We stayed 3 nights at this property to get some skiing in. 4 families - 7 adults and 7 kids. The house is massive (4 floors) with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The location is great if you are looking for easy in and out from the main gate. Although you don't go very far up the mountain, the views are still nice (shame they built the huge stone fireplace right where the best view is though). The decor is fun, very rustic and log cabin like (love the wood wall in the half bath). The furniture and beds were comfortable except those wooden bar stools in the kitchen (not the saddle ones). Light switches were tricky to find and the lights in many rooms were glaringly bright (I think they were halogen). The dining table is squeezed into the space I would call the foyer. You literally walk in the main door from outside right into the table. There is not a bit of room around it between the door, bedroom, and kitchen. And despite this house sleeping 14 people, you can fit about 8 around the table. It appears to be an afterthought in the design unfortunately. There is only 1 bedroom on every floor of this house (with the exception of the top floor which has 2 king bedrooms with a shared tiny bathroom and a door between the 2 bedrooms) which was not ideal. The bedrooms do not have any view at all. The bunk area is on the very bottom floor and open and below the staircase. It was comfortable for the kids however the problem with this design is that the game room (pool, darts, ping pong, air hockey) is just above it and since the bunk area is open to the stairs, it meant that when the kids went to bed the game rooms is unusable - too much light and noise. We were hoping this would be a great evening hang out for the adults but we were never able to use it because the kids were right there sleeping. If you have light sleepers don't put them on the main floor bedroom near the kitchen - the wall does not go up to the ceiling and the gap between the wall and ceiling throws a lot of noise and light into that bedroom. The bedroom on the game room floor should have a king bed instead of a queen. The kitchen was well stocked and the house had all the amenities we would want. Nice house, we just didn't like the layout despite there being plenty of room.
