Brenda was very communicative and helpful as we prepared for our trip and once we were there. There was snow and she made sure the driveway was clear for our arrival! The house was clean and warm with plenty of room for two families to spread out. The back yard area was great with the hot tub and fire pit and overall we had a great visit and would definitely stay there again!

The house was totally clean, well equipped, and in a great location, convenient to Boone, Blowing Rock, and all the attractions. The house is laid out in a way that is conducive to family relaxation and conversation. The huge kitchen is in a large room with sofas and a TV, so we could watch the games, talk and munch all together at the same time. For those who wanted it a little quieter, the living room is just steps away, also with comfortable sofas and a conversation area. The loft upstairs is perfect for reading with the grandkids. We had a severe winter storm with high winds one night and the house was as solid as a rock; we have rented some mountain houses that creaked and groaned during storms. Not this one. Also, the furniture and beds were comfortable and the kitchen appliances were restaurant grade. Everyone wanted to cook. We have already booked for next year.

This is my family’s second time staying at this property. It’s been perfect for our group of 6 adults and 4 young children. We enjoy having the multiple living spaces and plenty of room for dining, plus a large kitchen. The Host is very attentive and kind. I’d recommend this property to anyone.

First of all the communication from Brenda was fantastic. It was timely ( within an hour), detailed and always helpful. The place is so perfect for a large family with kids and grandkids. The professional kitchen and spaces for gathering were spacious and perfect. The ping pong down stairs was a huge hit with all. The bedrooms were very nice and outdoor spaces were incredible. Amazing views from the massive wrap around deck. The play area for the kids and dog were were great. Not able to emphasis how perfect Brenda and Ron’s place was for creating the environment for an unforgettable stay. What a memorable Thanksgiving week for our family. Looking forward to coming back.

Our Second Stay

This is a terrific house for a family or friends outing to the NC mountains. It offers plenty of space, a very large outdoor deck, well appointed kitchen and several seating areas. The location is awesome, just off the Blue Ridge Parkway midway between Blowing Rock and Boone. We hiked every day of our four week vacation at Moses Cone Park. Loved it all!

Multi family Christmas trip

Three families including grandparents and pets had a great time staying at this property. We cooked dinner each night but could’ve used sharper knives. Outdoor spaces looked great but unfortunately we had terrible weather and couldn’t take advantage. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, linens and pillows. Owners had excellent communication and quick response. I would recommend this place to large families. Only 15- 20 minute drive To shopping and restaurants.

Great Thanksgiving getaway

Me, my family and our friends had a great time for our Thanksgiving trip. The home owner was great to work with, very responsive. After the hurricane hit, we weren't sure what to even expect, but she kept us updated, and let us know when things were opening back up. The house was the perfect size. We had 2 families which included 5 adults, and 5 kids age range 9-13 and it was prefect. Thanks so much for your hospitality!

Family Celebration

We had a wonderful time! The house and property were all as advertised! Brenda was wonderful in helping us with some questions that came up as well. We also had some snow while visiting and sledded down the street in the neighborhood. A great spot we are sure to visit again!

Always an excellent and relaxing experience.

Very convenient and relaxing spot to escape. Fantastic kitchen that is perfect for cooking together and taking in lovely Mountain views. Highly recommend. This was our 3rd visit.

Family Vacation 2024

Brenda's home was perfect for our family vacation which included 6 adults and 2 children. We had a lot of rain the week we were there but the house had plenty of large gathering spaces as well as private spaces when we were stuck indoors. The outdoor space included a hot tub and playset and the granddaughters and adults enjoyed begin outdoors when we could. The kitchen was fabulous and well stocked with everything we needed. Great location off the parkway, only 4 miles to 321 which gave easy access to Blowing Rock or Boone. Our last 5 family vacations have all been in the HIgh Country and we would definitely stay at Brenda's again. She was able to give us both early check-in and late check out and was a fabulous host. Thanks!

Simply perfect

The home was beautiful, clean and well maintained. It felt like a private, secluded sanctuary but it is so close to everything in Boone and Blowing Rock. The host was amazing with communications. My family thoroughly enjoyed our time there and we will most definitely return.

Stunning home

This cabin was stunning, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin was well stocked with supplies (towels, paper towel, toilet paper, trash bags). Brenda provided a list of nearby activities/attractions prior to our stay as well as excellent directions to get to the cabin. She was a wonderful hostess; texting upon check-in as well as throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. Ron (next-door neighbor) greeted us shortly after we arrived and gave us directions/recommendations for groceries and food. He also let us use his leaf blower to clear the driveway of debris (small twigs/leaves - we were on motorcycles) throughout our stay and refilled an empty propane tank promptly. We spent time every night in the hot tub and around the fire. The sunroom and deck seating area were used in the morning as well as the evening. There was more than enough space for all three couples. It was nice to have the option of both a Keurig and a coffeemaker (which was large and used daily). The sunsets were stunning and only a few miles from the cabin. We loved being right off the Parkway - close to everything yet far enough away to not hear any of the traffic, etc. We will definitely book this cabin again the next time we are in the area.

Wonderful stay!

Beautiful home in a quiet, convenient area near Boone, Blowing Rock and the Parkway. Brenda is an amazing host with friendly communication and helpful recommendations. The home is spacious and has great amenities from relaxing decks and hot tub, to fully equipped chef's kitchen. We had an extended stay with family and pet and enjoyed our time in the area.

Family Ski Vacation

Our time spent in the home could not have been more enjoyable. The house was very accommodating for our family and our needs. Traveling with various age groups from toddlers to grandparents, the home allowed us to spread out and be very comfortable. I can't say enough about how easy Brenda was to work with. She was always quick to answer any questions we had. At the last minute we saw we could come a day earlier than planned. She made every effort to get the home ready for us so we could add a day to our stay. We enjoyed our visit to Spacious Mountain Treehouse and hope to return soon! Brenda and Ron were great host and I highly recommend this property.

Great Cabin!

We had an amazing time at this cabin. So many great features, but one of the best was the yard space for the kids. The host did a great job of communicating. The home was clean and extremely well stocked. I would highly recommend!

Perfect mountain house!

We had such a great Thanksgiving in the mountains. The house was clean and comfortable. The backyard was great for kids and a dog. Couldn’t ask for a better location and Brenda was a fantastic, responsive host!

Fantastic time inNC

All was as described and more. Beauty of area at this time of yr was beyond words. We had great family time and the football game was awesome (even though we lost). The property and hosts were wonderful ( few light bulb problems, minor). Would come every year if possible. Thank you Brenda for everything.
