"My family enjoyed our stay here. There were more rooms than our numbers and lots of bathrooms. It was also so clean. Communication was prompt and Michael (host) was kind enough to be flexible with our checkin/checkout time. We had everything we needed. Rice cooker, toaster, electric kettle, dishwasher, laundry washer and dryer and many more. I highly recommend this space. We will for sure book again if we ever have the chance to visit New Zealand again. "

"Our stay at this property had a mix of positives and disappointments. The house itself was spacious and well laid out, with plenty of room for our immediate family to spread out, but also gather around the table for shared meals. The beds were comfortable, which made for a good night's sleep.However, the outdoor areas let us down. The pool—which was a key reason we booked this place—was not in a usable condition. "We were a group of friends looking for a weekend out somewhere. This property is great and cosy. The outdoor area was amazing as well to hang out, and the beach is right in front of the house! The host was very helpful and responsive, will recommend this! "

"Retreat in Māngere was wonderful - the house is private, well equipped, beautifully decorated, warm and in a great location. Check in was smooth and flexible (we loved that it was just a self check in). We do prefer softer beds as a family but that is just our personal preference and I am pregnant so harder to sleep on firm beds. Overall we were very satisfied and would happily book this stay again, cheers. "

"We really enjoyed staying at this place. It was near the beach and a park so strolling around the area was great. The kitchen was well equipped, lots of room for the 8 of us. There were going to be 12 of us but one family backed out when the saw there was only 1 bathroom. There were actually 2, but one was in the master bedroom suite. "We enjoyed our first book-a-bach experience. it was easy to book on-line. The place was clean, tidy and like the photos. Rajan, the property manager, was very approachable, flexible- fitted in with our requests and really prompt in replying to us. A great first experience! "

"We visited the property to enjoy with family and friends. The only reason we’ve booked the property was pool and when we entered the property there was rubbish everywhere in the property. The pool was so dirty and not even working, The carpet was burnt and there was rubbish on the sofas. There was moldy chicken in the oven which was stinking."
