We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at the Bayview house. The house was nicely decorated, clean, very well stocked and organized. The kitchen is a dream for the cooks in our group, and everything was in good working order. The setting and home made for a lovely stay. There are clear instructions for everything, so there there wasn’t much of a need to reach out, but even when we did need something, it was easy to get direction from the host. The host is very thoughtful. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We stayed Christmas week and feel so blessed to have found this property. Absolutely everything you could need was available. We had plans to barbecue ribeyes for our first dinner but it was pouring rain so the outside barbecue wasn’t an option. We didn’t want to bake or pan fry them. Lo and behold we found a George Forman grill in the cupboard. Dinner was saved. That was how it was the whole stay. Every time we needed something, we found what we needed. This included when the power went out for a short time. Electric lanterns and flashlights were in the laundry room. The house was super comfortable and beautiful. It is across the street from a little coffee shop and a Mexican food restaurant. It’s not very often you find a house with a fenced yard in Bodega Bay and it was great for our dog. The hot tub was nice and clean. Instructions for everything were available but Janice was also very quick to respond to a text when I had a question. The whole house was very clean and comfortable. We loved every minute and would definitely stay again.

Wonderful property and very well maintaned and decorated. Perfect for a relaxing vacation and the host is great to work with. This was our second stay and we've never had an issue. Great fenced back yard if you bring your dogs. Very comfortable and stocked. Nice view.

Bodega escape

This home has it all! It is clear the owners have lovingly maintained their home. We felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. We enjoyed the proximity to the beaches and small market and stores. There are a lot of nooks to enjoy some solitude. We especially enjoyed the sunroom with a view of the bay. Great communication with Janice. We would stay again!

Breathtaking View of the Bay

The Bay View House has been a fantastic place to stay. The house itself was beautiful and spacious, the perfect place to unwind and relax in, with a phenomenal TV to watch stuff on, and perfectly working utilities and amenities. The backyard was also wonderful, with wide open spaces and a great hot tub to soak in after a busy day. The crowning jewel of this place, however, was the beautiful view of the bay itself, surrounded by an abundance of trees and the cool ocean breeze, the perfect place to find tranquility and peace. Overall, a fantastic place to stay while visiting the coast.

Beautiful, cozy house

From the moment we walked in, we could see that the owner took great care to make their home comfortable for guests. It was in a great part of Bodega Bay and easy to get anywhere you wanted to go. There is a hiking trail right out the door. I’m so glad I found this house. I hope to be back one day.

Perfect Getaway Spot!

Our stay at this beautiful vacation rental in Bodega Bay was nothing short of incredible! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views of the bay and the peaceful surroundings. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. We especially loved relaxing in the cozy sunroom with the view of the bay.The kitchen was fully stocked, making it easy to cook meals, but we also enjoyed exploring the local restaurants and fresh seafood nearby. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we woke up rested and ready to explore. We spent our days walking along the beach, visiting the local shops, and hiking the nearby trails. The hot tub overlooking the bay was the perfect way to unwind in the evenings.The host was fantastic—responsive, thoughtful, and provided great recommendations for things to do in the area. It’s clear they put a lot of care into making this a welcoming and relaxing space.We didn’t want to leave and are already planning our next trip back. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views and all the comforts of home, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Bay View Home--This is a keeper!!!

I hesitate to rave too much since it will make it harder to rebook!!! This home has every amenity you can think of and is heaven on earth for those of us who would never leave our four legged pal behind... hot tub, fenced back yard with beautiful trex deck, ample places to enjoy beautiful weather and view of harbor. A short walk to the Bodega Bells Memorial. 5 minute drive to Doran Beach. Private circular drive. Every utensil, pan, plate and bowl you can think of!! Complimentary popcorn! Wine! Heated towel racks. Heated mattress pads. Even a skunk attack cleaning kit!!! The host was so kind and patient with our questions and responded immediately. So happy to have found this well- appointed home!!

Wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!

The house had everything we needed to enjoy a family Thanksgiving away from home. The kitchen was very well stocked, clean and spacious. We spent a lot of time watching football on the excellent big screen television and enjoying the enclosed backyard with our son’s dog. The location was convenient to the town and quiet at night. Thanks to Janice for everything.

I was concerned about the limits on visitors and spoke to Janice who allowed it. The house is lovely and well appointed. Only missing balsamic vinegar but lots of olive oil and tons of spices. Could use a water filtration system (even a brita). The fence appeared tighter than it was and my dog got out.Delighted to find a tea pot!

Charming home

We loved our stay here! The house is charming, comfortable, and has great decor. The first night we came back from dinner to find glowing electric candles throughout the house that had come on when it got dark, which was magical. The hot tub was awesome, especially when it was foggy outside or after a long walk at Doran Beach. It was great to be able to have our dog with us, and we could just walk out the door to the community center and trail. Lovely spot!

My family had a wonderful time staying here for a weekend getaway. Janice was always available for questions and even was accommodating to moving dates with no fees due to a bad storm during our original plans. The house was clean and fully furnished with everything we needed and more. Would go back again.

I love this house!

There are thousands of great things to say about this place so I will start with the most important. The owner/hostess truly cares and is so helpful, thoughtful and quick to respond. She has carefully put together a booklet for staying here which I recommend you read immediately upon arrival. It will save you countless questions and wondering how things work, she really has thought of everything. The bedrooms are beautiful the beds very comfortable. The bathrooms have everything you could need and so does the kitchen which is super well stocked including spices, coffee, tea, popcorn, so much more. I love the fireplace and the couch is cushy and supportive at the same time. There is tons of seating both inside and out so you can relax no matter the weather. I spent most of my awake time in the naturally heated sun porch or the hot tub. The views are phenomenal and the neighborhood quiet and tree filled. My dogs loved the fully fenced grass yard while I appreciated that the yard is sloped so even during an "atmospheric river" storm, no puddles or mud at all! I just piled some of my own dog towels on the sun porch floor and let them dry their paws before coming in, so easy. The driveway/parking area also had no mud or puddles (packed gravel,) is more than big enough for two and is circular so you don't have to back out. I was blessed to have been able to stay for 10 days so utilized the very efficient washer and dryer. We spent morning at the beach letting the dogs sniff.
