Absolutely Delightful!

My husband and I had a relaxing and restful stay in this charming cottage. It was well equipped with everything we needed, and the breathtaking views made it even more special. The bed was comfortable, and the linens were good quality. While the steps were a bit of a challenge for our aging joints, the comfort and scenery made them absolutely worthwhile. The property managers were attentive and helpful, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience. We would love to return

Wonderful commune with nature! Needs some maintenance on the railing and backdoor handle ((Allen wrench tightening) and water heater is too small for two people to each have a hot shower ( look into tankless heater which would fit in space).

Recharging station!

This small space was a perfect place for me to get a break from all the chaos of life. I was looking for quiet and secluded with a beautiful view which included a body of water. I saw no one while there (except the manager who came to fix the gas fireplace. He came quickly, fixed the issue and left. And was very nice too.) Easy to park and easy to get out----back on the road. I had no problem with the internet while there.

June Golf Trip

The cottage was small but so cute and comfortable. It was prefect for a short stay and the round of golf was little foggy this trip. The only concern we had was the many steps down to the cottage everything else was very nice

Great Place right on the water

While the place is on the small side, basically one room and a bathroom, it was perfect for us. Right on the water, which was great for wildlife viewing and sunsets. The kitchen doesn't have a stove, but we got by just fine with the microwave and toaster. A nice relaxing stay.

Slice of heaven

Can’t say enough about how restful and refreshing my “retreat” here was. Was treated to a range of blue skies and smooth seas to thick fog and choppy waves. Excellent for birdwatching. The little gas fireplace/stove is powerful and kept us toasty warm. The foghorn takes a little getting used to; I stopped noticing it after a couple of days. There’s a good little store just up the road that has surprisingly good coffee. I’ll definitely come back!

Charming getway on the bay (well, harbor)

This tiny studio is right on the water, 50 steps (watch the treacherous 29th step on your way down) off of, and I mean right off of, highway 1 is the perfect place to explore Bodega Bay from. Waking up to misty mornings, with flocks of Buffleheads, Coots, Grebes, and Loons out the west-facing windows will tempt you to spend the whole day there. Don't give in! From the hikes across the harbor on Bodega Head, to the scenic driving up and down the coast, to the wine county a scant 20 minutes east, you couldn't ask for a more perfect base of operations. Three things to be mindful of: the door to the balcony does take a little finesse, the water heater is on the smaller side (we're in a drought, so you probably shouldn't be taking long showers anyhow), and a couple of the rivets holding down the transition strips like to snag at socks. Otherwise, the little furnace does a yeomans job, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the furnishings are tasteful.

Decent Place

Place is decent. However TV didn't work during our entire stay. Doors were really hard to lock. Furniture is out dated. The view is amazing as place is right on the water.

Great little studio right on the water! Updated and very clean. The only reason for a 4 rather than a 5 was the 50 steps to get down and the back up. But it was disclosed so no surprise. But we would stay there again!

Nice Bay Side View

There may only be 50 ACTUAL "steps" down to the cottage but it's closer to 75-85 steps (about 3-4 floors) to get to the cottage. Plan accordingly to avoid heavy loads since I was definitely winded after offloading and reloading our the luggage to parking. I definitely will plan this on my next venture. Otherwise, a very beautiful and relaxing environment.

I came to Bodega Bay to celebrate my 60th Birthday and boy did I pick the right place. Right on the water, hardly any traffic noise, and the views were great. Aside from not being in shape to handle the 50plus steps up and down, I would return. Thank you again!

We were happily surprised to find this place. It's right downtown and right on the water. The pictures are accurate. It is a studio but just right for two.
