Iba con buenas expectativas, pero la estancia fue deepcionante. De hecho, recorté mi viaje y me trasladé a Charlotte. La atención en recepción fue mala, nunca hicieron limpieza en habitación. Aparte había par de luces dañadas.

The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean except for the black mold in the shower. The mattress was not comfortable for us, although others may find it just right. The one glaring issues is the exterior condition of the hotel. There was a large garbage can and stuff spilled around the entrance. The garbage can was flanked by rat bait boxes. The landscaping was dying plants, dirt and weeds.

Hotel staff was very gracious and accomodating in allowing me to check-in an hour early, once room was cleaned, enabling to get started on some necessary paperwork. Only criticism was that the breakfast for my two-day stay was the same with very little animal protein, except for boiled eggs and sausage gravy. Way too heavy on the carbs.

Our room was quite dirty. There was mold and water damage in bathroom as well as gnats and ants in the bathroom and room. The hotel is quite dated. We won’t be staying here the next time we’re in Boone.

Overall the hotel was good…our carpet in our room needed to be cleaned but it was fine. Bathroom was clean. Breakfast was ok..not many options but coffee was good! Staff was overall helpful. Would stay again.

Montana greeted us at check in and was very accomadating. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. Jamie was kind and helpful. The whole staff was very nice and friendly. As I was checking in to the hotel I asked the young lady at the desk NOT to charge the card on file that i used to book the room but instead to charge it on the one I handed to her. I got my keys and checked my bank account to realize that she had charged Both the card on file as well as the one I handed to her. I then had to go back to let her know of the error, i was then charged an additional fee for her mistake on top of the hotel fee. I was told the charge was a processing fee and would be removed by 2am the following morning. That same night another couple busrt through our room door because coincidentally they were given our same room and keys!! I felt unsafe and had to explain to the other guest this was the room we were given upon check in and they notified the front desk of yet another mistake. Some of the staff were just unhospitable at all. We were lied to and told a manager would help us at one point and we never saw or spoke to one. This was supposed to be a stress free birthday weekend but it was beyond upsetting!!

I have to admit, I was a bit shocked and deeply hurt by both your review here and the one sent to Choice. I want to address your specific concerns while clarifying that I do not recall the events as you describe them here. I am the General Manager for the hotel, and not only was I the person who checked you in, I was also working at the property every day during your stay, so I was certainly available, though I may not have been at my desk at the exact time you inquired. I believe in transparency and accountability, and while I completely understand your frustration and deeply apologize for the mix-up with the room keys, I do take exception to the part of your review that describes your check-in experience.Regarding the issue at check-in, as I explained, a technical error with the pinpad resulted in a charge posting to the card on file, which was used to guarantee the reservation, rather than the one you were using here in person. I assure you, this was not done intentionally, nor was is the result of negligence, as it is our policy to post payment to the physical card presented at check-in. It was simply a technical error with the pinpad. As soon as you made us aware of the incorrect charge, I did both apologize for the inconvenience and immediately reverse it, and charge the correct card. Once the original charge was reversed, it is up to your financial institution to process the transaction and release the funds. As I mentioned, you need to call your bank if that amount is still outstanding, we are no longer in possession of the funds. I provided you a copy of your folio showing, line-by-line, the two transactions and reversed charge to use as a reference when contacting the bank. We did not collect any additional fees.As I mentioned in my response to your previous review, to which I have not received a reply, I do take guest feedback seriously, and would very much like to discuss any unprofessional behavior you experienced with my staff. Please feel free to contact me at the hotel directly so that we have the opportunity to improve our service.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The property was ideal for a quick overnight trip. The breakfast was good.

Having a small kitchen in the room was wonderful. We were able to heat up our lunch leftovers for dinner. The room is large and clean and the hotel is super quiet. There was a nice fire burning in the lobby and when it snowed there were ice scrapers on the front dest to borrow to clean off your car. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

We had a weekend stay for our anniversary in room 300. It was great! Clean and everything went well. At one point the lady downstairs said we were not supposed to be in that room. Pretty sure someone walked in our room around 7:30am one morning waking us up. It did make me feel like we had loss of privacy but I believe it was a mistake.

Snowy weekend steep incline to enter property was not plowed. Desk said there was only entrance. There are actually 2 entrances to the parking lot. Otherwise a nice stay.
