"This is a great 1-bedroom apartment and we enjoyed our stay. Warm, dry, comfortable for a family of 4 to hang out, walking distance to the lifts. Two reasons why great. First, it was very clean. "The cabin was really cosy and the location to Sierra was great. The owner is very friendly and keeps up good communication. Things to keep in mind are the cabin is a little difficult to find and the winter terrain might be a little difficult for normal cars. Otherwise, the cabin is very well maintained and setup, and we would definitely recommend it! "

"The place was very nice, clean, and was just as advertised. It was pretty small, but comfortably slept 3 of us. There was no kitchen, just a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a toaster. There are also no plates or bowls (even paper ones) so I suggest that you bring your own if you plan to use the kitchenette. The walk to the lifts is only about 5 min, and there is also a shuttle stop right out front if you don't want to walk."

"A friend & I came to Kirkwood to hike and paddle. We enjoyed a lovely morning paddle on Caples lake and a half day hike on the Carson Pass trail. Beautiful area. We enjoyed the condo’s pretty meadow and Mountain view. "
