The house was amazing! The pictures don’t do it justice. It is on a big lot right next to town, but far away enough to feel private. Decorations were beautiful and all the amenities were exactly what we needed!

Peaceful Stay in the Desert

We really enjoyed our stay. The property was clean and very comfortable. We also enjoyed the soaking in the hot tub and stargazing. We will return.

Perfect desert hideaway

It is truly a lovely and well cared for property; you are not likely to do better in Borrego. It is scenic, clean, and comfortable and Terrie is a great host.

Wonderful location and comfortable home

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this home. The owner was easy to communicate with, the kids loved the pool and ping pong table. Excellent location in a beautiful setting. Highly recommend!

Wonderful unique house, private but central location. Loved having breakfast on the veranda and drinks there in the evening. Several interior steps as mentioned by others.

Excellent place to land

A lovely house/home, in a great location, a wonderful kitchen to cook in, comfortable beds. The outside spaces are magical, and of course the hot tub (and dips in the cold pool) were a part of our everyday. Working with Terrie (the host) was a great experience.

A perfect weekend of relaxation.

This getaway retreat was a big hit with the entire family. We loved everything about it. It was quiet and relaxing. We felt like we were away from everything in our own quiet world of relaxation, even though a market and restaurants are less than a mile away. Everyone agreed we would like to go back soon.

Fascinating concrete construction, w pool and jacuzzi

Very functional, layout and great for two couples our two small families. Owner was very cordial and communicating, and was able to rebook our stay last minute because one of our guest was sick.

Even Better in Person

Everything about this property is even better in person. The rooms are bigger, ceilings taller, pool larger, and scenery beautiful. The check in process was simple, the house is well stocked, and there are multiple outdoor spaces. There were only two of us, but this would be a great property for two couples or for family. We'll definitely be back!

Borrego Spring Bloom

Wonderful property near downtown and state park but off main highway. Great home with reverse layout and uniquely constructed of rammed earth. Pool, spa, and game room are a great addition after hiking.

Great spot

This is a great space to escape from the city. Home is spacious. Kids loved the game room. The pool & hot tub were great. Plus, there's a 220 outlet to charge your EV. Strongly recommend staying here.

Great Stay for Getaway Desert Trip

Our second stay. Rammed Earth house is unique even for Borrego Springs. Had all amenities we needed and of course pool and hot tub were fantastic after hiking. Thanks again, Terrie!

Wonderful Desert Home!

We had a great time at this home, check in was simple, home was super clean with a well stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The construction of the home is unique, and the layout was absolutely perfect for our two families. The kids loved the game room and the pool and are already asking when they can visit again. Host was very kind and responsive to all inquiries. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Comfortable and spacious

My husband and I stayed here for our first visit to Borrego Springs. We had a great time and loved coming back to this home after our adventures. Terrie was very responsive to any questions we had. I loved the way it is decorated and the furniture is comfortable! Not always to case so it made it nice to hang our as well.
