"This was our second stay at Heron’s Hideway. The location is wonderful on a peaceful, beautiful lake and yet close to Florence a charming town with good shopping and many great restaurants. The hosts are very accommodating and ensure your stay is perfect. The provided kayaks allow you to get out onto the lake.We hope to return and highly recommend!"

"The yurt was very cozy, clean and comfortable. I have never stayed in a yurt before and loved the experience. We loved the rock shower and fire pit. A good time was had by all. "

"This place was so beautiful, overlooking the water with a sweet view of a seagull nest with two chicks. Gorgeous sunsets. Comfortable bed and furniture and well equipped kitchen. The property seems well managed and super organized with everything that I needed and even things I didn't think I needed. The on-site amenities of pool, fitness room, and a little convenience store right in the office were much appreciated."

"It was a great mixture of the outdoors and the ocean. Minutes away from nice beaches and downtown bandon. Plenty of hiking and biking trails. Only bummer was we couldn’t have a campfire during Oregons “fire season”. The cabin was just as it looked in the pictures. It was a good stay all around. I recommend it. "

"This cabin really takes you back... from a working percolator coffee maker, toaster, & stove, to the super cute blowdryer! Breakman's quarters is an end unit, & has a large, modern walkin shower. Nice water pressure. Kitchen has a working retro-looking fridge & microwave. Easy to access door code & ice available onsite. We enjoyed the view of the lake from the dining table & the adirondack chairs on the lawn. Its August, so many plants & grass have died back, & no train went by on our visit....

"Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. Beds were comfortable enough for decent sleep. Shower was small but functional. Driveway definitely could fit two normal sized cars, bumper to bumper, although was a bit narrow. Quite close to the beach access point."
