"The home was in a quiet/safe location, extremely clean and comfortable. We loved sipping coffee on the front porch in the morning and our kids enjoyed the toys/games provided. We were so thankful for the plentiful stock of bath towels- as a family of six, coming straight from a sporting event on day one and hiking on day two- we certainly utilized the shower. "This is a beautiful home, very roomy and comfortable in a nice safe neighborhood. It was within walking distance of several restaurants and not too far of a drive to the Road America track. Pretty much anything you could need was provided, including some unexpected amenities from our host, Carol. Highly recommended!"

"My husband, 7 year old son, and I stayed here for a long weekend. The location was excellent! We were 2 blocks from the public beach and the playgrounds. The house had plenty of space and we appreciated the closet full of games for my son. We will stay here again."

"We were in town with family from several parts of the country to watch the motorcycles at Road America. This home was a perfect option. Very close to the track. Easy for family dinners and dinners together. We got to enjoy fishing, fire pit and water toys when not at the races. And the sunset was gorg!"

"Stunning views from multiple vantage points both indoors and out! Wonderful private bedrooms and bathrooms. Spacious living areas which provide large and small group visits. VERY well stocked kitchen with additional refrigerator space in garage. Unlike some lodgings we’ve stayed, EVERYTHING worked-appliances, entry codes, AND communication with Todd/property owner. "Water frontage was great. Kids had a blast on the water. Paddle boat was so much fun and the kayak, fire pit, fireplace and the little beach area were great, huge private lot with deer, turtles and abundant wildlife and the sandbar in the middle of the lake was fantastic. Dog friendly. Now for some things that need improvement: better bug control on the interior (ants), amenities listed laundry on site (but there wasn't), no access to a garage for covered parking/storage of gear. "Our family loved staying here! The highlight was beach access. Although it wasn't right on the beach, access was only a couple of minutes away walking to the end of the street and down a very short public path. Couldn't have asked for a better beach to hang out at throughout the stay. The rental had a homey-vibe, but was very well kept and had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive before and during the trip."

"The location was perfect for our family trip over July 4th weekend! Walking distance to beautiful Lake Michigan beach, fireworks, ice cream, food trucks. Short drive to cute pier with shops and restaurants. The house was spotless and had everything we needed for a family of 4. The stairs are definitely tricky but typical for an older home. The temperature upstairs was manageable with fans and opening the windows at night. "
