"We had a great stay at Mamaw's Cabin! The place was perfect for our party of 3 and our dog and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hot tub was a great way to finish the day after spending hours hiking the amazing scenery of the area, in particular the trails around the Linville Gorge. "Very relaxing stay! Very clean and had everything we needed. Our dog, Bella was comfortable as well. Would recommend staying here, very close to restaurants, shops on the Parkeay, and downtown Blowing Rock! Great location. We will be back!"

"The creek is amazing. Deep enough to wade into. Location is convenient to Banner Elk (you have to try the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster!!) and Boone (have to try Coyote Kitchen and Stick Boy!) While you're at it head up Beech Mountain in the summer and ride the chair lift to the top (there's a bar up there) and watch the mountain bikers ride down the mountain. House was convenient to all of this! Can't wait to return. Oh yeah, the homemade sour dough bread and jam are a welcome surprise. "
