He gave us superb tips for hiking and adapted to our diet needs for the very yummy and inviting breakfast. 1722 is located behind a old church in a beautiful, quiet, traditional stone village. We absolutely recommend it. For the rooms, it's better not stay on the ground floor, as it tends to be damp. But there's an air-con."

"The Owners of Hotel Le Grillon in L'lle- Rousse, Corsica were charming and met us with a very warm welcome. They were very helpful. Quiet room, included a fridge and safe. Bathroom included toilet, shower and sink, with showergel/shampoo. Parking - off the main street, certain amount of parking up a side road. Excellent, lovely location, walkable to a sandy beach. Would certainly recommend to stay again. Did not have time to try the food, so can not comment."
