub is awesome. If we are back in the area again we'll definitely try to rent this cabin again.

Great weekend stay

The property was clean, organized, and accommodating. Great spot to relax and enjoy a weekend with the family. I just wish we had been able to stay longer! Would absolutely visit again.

Girls weekend

This cabin was perfect for a girls weekend birthday celebration. All of the kitchen basic necessities were supplied and better than expected. The firepit was used and provided firewood appreciated! The hot tub was perfect…and the view was amazing! Definitely recommend this beautiful cabin.

Wedding Weekend

I rented this property ahead of my friends’ wedding at the Creekside Farm Venue LLC. Awesome times were had at Rest S’More. Kitchen has every utensil you could think of. Game room was a hit.

Awesome house! Every need is anticipated. Rest S’more is fully equipped. Lots to see within 25-45 minutes or just sit on back porch viewing wildlife or in hot tub with a glass of wine! Stunning views. Locals are incredibly helpful and nice. Highly recommend a stay here. You will be happy you did.

Beauty and serenity

More than expected. Lots to do around local towns, but difficult to leave the peaceful and relaxing cabin. Main street Forest City made us feel welcome as the town folk were very friendly. Exciting, little, secret find...Blue Ridge distillery just minutes away.

Simply the best!

This is the best on all levels. The house is beautiful with gorgeous all wood interior, stunning views and comfy furniture. The house was meticulously clean with every conceivable pot, pan, appliance ever required. Could NOT have been better on any level!

Mountain wedding getaway

Absolutely Beautiful location and views. Super clean and they thought of everything here. Games, extra throw blankets to sit on the porch and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails. Loved that its pet friendly so our fur babies could be with us for this special occasion and plenty of yard/woods for them to explore. Kitchen was beyond stocked with all the conveniences of home. Will definitely be back and recommend

That View!

Wow! What a find. We are so thrilled we picked this cabin as it was when more than what we were expecting. The layered mountain view was so mesmerizing and peaceful. The log cabin styled home has beautiful decor and tongue and groove woodwork throughout. It was such a comfortable space and the hot tub was an added bonus! Can't wait to come back. Great place to get away from it all and to get back in touch with your soul.

Family Thanksgiving Adventure

Three generations of family stayed at Rest S'more for a 3 night Thanksgiving holiday. The cabin was the perfect setup and allowed each family their own space. A full dinner was cooked in the well supplied kitchen. We had a campfire at night with s'mores. Friday we went to both the Lucky Strike Gem mine and the Yogi Bear campground. Yogi Bear was a hit with the grandkids who were allowed to fish. This was a great vacation in a fantastic location. I would definitely recommend!

I do not believe any additional things can be done to make the reserving process, check-in process, check-out process any better, as all are done with the click of a button. How simple is that? The views, the ambiance, the furnishings, the wildlife, the peacefulness match perfectly with the mountains of western North Carolina.

Absolutely amazing view from a top the mountain.

Warm and inviting cabin where are the owners seem to have paid attention to every little detail. Even in the winter time we found the views expensive overlooking multiple mountain ranges. We are definitely looking forward to going back in the summer to see all the foliage in full bloom. The cabin was nicely equipped with more amenities than we have seen in previous owner rentals. We give this five stars and highly recommend renting this well-suited location cabin from the top of mountain close to multiple cities, dining and outdoor activities.

Exactly what we needed!

Our goal for escaping to the mountains was to rest and recharge. Rest S’more delivered on all fronts! Sitting on the porch and enjoying the peace and quiet was transformative! Up on the mountain, it felt like we didn’t have a care in the world. We enjoyed the time we had by catching up on reading and rest. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed with amenities and plenty of towels! The cabin was spotlessly clean and we appreciated the seasonally-appropriate decorative touches. The kitchen had everything we needed for eating meals at the cabin. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding areas and recommend the Whistlestop Bakery along with Pie Safe for some delectable treats to bring back to the cabin. We’ll definitely be back. We’d love to time our stay so we can watch the leaves changing colors, which would be easy to see with the sweeping views from inside and outside the cabin.
