The house is gorgeous, location is perfect. Did have some issues that were overcome; but to be honest, the management company wasn't particularly responsive to legitimate problems. I realize it was the week of New Year's and staffing was minimal, but when you charge holiday rates, you need to provide holiday responsiveness.

We love the area. We did notice that there were several dead bugs behind the sofa and that no vacuuming or cleanings appears to be done underneath the bed in the master bedroom. Also the top of the headboard was quite dusty.

Fantastic panoramic view!

The view from the deck, kitchen/dining room was fantastic! We watched several spectacular sunsets! The kitchen has been updated, and is very well equipped. One small complaint - it was hard to find a bright enough light to sit in a chair and read a book in the evenings.

Best vacation house

Absolutely the best vacation house! Recommended to everyone! It has it all for a wonderful vacation. Nothing negative to say! And you can't miss those spectacular mountains views from the house ! Close to town and groceries ! We had a wonderful stay for sure!

Mountain weekend

When our house in Burnsville was damaged by hurricane Helene, we had to quickly make new arrangements for our family weekend. With one week notice, we got this wonderful house in Blowing Rock on VRBO. The house was great.... beautiful mountain views, hot tub, fire pit, good location for hikes and town, and lots of space. The kitchen was well stocked, and we cooked some fabulous meals. We highly recommend this house!!!

Perfect getaway property

We loved this property. The views are beautiful. If you're looking for tranquility and overall comfort, this is the place. Beds were very comfortable. I have back issues so I don't often sleep well when away. I didn't have any issues with back pain sleeping in the master bed. Location is perfect for all the activities offered in the area. Kitchen is very well appointed. Can't think of anything we needed that wasn't available in the house. Views from the kichen and deck are amazing. We definitely plan to reserve again for next year.

Beautiful home, beautiful views, convenient location

My friends and I went for a girls weekend away and the house was perfect for us. Very spacious with plenty of rooms/beds to accomodate the five of us. Beautiful mountain views. Conviently located to Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock. Very clean, easy check-in and check-out process. Would definitely book again.

Cozy and comfortable cabin

Our family of 4 had a great time at the cabin. It was well stocked, organized and clean. Beds and furniture were comfortable. The two fireplaces were perfect! Due to the ice storm and frigid weather during our stay, we were unable to take advantage of the beautiful porch areas, fire pit and hot tub. We still had a great time playing games and music in the loft game room. Plenty to choose from! Thank you.

Things don't work properly in NC

Fire pit didn't work !! Dishwasher didn't work !! Pictures online are deceiving Everything in the pictures look WAY bigger than they really are. I would not book or recommend this property to anyone. I definitely feel like I paid way more than it's worth!!!

spacious mountain view home

this home had plenty of space, very nice views, comfortable beds. Would be nice if there were a washer and dryer. The location was out of the way and perfectly located for Blue Ridge Parkway rides. We were very satisfied. Sadly due to a flood in our Coral Gables Florica home due to heavy rains, we had to leave a day early.

Very nice property in a good location …. But it really needs some TLC. Light fixtures not working, shades fell down, screen doors fell off tracks and a shelf in kitchen came down. Sounds bad, but all of it could be rectified with a little owner TLC and this would then be a solid 4 stars.
