"Simply WOW! It is a beautiful hotel….book ahead during the peak travel season to get on the guided tour. We did the self guided tour which was very good, but a great tour guide would have filled in little bits and pieces …..plus I think there’s a haunted walk component to it! "The hotel was spotless. Staff were friendly and very welcoming. The room was spacious, comfortable and with all we needed for our stay. We also ate in the restaurant for dinner which was delicious. A delicious breakfast each morning too. We won't hesitate to stay at the hotel again."

"Great find, extensive car park, very comfortable room with everything you need and a lovely touch was a decanter with a little sherry in for a pre dinner tipple. Food was good with an extensive menu and friendly helpful staff. All in all a great 2 night stay in this lovely hotel. Ideally situated for Eden project visit, would definitely recommend."

"If you need a cozy, out of the way retreat, this fits the bill nicely. For those not used to rural Cornwall roads, expect some stretches of single lane, NARROW road between hedges. Take it easy and enjoy the adventure! Kim and Tony are excellent hosts and will make every effort to make your stay comfortable. Kim’s breakfasts are great, and she does her best to adjust to guest preferences or needs."
