Here is a retreat in the woods directly on a small lake! Come relax in this calm, stylish apartment on the entire first floor of a family home. Grab a canoe and go fishing, or take a swim right off the dock then head to the hot tub. Peep our plentiful resident PNW birds and wildlife including bald eagles, ospreys and herons.

This is a space to relax! With two fireplaces, a hot tub, and an unencumbered view of the lake and surrounding trees, this private guest suite will let you soak up the luxury and refresh from daily life. The circular floorplan offers a large and fully-stocked kitchen, luxury custom-designed bathroom with laundry machines, quiet sleeping area with fireplace and super-comfy bed, living room with fireplace, dedicated work station, and a sitting area to maximize the beautiful view of the lake below. Catch up on reading, roll out a yoga mat, or just take a well-deserved nap - here is a place to indulge in comfort while retaining the amenities of work-from-home and daily life.

The lake is stocked with fish each year, and is a private and highly-acclaimed location for fishing. It's not uncommon to see a bald eagle catching fish too! Take a paddle out in the lake and you will see tons of wildlife, a peek-a-boo of Mount Rainier, or just listen to the sounds of water and sky. Guests are welcome to use the dock, boats and paddles - please have children wear supplied life jackets, and return equipment to its original location.

The house is on a steep hill; it's a ~2 minute walk on a dirt path from the parking area at street level to the guest suite's private entrance below.

The guest suite is on the first floor of the home, with direct access to the patio and hot tub. You will have the entire floor/guest suite to yourself, with private keypad entrance. Because it is on the first floor, please be aware that you may hear evidence of family living, such as footsteps and other noises above you.
