Christmas in Bolton Landing
Our family booked the chalet for Christmas and the hosts had the place looking very festive which was lovely. The place was exactly what we were after. Mother nature didn’t give us a white Christmas but we loved our stay and Bolton Landing is a gorgeous town. We loved our stay.

Not long enough time
Best lake in the world with a gorgeous place to come home to after a day on the water. Patti is as good as they come when it comes to an owner/host. Everything you need to cook amazing meals, enjoyed with incredible views.

Awesome Lake George Get Away
Our stay at this Bolton Landing rental was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Patty, the owner, welcomed us with homemade blondies and wine, setting the tone for a fantastic vacation. The charming chalet offered beautiful lake views, and private dock for our rental boat. Patty's seamless check-in and warm hospitality made us feel at home. Being minutes away from Bolton Landing's shops and restaurants was a bonus after a day of fun on the lake. We're leaving with cherished memories and a strong desire to return. Patty's graciousness as a host made all the difference. Highly recommended!

Perfect Chalet
We had a great experience! Everything was perfect and exactly as advertised in VRBO. Communication was great from the beginning to the end. We would certainly book here again. We beat the summer rush of Lake George by a week or two. Couldn’t have planned it better. Light crowds, light traffic and perfect weather.

Perfect spot!
The house was absolutely beautiful. Pattie was extremely helpful and offered help with anything we might need during our stay. We loved the morning view while sipping on coffee and dinners on the deck. Having a dock was amazing as well as we spent most of our time on the lake. We will definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your home.

Quick Getaway
With the mid-summer weather in the forecast, we booked this cabin last minute for three nights for our family of four. Location was great. Close to hikes and we loved being by the lake. We were close to restaurants for dinner. Cabin is great — very clean and well stocked. Patti was communicative and helpful throughout our stay. It was a quiet, off season getaway!

Great cabin! Nice seculded area, comfy beds, pillow,sheets,couch and towels. Great water pressure. Fully stocked kitchen including spices and oils. Big fridge. Nice wood burning fireplace. Big TV. Beautiful outdoor deck with grill, partially covered. Quick responses. Exceptionally clean. Couldn't ask for much more except for winter to cooperate. Thank you for offering your cabin.

Perfect lake side getaway!
Everything from the house, surrounding property, location and hosts were perfect! Cozy lake side home with a private dock, hiking trails nearby and easy access to downtown. Patti was super communicative and accommodating throughout the entire stay, there was no detail overlooked. We would absolutely come back!

Check in was relatively easy other than they had workers on the property blocking the top of the driveway at another location they have that shares the road. House is NOT lakefront they have access to the lake front with a dock but you have to walk quite far or drive down which is not convenient and in my opinion a bit misleading when you advertise your home as lakefront, lakeview would be more accurate. The cherry on top is when I called Patti to let her know that I thought I smelled mold and that me and my daughter were having serious trouble with our asthma at the property, she assured me there was no mold and that she had allergies too yet there were 75 air freshners in the house so I am not sure how that doesn't bother her allergies. After stating we didn't think we could stay in the property due to the breathing trouble Patti assured us in writing by text message that a refund would be issued if we chose to leave early, I agreed to see if we could make it work and stay one more night. The next morning no improvements with the asthma so we informed Patti we would be leaving on day 2 of a 7 day stay, she assured me that a refund would be issued and even put in writing a week later that it was in the works before discontinuing all correspondence with me and never giving me my money back. Scam artists would be a step up, promise a refund, get me to leave the property and probably stay there themselves for the week I paid for, BEWARE STAYING HERE, basically stole 4 grand from me and my family.

This person is a scam artist. End of story. He is upset that he stayed in our home for almost a week and then lied and said we had issues to get a refund. He is of the worst kind. So sad . He lied and said he had ashma and was smoking parliaments in the house that we have found. VRBO investigators found that there was absolutely no merit to his story and he has done this to other people. It is such a shame that their are such con artists in the world. There is always a bad apple in every bunch and he is just upset that he was exposed. American Express even wrote a letter about his sketchy use of his card. He is a fraud. We have almost 100 five stars. This is our only bad one. Guests please don’t let this idiot con take away the absolute joy of our most special place.

Christmas Getaway
Enjoyable and Memorable Christmas Get Away My daughter's family and I were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at Patti's Chalet. The home was lovely offering every needed to enjoy our five day stay. It was an added bonus to be able to bring our two dogs. The wooded location was private and quite with a nice view of the lake and easily accessible to the town of Bolton Landing. We also had the pleasure of meeting and talking to our host Patti who had been staying at the lake. We all enjoyed our five day stay and look forward to coming back.

Amazing!
My wife, our five year old son and I stayed at Patti's place for four days in October and it was just spectacular. The home was lovely, the location quiet as anything. The delightful town of Bolton Landing is a 5-10 minute drive away and there is tons to do there. The best part of the house and location is that you'd never guess there was a town so close. We had a great time both at the home and in town and hope to return next year!

Guests please look at our other 100 reviews. Cliffside is magical. The home the setting and the lake front. All I can say is there is always a bad apple and Bif was all of that. Some people are just not happy. . Period. No house in the world can fix that. Best wishes Bif

Exceptional! Memorable family trip.
We loved the cabin and rambling walk through the woods to the lake/dock. We rented a boat and it was perfect to be able to dock at the house. NW Bay is beautiful and our best Lake George stay so far. We loved the cabin and memories made.

Beautiful chalet. Owners were extremely accommodating. Have stayed in a bunch of houses and this one was clean and owners very nice. Would love to stay again sometime. Wish we had more people like this who are pet friendly

Nice Views and Great for Boating
Just finished 4-night rental and overall had a nice time. The house was really cute and had a great view of the lake and a wonderful balcony with Adirondack chairs. It was nice that the house had a dock where we were able to keep our boat and swim off the dock. There was a canoe and kayak you could use as well as nice Adirondack chairs lakeside. Though we knew in advance, we could have used a washer and dryer; when spending a lot of time on the lake, a dryer for towels comes in very handy. We cooked breakfast there and some pans and kitchen utensils need to be replaced – minor things that would be an easy update. The outside grill on the deck was great. As far as sleeping arrangements, the twin over full bed bunk combo worked well for two of our party of 4, while the other 2 slept in the only other bed which was a queen upstairs. But with any more than 5 people, someone would not be sleeping in an actual bed. Not an issue for us this time, but worth noting. Regarding the walk down to the lake, it is a pleasant nature walk with some rock steps down to the lower parking area, and then a rock-based staircase to the water. We had no issues, however, it might be difficult for unstable walkers. Overall we had a great time. View was amazing. Loved having the boat so accessible.

We are on a septic system and that is the reason we do not have a washer and dryer as was discussed before you booked. In terms of accommodations our guests have never ever had an issue.

Fabulous getaway
Adam and Patti are fantastic hosts. The chalet was charming, roomy, clean and fully stocked with everything we may have needed. We enjoyed the privacy of the property and the boat dock. It was a fun filled week of playing in the water, roasting marshmallows and eating at a variety of great restaurants in town. This was one of the best vacations our family ever had.

Beautiful spot on the lake
Location of the house is terrific, just 20 mins north of Lake George Village and 5 minutes from the quaint town of Bolton Landing. House is equipped with everything you need. It was also one of the few places in the area that we could find that is pet-friendly so it was great to be able to bring our dog with us. The house doesn’t have laundry machines but Patti offered laundry service during the week if we needed it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Great Home
The home is beautiful and we had everything we needed. My only disappointment was the walk to the water. It's not a long walk however, I had 2 knee surgeries so the walk was a little treacherous. Also if you have young children you can't see them from the house. An adult would have to be with them at the lake. Other than that the home, the dock, the water and the views were great. Patricia was also quick to answer any questions I had. Overall fantastic home.

The walking path to the lake takes 2 minutes. If u have problems with ur knees why u did not drive down as we have an entire parking lot down there for such easy access. It was right in the housekeeping notes and could not be easier. We are glad you had a nice time.

Bolton landing lake house
We had a wonderful winter getaway to this beautiful lakeside retreat. The house was perfect for me and my husband and our adult son. The boys skied at Gore, we attended winter carnival and enjoyed walking on the frozen lake. The house was perfect. Great location, beautifully maintained home with all of the amenities.

Weekend Getaway
The views from the dining room and deck are breathtaking. There are two bedrooms, one downstairs with bunks, and one upstairs. We enjoyed the fireplace during our stay, and the wood was provided for us. The host was lovely to work with and answered any questions we had quickly. We really enjoyed the property and would come back again.

Slice of Heaven!
Patti and Adam are the most incredible and thoughtful hosts! They helped me surprise my husband for his birthday with some favorite sweet and fermented treats!! 😃 The chalet was wonderfully appointed with everything we could have ever needed, it was extremely clean and the view was spectacular!!! We were able to bring our fur babies who enjoyed the stay as well. The fireplace was everything and picture perfect!! Patti and Adam even made sure we had enough wood to burn for the big day - it was the greatest birthday weekend!!! We can’t wait to come back and are so grateful we have a place to escape and enjoy ❤️ PS - the Lakeview, the greenery, deck, and gorgeous red woodpecker were breathtaking!

Beautiful, relaxing getaway!
The chalet was just perfect for our Thanksgiving getaway. We arrived to a lovely bottle of wine, hot cocoa, marshmallows and treats for our pups. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There was wood waiting to be put on the fire. Not that we needed it with the amazing view and nature surrounding us, but the wifi was excellent when we wanted to stream some movies around the fire. We couldn't have been happier.

AMAZING VIEW OF THE LAKE AND GREAT LOCATION
This was our first trip to the Adirondacks and we were blown away from the beauty of the region. We went started in Letchworth State Park and up to Lake Placid where the fall foliage was at peak. We then spent 3 nights at this wonder place in Lake George. The views were amazing and Patti thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need and is very thoughtful of her guests. Special touches like, firewood to get you started, a bottle of lovely wine and amazing cupcakes. We loved that our 2 pups could join us and we just loved the Bolton Landing area. I highly recommend staying here! We were maybe a week or two out from full fall foliage, but the area was simply beautiful. We will be back and plan to spend a whole week here. Perfect family weekend
This property was perfect and listed exactly as is. We did a family weekend getaway with my parents and my husband and they were able to bring their sick dog who cannot be left at a kennel. This house had everything we needed plus all of the extras which made packing light and easy. The cupcakes and champagne when we checked in were a nice touch. We had a question while we were there and Patti replied instantly. Would definitely come stay here again, thank you!

We had a wonderful time at this amazing space! The location was private but close to Bolton landing which was a great town. The house was very well equip with everything we needed and loved that we could bring our Dog-aughter, Ginger! The lake and dock are beyond gorgeous. We loved it so much I almost don’t want to share and keep it our secret!

We had a wonderful family vacation in Thai amazing location with incredible views of the lake and mountains. The chalet was a wonderful spot and we loved coffee and dinners on the deck, lake access and fire pit . Docking our boat for the week there was great and being able to bring our dog was a huge plus since he loves swimming the most. Patti was great to deal with and the treats left upon our arrival were a nice touch. The fire pit was nice to have as well! Location perfect and peaceful/quiet while being very close to the town of Bolton Landing.
