This was a return visit. A great stay as always. The hosts are lovely. The property is well located close to town and recreation. We have, as on past visits been so comfortable here. The beds are super comfortable. Well stocked with all the amenities you need and even some welcome goodies. We'll stay here again when we're in the area.

Amazing home and location!

We had a wonderful time! The house was spacious, comfortable, clean, and very well stocked, with beautiful views of the river. The location was perfect. Lisa and Rick put together a binder with tons of helpful information about local amenities and things to do which came in quite handy. We’d love to stay here again!

Hagan's Hollow

Cozy and comfortable, this is the second time we've stayed here and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. Great location, close to town and trails. Well stocked with everything to make it a great stay. Lisa and Rick are the perfect hosts. We'll be back.

Always a wonderful stay!

We have stayed with Lisa and Rick many times over and have enjoyed our time in their home and in the area. Their kindness, hospitality and generosity are boundless. We are drawn to Damariscotta and will continue to stay in Lisa and Rick's home. It is our home away from home.

Perfect stay.

This was our 5th stay with Lisa and Rick. We love our time spent in this welcoming home and the neighboring community. Pumpkinfest was so much fun and Lisa's inside information made our time even better. Can't wait for our next stay.

Damariscotta and a perfect week

Everything about our stay was lovely, easy and peaceful. Our hosts were so friendly and they welcomed us warmly. Our communication was perfect. The accommodations were so comfortable with everything we needed. Lisa and Rick were exceptional. We hope to return again soon.

Lovely Damariscotta stay

What a beautiful home and location! Hosts are full of information on the area. Backyard is inviting to relax in, right on the river. Home is very well supplied and beautifully decorated. We will try to visit again in the future!

FABULOUS!!

If we could give this owner ten stars we would! Probably the best place we have ever stayed. Hosts were extremely nice, easy to reach and have thought of every possible thing travelers might need. If we get a chance to come back to Maine we'd stay here again and again!!

Enjoyed our stay very much!

The property was exactly as described—spacious, tastefully decorated with a Maine theme, tidy, and clean. The kitchen was in very good condition and had everything we needed for cooking and barbecuing. The host was very nice and responsive.

A Hidden Gem!

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful place. Perfectly stocked with everything you could ever want, comfortable and well-thought out in every way. Our hosts were welcoming and available for questions. The property is located in a very quiet, peaceful area that is easily accessible to town and many areas that we enjoyed visiting. We loved it here and will definitely stay again when we are traveling to Maine. You should treat yourself to a relaxing getaway here!

A Great Find

Lovely spacious property with gorgeous water view. Just south of the picturesque town of Damariscotta. Near New Harbor, Pemaquid and South Bristol. Very quiet and private. .The best stocked VRBO we've rented. Owner was most helpful. Look forward to staying again.

Another wonderful stay.

This was our fourth stay with Lisa and Rick. It feels like our home away from home. We are so comfortable here and thoroughly enjoyed our time. Loved the serenity of kayaking on the Damariscotta and we so enjoyed our day trip to Monhegan Island. It is such a magical place and we plan of visiting again. We are now looking forward to our return trip for Damariscotta's Pumpkinfest. We are sure it will not disappoint.

Charming and Convenient

We had a nice time. Our hosts were responsive, but otherwise gave us privacy. The beds were very comfortable. There were many extras to make the home have all the little things you might need. Loved the screened in porch overlooking the bay. We would come back! Thank you!

Great Place!

This was our first Maine experience and this property has all the amenities listed as well as extras. It is a wonderful location in the mid coast of Maine. We were able to do so many day trips to different places we wanted to go to. We were able to visit, Freeport, Bath, Booth Bay, Camden, Pemaquid, Rockland, and Acadia. The restaurants in Damarisotta did not disappoint. We enjoyed all of them. We were well pleased with our stay. Lisa and Rick were very welcoming and gracious hosts extending all offers of help if needed.

Clean, well-stocked, beautifully decorated.

It was perfect for us. Super clean, cozy, with everything we needed and more. Lisa was super helpful, responsive and kind. Glad to be able to carry 2 of the 3 kayaks to access the water. Reminder to folks not to smoke in non-smoking places so the renters who follow don’t have to smell your butts! Thank you for a wonderful week.

Quiet, Private and Beautiful

I stayed at this beautiful property while attending a professional class at Anatomy Trains, a campus about 6 miles from the location of this VRBO. I shared this VRBO with a colleague friend, hence the two bedrooms were perfect providing space and comfort. I loved the fully stocked and operable kitchen, a door that closed to the kitchen, so I could make food early mornings without disturbing my friend. We both loved walking on the quiet residential road, sitting on the rock by water, and kayaking. This VRBO place is quiet, private, meticulously cared for, and has a luscious screened in porch with a view of the water. Because this is and feels like a home, it provides a nice place to visit and enjoy the visit. I would very much enjoy staying here again. I sincerely appreciate Lisa's welcome, notes, and friendship during the stay. Thank you!

Absolutely perfect !

My husband and I have stayed in many properties on our annual Maine trip, but Hagen's Hollow our favorite! The location is perfect, the home has everything we needed and alot more in case we did! The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen cozy and well stocked, the screened porch a delight to see the water and waterfowl. Lisa was so friendly and welcoming and communication easy and quick to respond, we had a wonderful stay!

Birding

Great lookout to see eagles and Osprey Owners very accommodating and fully stocked with supplies. Great location for seeing all of Midcoast Maine. Can kayak in river and stop at islands. Fire pit for marshmallows and indoor cozy electric fireplace, lots of room to spread out for 4 people. As well as screened porch.

Above and Beyond!

Vacation rental was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. All you need is your toothbrush, clothes, and a sense of adventure, everything else is supplied! Rick and Lisa are awesome hosts. They go above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. We appreciated the cold bottle of Prosecco after a long drive from Michigan. We were very impressed with our stay in 2021 and decided to book for 2 weeks in 2022. Great location for whale watching, puffin tours, lighthouses, lobster pounds, Reny's, antiquing and more!
