Great Stay!

Had a great time and great stay! We loved the River view in the backyard, the large fire pit, hot tub, and the cabin! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Location

We loved our stay at Riverbend Retreat! The pictures do not do it justice this location is beyond beautiful! We had fun kayaking, hot tubing, and playing pool all weekend long!

Adults getaway

4 siblings and their spouses stayed for a fabulous, relaxing weekend. Being able to sit by the river and fire pit each night (and much of the day) to talk and laugh was fabulous. A trip one day into Boone and another to Old Barn Winery made this a perfect getaway.

Overall, out stay was fine. However, with it being a winter stay, the basement/gameroom space is not heated. It never got above 54 degrees the entire time and the small portable heater they had down there is not even close to sufficient. Our two families needs that extra space for the amount of people we had stay there and unless you wore a winter coat, you could not go down there.

Spring break in Todd NC

Cabin at a great location. Game room was wonderful. Grandkids were very impressed with the bunk room 5 of 6 slept in that room. We were sad to leave!

Excellent vacation

The family and I had a great stay at Riverbend. Plenty of room to spread out, excellent amenities, lots to do inside and outside (or to just sit and watch the birds, listen to the wind, and watch the river flow by.) Good fishing spots are easily accessible and launching the canoe and kayaks are easy (just make sure you have a plan to retrieve them downstream after your paddle). Great cabin!

Great place to hang

Went on a trip with my brother and some friends and we loved the place! Had everything you could need. We enjoyed the game room and fire pit! It’s close to Boone and some other cities if you want to get out and about. Definitely recommend!

Peaceful Oasis

We had such a great time. This is such a beautiful peaceful place. Everything you need and more. Just as described. A lot of little special touches added by the owners made it better than anywhere we have rented /stayed in the past. Definitely would stay here again.

Well Equipped Great Group Getaway

We stayed for a weekend, 2 families with 4 kids between us. The house was comfortable and well appointed. We particularly appreciated canoes, kayaks, life jackets, bikes (we never used b/c there wasn't time), the hot tub and the river. So much to do without going anywhere. A great stay!

River was beautiful!

The property had plenty of room for the kids to play and the river was a huge plus. The kids enjoyed playing in it and the adults enjoyed fishing. The house was just right for our family with plenty of entertainment and space. Highly recommend!

A wonderful experience!

It was a total pleasure staying at this home. Gorgeous location and very well kept, well stocked, and clean home. Very clear and helpful check-in and check-out instructions. Our only complaint was that the hot tub water was quite dirty (so we could not use it), but otherwise, it was a truly wonderful experience!

Enjoyable stay

Property was very clean, lots of fun features! We enjoyed the pool table, foosball, cornhole, basketball and air hockey. It was too chilly to swim in the river, but loved sitting by the firepit on the shoreline. Nice quiet location.
