"Neighbourhood and neighbours were great. Felt secured. Great cooking gear and utensils, aircon only downstairs but that’s fine heaters were supplied. I think an upgrade with bedsheets would be great the sickest beds had fresh doona but queen I was sneezing a lot. Bathroom vent needs a clean .washer dryer- was a bit difficult to get clothes dry put thru dryer 4 hrs still wasn’t dry but the heated hanger was great ! Overall pretty good place- we’re repeating customers so we’re ok with it"

"A great place to stay. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was very comfortable and well maintained. There was one issue for us - the bed has a wooden frame and base which squeak loudly every time you move in the bed. We used ear plugs the second night. Overall though it was excellent and we would stay again. The owner was very friendly and helpful."

"Hard time checking in, the keypad was all scratched up and code not working. Good size rooms and spacious for family - shower pressure in the ensuite needs looking at. Neighbours are up late and loud "

"rooms were super comfy clean and i just can’t fault the property an what a bonus to have 3 toilets an2 showers the gas stove was the size that could handle a big group. An located only 5 minutes walking distance to Takanini town centre with it’s cafe bars and Restaurants plus a Silky otter Great stay thank you so much"

"Communication with the host was great and we really appreciated the early check-in. The house was as pictured - great for 2 or 3 people, but not really enough comfortable seating for more. Very handy to Manukau and a quiet neighbourhood. It's on the flight path but we weren't bothered by that. The beds we used were very comfortable, with extra bedding provided. The shower pressure isn't great but there was plenty of hot water. The main downside and the reason we didn't give 5 stars was the lack...

"Had a great couple of nights. Excellent wheelchair access, amazing sea view, friendly chickens, delicious free apples. Perfect spot if you're heading to Miranda to view shore birds."

"It was the perfect place, in the perfect area for our Convention. Great shops and variety of eating places, loved the ER Burger place...great burgers and crispy chips. Really lovely place to stay, a treat to be in a new place. Didn't mind the trains. Thanks for having us stay. Will stay again."
