No ocean view, but the price and easy 3 min walk to the beach access were a fine trade off. Every room was spacious and clean (minimal number of tiny ants by the kitchen sink and stove top), frig was modern and new, house was well supplied and stocked.Appreciated the number of beach towels. There's an outside spigot to rinse off sand. The yard, drive, and landscaping needs some cleaning up-but didnt negatively impact our visit. We'd go back for sure and considering having a family reunion there.

Adequate Stay by a Beautiful Beach

We had a nice time during our vacation in Bonita Springs. The beach is beautiful & this home is a short walk to a beach access point. The home is spacious & was great for cooking / eating together, though cleaner & better quality cookware would make the kitchen even better. The couch and all of the beds need updating as they are not comfortable. The door to the primary bedroom doesn’t stay closed, which was frustrating during our 11 month old’s nap times. We felt that beach equipment was lacking; there was a small umbrella that did not stand up to the wind, so we purchased one. We also purchased a wagon to carry things to and from the beach. Having one available would be a great help to future guests. There were adequate beach chairs and a clean cooler which we appreciated. A grill would have also been great. During our stay there was construction happening in front of the home (and in many other areas nearby as the region is still recovering from past storms) but it was not overly troublesome, just something to keep in mind. The management company was courteous & provided clear directions for check-in & check-out, including instructions for requesting a 2 hour late check out for an additional 50. They also sent someone over promptly when we had a minor & easily resolved issue with the dishwasher. We had a nice time overall. Paying close attention to the details of guests’ experiences would make this a near perfect vacation rental.

Great value close to the beach

Second time we've stayed here. That should say a lot. I was disappointed that the door on the master bedroom was not fixed. I mentioned it in the last review. You have to lift up on the handle to get the latch to align. The refrigerator ice makers also did not work. Other than that, the stay was great, even with Helene plowing through. The house sits low, so if there is 1 ft of storm surge, it will reach the house. You will notice the large puddle in the road in front of the house fills and empties with the tide. I took a star off for the location due to the flooded road. You have to walk through it to get to the beach access.

Great location for beach goers

As far cleanliness, we felt some of the areas in the kitchen could be addressed. The ovens and pots and pans specifically. Bathrooms were clean as were other areas of the unit. Lots of space inside-our kids loved the loft as their own room to sleep in. If you are going to the beach it is a very quick walk across Bonita Beach Road, we walked in the wrong direction the first day but figured it out the second day. The road in front of the unit does hold rain water which we know is a city issue but it would be nice if they addressed it. After all the rain we have been getting there was a decent amount there. Overall enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Highly recommend.

Beach house

Our stay at this location was fantastic! We had family that rented a house on the same street. We were five houses from the beach-Literally just down the road and across the street. house is adorable with lots of living space and great privacy in the bedrooms. In addition to an upstairs loft that was not even mentioned which offered additional sleeping space. We really appreciated having some beach supplies available to us, especially a small beach tent. We only stayed a few days, but this will be perfect for a longer vacation lots of stairs, which is something to keep in mind.

Beautiful Location

The home is located in a fantastic location & the management company was phenomenal.... we had some difficulty with the smoke alarms going off continuously and the home has some differed maintenance issues but overall a great place to stay.....

Great place for a social family!

The house was great! It had a large open living area so you could feel together, even if you were in different "rooms" doing different things. The appliances were modern, including the washer and dryer. There were a few things that need to be fixed, but nothing major. Mostly little things like the light over the cooking range was out and the master bedroom door doesn't latch without lifting up on the knob. Stuff that is easy to fix. As I was cleaning for checkout, I accidentally broke the coffee pot, so it remains to be seen what that will cost me....... Overall, this was a great place to stay for my extended family and I would definitely stay here again.

Just steps to the ocean. The balcony gives you a glimpse of the ocean which I loved. There needs to be more outdoor seating. We luckily brought our own outdoor chairs from home. The house is very spacious and accommodating with all the amenities for the beach along with an umbrella and tent. We made cookies one of the first nights and the smoke alarm went off and continued to chirp for 5 more days. There is enough towels for everyone but bring some toilet paper. We really love Bonita Springs and everything around. ❤️

Great location but too strict with house rules and dirty!

I want to start by saying that the location was great, it was right across from the beach which was very convenient. On the other hand, the house seemed like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks, the floors were full of sand (which I had to vacuum off myself), the sheets did not smell freshly washed and some had stains, the beds were old and squeaky, etc. Overall the house seemed like it was falling apart, but had some “makeup” to make it rentable. The freezer broke while we were there and although the property manager was very responsive and brought us bags of ice, the technician that was promised to fix the issue never showed up during our stay. Another issue was the air conditioning, it’s a huge house and the air was constantly being set to 79 degrees Fahrenheit… it’s Florida in the summer and it’s HOT. We switched the air down and they kept switching it back up to 79 virtually, it was ridiculous with how hot it got in the house at that temperature, and frankly unacceptable to be constantly switching the air temperature as guests were at the house. They also had very strict house rules with the air temperature, stripping of bedsheets from beds, etc which made us feel like we were doing the housekeepers’ work. Overall, would NOT stay here again. The location was convenient and the house was spacious, just had a ton of issues and wasn’t as clean as we would’ve liked, we’ve stayed in better places in the same area with no issues like this.

Excellent location!!

Property inside was great. Nice kitchen area, living/dining rooms super spacious. But unfortunately the outside of the property was full of mosquitoes that literally we have to run to get into the car because the mosquitoes were attacking you. Just be prepared w/repellent, you will need it. But the main thing, we really enjoy our stay!!
