"Pictures of the property don't do justice to this place. We stayed in Cabin 1 and it is beautiful! The cabin has a deck all around with an outdoor dining area, gas grill and private sauna. The main living area has the living room and kitchen and it is beautiful, full of windows up to the ceiling and very spacious. There is also a loft with a futon bed and its own TV. "This property is really nice. The location is great for exploring Snaefelsness Peninsula. Borgarnes is the nearest town and has a few nice restaurants, a museum, and a walkable community. The home itself was clean with comfortable beds. Check in/out was easy. There is a gate going in that is worked by calling a number. The home has a lockbox and security system, though the area felt very rural and secure. "

"Muy limpia y muy bien situada. Tiene 2 habitaciones y una buhardilla en la parte superior: algo peligrosa para niños pequeños, pero divertida para niños a partir de los 8/9 años. Muy luminosa, buenas vistas y completamente equipada. El jakuzzi está fenomenal, no es de agua geotérmica (a mi me hubiera gustado mas, pero como digo es cuestión de gustos) y estaba muy limpio. El entorno invita a un paseo por el río truchero. Un poco justa para 6. Gracias a los anfritriones!!"

"We had a total of 12 people in our group and this property setup was perfect. People ages 8 months to 65 years. Location was great for exploring Snaefellness but not too far away from Reykjavik to discourage golden circle activities. Road is pretty easy to find, don’t need 4x4 but take it slow. Need cell phone access for getting to the property. We got to see northern lights while there so that was nice. Absolutely recommend staying here"

"The cabin lives up to its name as it is very cozy and the views are spectacular. We had northern light shows both nights we stayed there and loved the sauna to warm up after a cold day on the glacier not too far from the cabin. The owner communicated very well and check in and out was very easy. We loved that the cabin is off the beaten path but also a 20 minute drive to restaurants and shops in Borgarnes. We would definitely stay here when we visit Iceland again. "
