"Staff was great. Food was great. Property was great. Natural setting with birds and monkeys was really great. On a clear day you can see the top of Kilimanjaro as you have a gin and tonic on the veranda in the photo. Monkeys would be playing overhead as you were eating on a terrace overlooking a bird paradise. Horseback riding was great through the village and jungly terrain. Gift shop was great compared to others I saw in Tanzania and we spent loads there. Pool was great. Wonderful...

"This property is off the “beaten path” but well worth the trip and only 20-30 min outside of Arusha. The property was clean, reasonably priced, quiet, and very courteous staff members. I arrived late night (after 9pm) and staff was available and willing to prepare dinner. On a clear day you may catch a glimpse of both Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro side by side…..amazing! "Very nice cottage sitting near the river in Moshi area. The room is clean and tidy. The surrounding environment is great with lots of beautiful flowers and plants. You may see birds from the balcony. The keeper is very kind, greet us for late check-in after 11:00pm. Breakfast is in deliciously Tanzanian style, the keeper will explain everything for you about the food, culture, safari of Tanzania. Most importantly we wanna say is that the keeper call our guide instantly after we left the luggage...

"Ameg is beautifully landscaped. My room was spacious and well-appointed. The sidewalks were being re-done, which made walking in the muddy grass challenging for me. The staff repeated met me as I walked to the dining room to ensure I was safe. The food in the dining room was really good - I especially liked the lemon pepper chicken! I will stay at Ameg in any future visits to Moshi. "

"Pasamos unos días de descanso después del safari. Lugar tranquilo a las afueras de Moshi, necesitas taxi para ir a la cuidad pero con unos 4 dólares lo haces. Vistas al Killimanjaro. Una espaciosas zonas comunes con piscina. Los exteriores bastante bien cuidados pero a las habitaciones les vendría bien una reforma. En cualquier caso, si tuviese que hacerlo, volvería a alojarme ahi"

"The people that work at this hotel deserve 10 stars! Professional and very accommodating in every way imaginable. They make the property what it is. The restaurant food is delicious but a bit pricey for the area. If you’re staying in Moshi or intending to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, I definitely recommend staying here. Our favorite part about this hotel were the workers & the food! "

Rooms have not good ilumination, no TV, not even books or internet, I know that when you go to Africa you are going to do activities outside, however, yo do expect to have at least internet to contact your beloved ones to tell them you arrive. "My friend and I stayed here for two days and we were beyond disappointed. The hotel is very overpriced and the services and food provided are subpar. Food and drinks are priced quite high for the region and the quality was very unimpressive. The beds are very hard and uncomfortable and there is no AC in the room! It was very hard to sleep due to the high heat and humidity in the room at night. We have stayed in 3 other mid-budget hotels this trip and all of them had in room AC units. WiFi...
