"We had such a beautiful stay here and have already recommended it to everyone we know. The spa/pool was a dream and everything was so peaceful. The restaurant was delicious aswell. The only 2 baby flaws I had was that there was some rubbish by the spa on our first day and it was still there the following morning (it had just blown down a bit). "Stayed at the Hermitage Lodge with 2 Adults and 2 Children. The stay was very pleasant and peaceful. Perfect for a recharge. Parking available right outside the unit and the continental breakfast was fair. Overall, a great stay and would come back again when I return to Hunter Valley. Do try the Italian restaurant onsite too, the food there was delicious."

"Nice spacious bedroom and lounge room with great view over the valley. Good quality kitchenette. Bathroom was a bit odd -toilet seat didn’t fit properly and the water for the shower was the wrong way round. Loved the location as we had things to do at Bimbadgen -500m walk."

"The property is idyllic in itself and surroundings. Sealed roads, easy access and local to amenities. The only thing we missed was aircon - it was a 35C weekend - but otherwise great location. Katrina was so lovely and helpful and we would definitely stay there again."

"Older style accomodation but really spacious and clean. Easy parking onsite and a really comfortable memory foam mattress. Great service from check-in to check-out. Always my go to stay in Cessnock. "

"Telephone disrupted our sraybevery day missing calls and unknown persons calling we gave to call Reception and disengage unit. Friday night and Saturday the noise coming from the restaurant till midnight make us impossible to rest and sleep , no wonder we found earplugs in room , we sincerely believe that we deserve a refund and an apology , the cleaning service was good but the above make our stay during Friday night and Saturday miserable "
