"This is a nicely remodeled, fully furnished, clean home. All the basic necessities were provided for cooking and serving meals as well as bathroom, bedding, and laundry needs. The bed and furniture were comfortable. There is a large deck off the kitchen with a view of a nature preserve. The nature preserve has walking paths through the woods that my dog seemed to enjoy. "This unit was perfect for the two of us and our small dog. The apartment is in the center of Boothbay Harbor with water views. I am used to supplying our own paper goods after the initial single roll of tp and paper towels at VRBO rentals. The owner supplied plenty of everything to make our stay perfect. I would definitely rent this unit again or refer to friends."

"Can’t say enough great things about this lovely home! So clean, fresh and bright! The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was perfect for my older dad. The location couldn’t have been better. "Highly recommended! The property is conveniently located within a short drive of Downtown Boothbay Harbor. The view from the house was spectacular and the accommodations extremely comfortable. The breakfasts were truly memorable, and coffee and fresh baked cookies served as a delightful afternoon treat. Carolyn and the Five Gables staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, readily sharing their local knowledge of the area. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

Recent renovations provided creature comforts, and getting out to explore in-town Bath or out to Reid was a short car ride away. "The house is just beautiful and was very clean, very comfortable, we loved it. The shower stall is very small. The location is nice but not really walkable to anywhere. Communication with Vacasa, however, is not great. They reply much better before you book and maybe the first day and then - not anymore... There were some issues and they sent only auto replies and no real answers. Not really issues with the house, the house is rather perfect."

"The title and description are spot on, this is a vintage home with every amenity we needed for a long weekend exploring Damariscotta and Boothbay Harbor. We only needed 3 bedrooms, so did not use the bunk beds tucked into the first floor alcove, and planned to spend most of our time out & about. It was a perfect location for us."

We decided to stay at Lola's to get away from all distractions, catch up, relax and chill. It was a real girl's "retreat house". Everything we needed to be comfortable and pampered was in the lodge.
