Fun times in Bologna

Hidden Garden was everything we needed. Location was great for us to explore with ease all Bologna had to offer. It was quaint and equipped. The host was friendly and accessible for any questions we had. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful

Cool oasis in the summer heat. Great location. Roberto was helpful and gave great advice about the local sites and eateries. The apartment had every thing we needed, was clean and well maintained.We would definitely recommend to family and friends.

We appreciate the fact that our host was there to greet us and explain all the amenities. He even offered to call us a cab when we were leaving. He gave us a map and highlighted the many attractions as well as giving suggestions on restaurants and a gelato place. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The place was clean and the location was good. Downtown was easy walking distance.

Perfect for Couples

This place was perfect for me and my wife's Bologna vacation. There is a place for breakfast a few steps away, and a wine bar and gelatto also close by. It is an easy walk to the center of Bologna. Highly recommend!

Un petit bijou serti dans un écrin admirable. Le propriétaire est affable et courtois, le logis est en retrait du centre achalandé mais facilement atteignable à pied. Un endroit très tranquille, bien situé et adapté à un séjour prolongé. J’y ai passé six nuits paisibles et autant de journées bien remplies!

Beautiful Bologna!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great location and our host Roberto gave us great tips on things to see and places to eat! We fell in love with Bologna during our stay. We definitely want to come back. Beautiful courtyard garden area was the perfect atmosphere for us. Short walk to city center. We'll be back!!!

I felt well taken care of

This is a wonderful studio apartment for one person. Roberto has thought of everything. Whenever I was looking around for some thing, I then found it. The communication with Roberto was incredible even when he was in another country the first couple of days that I arrived. Unfortunately Was sick and as soon as he and his wife returned, they were so kind and helpful. It is very quiet location

Loved Bologna

Great Bachelor Suite

Great location within short stroll to all of the main attractions. Check in was excellent and Roberto was patiently waiting our arrival when we were delayed coming from the train station. Well equipped home with amazingly comfortable bed and pillows. We would stay here again

Zentrales Apartment mit allem was man braucht

Sehr netter Kontakt mit Roberto. Viele gute Informationen von ihm. Man merkt, er liebt seine Stadt! Die Wohnung ist gut, auch zu Fuß, von der Innenstadt zu erreichen. Check in und out problemlos. Kaffee, Tee und Grundzutaten fürs kochen sind vorhanden. Bequemes Bett, Bad ausreichend groß mit Waschmaschine.

Close to the attractions. Good communication with host. Very friendly. Builing itself was very dark at night. Definitely needed more lighting. I had to use my phone flashlight to get to my door. Not the fault of the host.

We were warmly welcomed on arrival. The studio is small and we had not appreciated that it is really a bed-sitting room. We visited in November and were cold in the studio in spite of the owner adjusting radiators. It is well-equipped but mugs & plates could do with being updated and replaced.

Die Kommunikation mit Roberto war von Anfang an nett und die Antworten auf meine Fragen kamen "sofort". Der Empfang war auch sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir haben gute Empfehlungen zur Besichtigung der Altstadt, Ristorante, Café/Bar und so weiter bekommen. Die Pasticceria für das italienische Frühstück ist fast nebenan - und sehr gut besucht - also Zeit mit bringen. Es lohnt sich aber. Der Supermarkt ist auch nicht weit entfernt und man bekommt alles was man so braucht. Für 2 Personen ist diese Wohnung sehr schön - auch wenn sie schon etwas dunkel war. Das ist Ende Oktober so und da wir aber sowieso immer unterwegs waren hat es uns nicht gestört. Die Wohnung ist ruhig, liegt sehr zentral und das Auto konnte auf dem öffentlichen Parkplatz gut stehen (pro Tag 12,- Euro), aber da die Wohnung in einer "Zona limitato" liegt, ist es sehr zu empfehlen (könnte sonst teuer werden) - die Wohnung ist auch von dort gut und schnell zu Fuß zu erreichen. Auch die Rückgabe der Schlüssel war kein Problem. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Aufenthalt und wir würden die Wohnung wieder mieten. Danke Roberto

Roberto's place is a great spot to visit Bologna. It's a stone's throw from the heart of the city and not far from a couple of key sites just outside the city. There are also many restaurants and shops a mere block away. The apartment is well equipped with a kitchen and although a studio it has a full-size bathroom, with a washer and its own hot water. There's also air conditioning. Roberto is a great host. The first night we were there he called a local restaurant and got us a reservation. Something I'm sure if we'd done on our own would not have resulted in a reservation 'that night'. Some notes; the garden in the complex that the apartment is in really isn't much to go on about. Probably a fine place for a smoke if you're a smoker but not really a spot to hang out in. The apartment is on the ground floor of a medium-sized apartment/condo complex, there are windows but no view. The complex is quiet and secure. We found it difficult to obtain a taxi near the property during what I'll call off hours; for instance on Sunday morning (9 a.m.) when we needed to get to the train we ended up having to walk to the center of town before we could get a taxi using the phone app. Otherwise during 'normal hours' we didn't have any trouble with getting a taxi right outside the door to the complex. We'd definitely visit again.

Beautiful Bologna

We really enjoyed our stay in Roberto’s Garden apartment. Set in a green oasis, it has all the facilities two people need - especially the kitchen for simple meals and a functional bathroom with large shower and good water pressure. Great to have a washing machine too! Apartment is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood with many dining options including the best gelataria and pasticceria shop only a few minutes walk away. It’s also only a ten minute walk to Piazza Maggiore and 20-25 min walk to main train station so very convenient. Roberto is a genial and thoughtful host, exemplified by the extensive information folder detailing from restaurant recommendations, local supermarket and instructions on the operation of all appliances. Would definitely recommend! *****
