This one-bedroom duplex is conveniently located, not too far from "down-town" and close to some of the birding hotspots we frequented. The unit is clean. The bedroom has lots of storage and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is spacious, although the shower could use a grab bar for senior citizens and a floor mat to prevent slipping.
The kitchen is well appointed with a large refrigerator/freezer. We did not use the induction stove top or toaster oven, only the microwave and the coffee pot. We did not turn on the TV in the bedroom, only the one in the living room. At home we have satellite TV. The streaming TV service was new for us. We missed our regular channels, so we watched a lot of old programs.
It was too windy to sit outside, but the back patio with chairs around a fire pit is a nice feature. There is a barbecue in the front, which we didn't use, either.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay and are planning to make this our "home-away-from-home" again the next time we visit Anza-Borrego Desert State Park.
