Family get together
This home is so beautiful and it was the right place for our family getaway. Very clean and you feel at home as soon as you walked in the door. Kitchen was large and stocked with everything you would need and more. Lots of games and the pool table,ping pong table and foosball, was Soo fun. The owner Joyce was very good at communicating when we had any questions. We made some wonderful family memories. Would definitely stay again.

Great property and location
Great for summer, early fall visits, very close to lake George and grocery etc. The first floor could get cold in the winter as it did in fall (relative to the second floor). Having the private trail on the property is great for early mornings and the fire place in the backyard for evenings. The ping pong table and snooker were great especially on a rainy day. Would recommend to groups up to 15 people. The host was very prompt with our inquiries and offered to come by if needed to help out, good experience overall!

Great family vacation
This property is fantastic. It is all that the description says it is and more. We loved sitting on the deck looking out onto the beautiful property and the lake and mountains beyond. I have rented many houses and this house has one of the larger and well organized kitchens that I've seen. I was there with my grandkids

Perfect lake house
Everything was great - enough beds for everyone, multiple bathroom, plenty of blankets, kitchenware, etc. The fire pit was our favorite - spent hours out there - lots of s’mores and laughs!

Perfect home away from home!
If you are looking for a home away from home…this is it! No need to keep looking. The owner Joyce has thought of everything!!! The house was perfect! It was so clean and had plenty of room for our large family of 12. The house is beautiful!! The fire pit was the perfect spot for drinks, stories and s’mores. We thought the microwave was broke because it wouldn’t pop popcorn and she was there within a few hours to replace the microwave. Well…it was not broken. It was user error lol. She was so easy going and said there’s no problem with having a back up. How’s that for customer service? Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about this home and the owner Joyce! We can’t wait to come back and make more memories! Thank you Joyce!

Great property!
My wife and I made a last minute decision to attend a wedding reception in Bolton, and found this great house! There is a ton of room and things to keep your family entertained, but it’s close enough to town and great hiking trails that it’s easy to spend the whole day out and about. We plan to come back with family and fully utilize the property!

Great For Families of All Ages
We were a group of 14 and were there to celebrate my wife's 75th birthday. Our group included adults, teens and little ones. And as others have mentioned, this is a big and beautiful house that includes plenty of room as well as toys, games and activities for all. There are also 2 kid friendly beaches and some excellent restaurants just 5 or 6 minutes away. We especially liked the family room where the teens had a place of their own for relaxing and playing video games on the 40 inch TV with their Xbox connected. And we couldn't have asked for a better host. We had a few questions before and during our stay and we always received friendly, helpful and prompt replies. Thank you Joyce! We all had a great time and always felt at home in your wonderful house.

Mini family reunion
Well equipped house with plenty of space for 3 family with young kids. Plenty of space with all essentials. Towels not provided but the owner was clear on this from the time of booking. Joyce was very quick to respond to all my questions.

Great House!
Property was clean and in great shape. Plenty of room for the 3 families that stayed there. Really nice game room in the garage and a great fireplace upstairs. As a bonus you will see plenty of the owner’s (Joyce) paintings throughout the house! I would rent again.

Great mountain home
Joyce(owner) was excellent. She was there if we needed her. The house is amazing, clean, spacious enough for 14 adults and room to spare. The house had everything we needed. Bring your own bath and beach towels. They are not supplied. The grounds are great too. Hike in the woods are marked and the fire pit was awesome. Thank you for a great experience. We’ll be back.

A Terrific Family Vacation In Lake George
The entire family enjoyed this beautiful, setting and amenities that went along with the home! Either playing ping pong or kicking the soccer ball in the yard, everyone had a grand time. The hostess was outstanding and responded to any of our questions immediately. The home was well cared for and included everything you would need for meal preparation, etc. Very neat, clean and well furnished! Definitely a "Do Over!" E.B.

The photos on the app do not do this place justice. It was even better than we had expected. Perfect for families with young children and prefect for adults too. Anywhere you go on the property there’s enough seating for everyone. 10 minutes from the town of Bolton and the water. I would love to book this location again.

ANOTHER GREAT STAY IN BOLTON LANDING
THIS WAS OUR SECOND TIME STAYING ON JOYCE'S PROPERTY . AND IT WAS ANOTHER AMAZING STAY . THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY OF 11 . SO CLEAN AND VERY WELL STOCKED WITH EVERYTHING YOU CAN POSSIBLY NEED OR WANT . CHECK IN AND CHECK OUT PROCESS SO EASY . WE SPENT TIME IN THE GAME ROOM PLAYING POOL AND A LOT OF TIME ON THE SECOND FLOOR DECK MAKING MEMORIES WHILE ENJOYING THE GORGEOUS VIEW OF LAKE GEORGE . CANNOT SAY ENOUGH HOW BEAUTIFUL THE TOWN AND BEACH AT BOLTON LANDING ARE . WE ARE ALREADY TALKING ABOUT PLANS FOR NEXT SUMMER AND STAYING AT THE SAME PROPERTY IF JOYCE WILL HAVE US .

Big house, great for families!
We enjoyed a wonderful stay at Joyce’s property. There is more than enough room to host a large group and there’s plenty of amenities to occupy everyone. The only downside I’d say is the rental only came with one key. When hosting large groups, more than one key, or a keypad, would be easier. The only thing missing from this property to make it perfect would be a hot tub. The deck and the view with a hot tub would be amazing!

Hi Jennie, I was a little disappointed to get only 4 stars for lack of another key and no hot tub …. But I’m glad you enjoyed the house! Just to let you know, I have reasons for both… I have been renting the house for 20 years and after many times having people either loose all but one key and having to replace locks many times because of it , I finally decided that if I provided only one key people wouldn’t loose it ! it has worked for years. I think they find a good hiding place outside or in the garage and spread the word. … Also I’ve had a number of people who had trouble with a lock box… As far as a hot tub , we offer the jacuzzi with a view overlooking Lake George!… a beautiful huge photograph!! We feel it’s a lot cleaner and eliminates all the maintenance of a hot tub … Thanks for taking good care of the house. We would love to have you return! Thanks , Joyce

Bachelorette fun
We stayed here for a bachelorette weekend. The house was so spacious and had so much to offer. The outdoor games, fire pit, and game room provided a lot of entertainment. The only downside was being a 20 minute drive away from Lake George village. The house was perfect, and secluded! Would definitely recommend for other larger groups!

Perfect Lake George/ADK getaway!
The house was perfect for our friend’s getaway with 3 kids (2, 3, & 4 yo) and 5 adults. We wanted for nothing and spent the morning exploring the lake and surrounding area and then relaxed at the house post-naps in the afternoon and evening. The location was ideal; secluded enough for stunning views and quiet evenings to enjoy the sound of wildlife but just a few minutes from Bolton Landing full of restaurants and shops, including a well stocked grocery store. It was also just a short drive from either end of the lake; Lake George at the south end and Silver Bay at the north end. The house also had an abundance of games and activities for the kids (and adults), both indoors and outdoors. Boredom was not an option. It was lovely. Joyce made sure we had everything we needed; she even picked us up some cupcake tins for the kids’ joint birthday celebration. Communication was very easy and Joyce was very responsive. We highly recommend this house for anyone but especially for those traveling with young(er) kids, it’s the ideal family ADK retreat.

Great weekend stay
A group of us, 5 couples, stayed at the property for a 3 day weekend. We were up in Lake George for a wedding at the Sagamore Resort which was less than a 10min cab ride away, so super convenient. The host recommended we book our taxis in advance which was very helpful and all worked out perfectly with drop-offs and pick-ups between Fri and Sat. Check-in was to be at 3pm, but we arrived at 3:30 to find the host and cleaning crew still at the home. This was OK as they left promptly and we still had enough time to get ready for our 5pm pick-up. We were really only at the house to get ready for the wedding events, wish we could have spent more time lounging in the many outdoor spaces. We did enjoy sitting around the firepit Friday night, but you will need to bring your own firewood or purchase it locally. Thank you, Joyce!

Great Property - Accurately Described

Great time for all!
We were the for my girlfriend's surprise 40th birthday getaway with friend and family. The host was very accommodating with all of my deviousness to get a friend there before us to decorate in stock the fridge before we got there, and was extremely responsive with any messages I sent. The house was great, lots of room for our group of 12 adults. The property was very well maintained and had a great view and is extremely private. At night sitting on the deck the only noise were the crickets. Even with that privacy you're only 8 minutes from really great restaurants on the lake in Bolton Landing. I would highly recommend if you have a group of people looking for a getaway.

Amazing House!
The house is beautiful and very clean, with a lovely view of Lake George. It sits on a hill and feels very secluded and private. There are no bath towels or hand towels, so do recommend you bring your own! Our group had forgotten too, which was a bummer, and wish there was more of a reminder on that.

Family Gathering Place
We had a great stay at this Adirondack home for a mini second Christmas reunion with extended family. We had two different families staying with a total of 5 teenagers and the kids just loved the place! Pool, ping-pong, what could be better? The adults loved the cozy fireplace (bring your own wood) and the comfy chairs/sofa, big kitchen, and dining table for 10. The downstairs level of the house (with 4 bedrooms) was really cold at night, so that wasn't super comfortable, but the owners provided piles and piles of extra blankets. This would be a fantastic place in the summer with a huge deck and distant views of the lake!!

Hi Jessica, I’m so glad you had a good time and enjoyed the place. Maybe you didn’t notice but there are standing electric oil filled heaters in each of the downstairs bedrooms for those who like to sleep a bit warmer… or just turn up the thermostat upstairs. I’ll add that to the house information sheet so people will look in the closets for them. I’m sorry you didn’t find them. I hope you can come back in the summer! Amazing House in Bolton!
The home is amazing and the view is incredible. The house has plenty of room for sleeping and a great deck for socializing/relaxing. Also, all the amenities needed for a stay. Highly recommend a stay here!

Beautiful home in the woods filled with anything you would need from home including crib and kid beds. Multiple attractions within short drive. Plenty of hiking trails. The lake a short drive away. The only caution I have is not to forget the bug spray.

The pictures don’t do it justice!
What a great house and a great time had by all. Went up for a weekend and was blown away by the view of Lake George off the deck. Seating for 12 plus easily on the top deck. Fire pit out on the other side of the house was used the whole weekend and was a great touch to the house. One night it rained for a few hours so we played pool in the garage which was a great touch. Overall I can’t say anything bad except the pictures just don’t do it justice.

Lake George fishing trip
A bunch of Dads/uncles and their sons/nephews getting away for the annual fishing trip. Great location and a great house for that type of trip. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Everything was exactly as advertised.

Wonderful Winer Break
great winter break with my wife, 3 children, their spouses and 4 grandchildren. House was perfect. Interior was clean and very well maintained. Plenty of room for everyone to to enjoy themselves and a great kitchen for the boys to cook family meals every night. Will definitely return next year.
