We had a great stay in this cozy, beautiful home. Good kitchen for cooking and socializing, cozy fireplace, great views! Basket of dog toys! Beautiful furnishings but I have to say the dining room chairs are super uncomfortable. Cute neighborhood good for walking the dog. Great store across the street for whatever you forgot or didn't know you needed (Diekmann's.) Really appreciated previous reviews that mentioned using Taylor Street to exit the neighborhood.Disappointing that there was construction across the street which meant two full days of listening to a generator. Seems like it's been going on for a while. Also an unpleasant standing water smell coming from the second bathroom/bedroom - hopefully management will take care of that, we did alert them.

The house is great for a few days stay, view is great, the location is near to stores and restaurants, house was very clean. The kitchen has everything but a microwave. The house is good for dogs and kids. Our dog was delighted with the dog toy bin. We stayed for more than a few days and during a severe storm so we couldn’t go out much. The few problems we encountered were: the furniture is uncomfortable, the dining room, bar stools and living room. This is the furniture restaurants and lounges use to keep people from staying too long. Loading and unloading is difficult as the parking area is tight between fence and house, you have to pull forward near street for both doors to open. It’s tight for a small SUV.

We loved the house and backyard. Very comfortable. When we left, I forgot my bag but, John, the local property manager got it shipped out to me the next day. I am expecting it tomorrow. I can’t stress enough how helpful and considerate he was. Thank you for making our stay on the coast so enjoyable!

Great property, less great property management co. Lovely location and nicely set up space. Unfortunately it took three follow-ups on our end with the property management co to finally swap out the non-working coffee maker for a working one on day three of the trip. Fenced back yard was great for our dog, but beware the skunk that seems to live there! Saw it multiple times in the nights so we were quite wary about letting our dog out in the evenings as dealing with a skunked dog would have been such a terrible thing in a vacation rental!

Bodega getaway

2nd time at this vrbo and it definitely did not disappoint. Check in easy, quiet walkable neighborhood and easy access to restaurants nearby. Check in has always been easy and the home was just as beautiful as we remembered it. Clean, has all the amenities, beautiful garden area and amazing views of the water. Kitchen is fully stocked and love that the home is dog friendly. Tastefully decorated and has everything needed for a few days of rest and relaxation. The convenience store is just around the corner if you forget anything and there’s plenty of seafood options off the main strip if you want to enjoy the food that bodega has to offer. Local flea market on Saturday and farmers market on Sundays. Will definitely return a third time. Thanks to the owner!

Gorgeous views of Bodega Bay from three large window in living areas. Missed having a microwave. Otherwise, kitchen well-equipped. Parking tight and felt like we were intruding on the dilapidated house in front. A bit of a trek bringing suitcases and supplies in from the back alley and into the backyard to the back of the house. Beds were comfortable and the houses was well-suited for our two children and two small dogs.

Great weekend getaway place

Great little place to stay for a weekend or a week. Great location off the harbor with big windows and scenic views…it’s the harbor, hwy 1 and then the cottage, but traffic noise was almost non existent. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking in and the living area was very cozy. The bedrooms were good size and the bathrooms roomy. Other things, good Wi-Fi, large tv and secluded outdoor seating

Girls Weekend

My cousin and I booked a girls weekend at the Bungalow for a little post-holiday relaxtation and to celebrate another semester of college classes completed. It was beyond wonderful. This house is breath taking, we were both in complete awe when we walked in. The view was stunning, we arrived later in the afternoon for check in, just in time to catch the beauty of the sunset on the Marina. The house presented very clean and welcoming, had all the amenities in the kitchen needed for cooking a variety of meals, super pet friendly, and the layout and functionality couldn't be more perfect. The location is a big plus too, it's very close to a varitey of shops, making shopping or grabbing odds and ends very convenient.We had such a blast, and this home made the experience so special. We both hope to stay here again in the future. Thank you for all the effort you've put into making this such a cozy and inviting space, the memeories we made here will be cherished for a lifetime.

Very Nice!

This is not a large house, but it feels very airy and roomy due to large windows overlooking the harbor and lots of light. The kitchen is well equipped with many pots , pans and utensils, as well as spices, oil and coffee. A big plus for me was the central heating which worked very well. Many of the homes that I've stayed at in the area, either had only a wall heater, portable heaters or a fireplace. Noise was not a factor even though the house overlooks highway 1. At bedtime there was zero noise, and it was extremely quiet. Thank you to a previous reviewer who suggested using Taylor street for entry and exit to the property as it was much easier than pulling out onto highway one from Kent on a curve, Had a great time.

What a view

The cottage is beautiful. Having two bedrooms with en-suite that were so well appointed was wonderful. The kitchen is large and has everything you need. And then there is the view out of huge panorama windows over Bodega Bay. Just stunning.

Family Getaway

What a cute home and garden! I found the listing was true to the description. The best part is the spectacular views of Bodega Bay! The backyard was a perfect hideaway to BBQ and hangout with our two dogs and two grandsons. The house is located within a short drive to all the popular beaches. There was a slight learning curve to working the house fans to keep the home cool during the warmer part of the day. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful property! no complaints

Had a great recent 3 day getaway at this property and enjoyed everything about it. The cottage was very CLEAN and had all the amenities. Very modern and very dog friendly! The kitchen was fully stocked, and the structure had great views of the water and love that the place had tons of natural light! great little neighborhood and walking distance to the grocery store which we appreciated. it was very easy to book this place and check in. the batteries on the door keyless entry were low but when i notified vacasa they were very quick to respond and changed it right away, so we had no issues at all. appreciated everything about this place and will consider it again in the near future. thanks for a great stay! no complaints here and would recommend 100% to friends.
