The view was really beautiful from the master bedroom and dining table. We enjoyed the large gathering area, the shower and pool table in the man cave, and the quiet neighborhood. Otherwise, we were very disappointed with most of the house. It really needs a thorough cleaning (especially the mold), updating, and repairs in lots of areas. There was a lot of clutter and stuff piled in the closets of the small bedrooms, pantry, and cabinets in the kitchen. The light switch in smallest bedroom needs fixing. There should be mirrors in all the bedrooms, especially with many sharing the bathroom. The kitchen cabinets are in really bad condition. The exterior is probably in the most need of repair in the whole housing area. We wondered if the owner ever even goes to the house and sees the condition it is in. We did enjoy our time together as we live in three different cities and met there for some vacation time. We only want to be honest about the house so it will make it more enjoyable for others.

The place was clean, and in a very nice neighborhood.It was about 8 minute walk to the beach.Every thing worked, but many things were older (pots, pans, utensils, hot tub, BBQ, etc.There really are only 3 bedrooms in the main house.They are bigger sized, but two of them share a bathroom.The man-cave cannot be accessed from inside the house and our one teenager did not feel comfortable sleeping there separated away from everyone.The pool table is full size, in good shape, but only had one pool cue, plus a short one needed because of lack of room for some shots.While we were there, the ice maker would sometimes make a loud noise and needed to be shut off to get the noise to stop. Which is annoying in the middle of the night.Don’t get me wrong, we enjoyed our stay.But I have stayed at other places that were much better taken care of. Still, this worked out ok for us and everyone had a good time.

The most spectacular weather out at Bodega Bay for this special family get together! We enjoyed the relaxed family centered vibe of this home. Having great soaks at night under the Milky Way and lots of laughs playing pool. Sports on the big TVs and enjoying the accessible beach from a nearby path. There were some musical folks so the piano and guitar were a special touch. Not to mention the old school video game table. The host was very nice too. Everyone had a great time! Beautiful sunsets and blue ocean views made coffee time so cozy in the am. And some of us enjoyed the golf course with views galore!

The property was great. It was ready and clean when we arrived. The view was just beautiful and the home was so roomy, with 8 of us in the house, we never felt crowded. Everyone had a great time, plenty of showers and hot water for all of us to shower and get ready for the wedding we were attending. Some played the video games, some enjoyed the hot tub. There was a slight issue with the TV and we were able to get an answer from Jonathan right away and it was simply pushing a reset button.Now, here is a little above and beyond. My sister-in-law realized she had lost a very sentimental gift from her mother, a diamond bracelet. I texted Jonathan and asked that the cleaning crew be on the look out as my sister-in-law was devastated. Just two days later, the bracelet was located. It has gotten buried in the bed linens and was found by the cleaning staff who were as excited as my sister-in-law was that it was found. Honestly like that is hard to find these days and we all so appreciate everyone for being on the look out and getting it back to us.We definitely will stay again.Thank you AllThe Walters, Yeagers and Crespos

Celebrating my mother's 85th birthday. It was a great location to dine and gather. Hikes, soaks, cards, rest and lots of cooking! Wonderful beach walks and oyster roast! We did a Hawaiian Luau night and had fun. More trash bags, cleaning supplies and a house guide sheet for garbage removal would have been helpful.

Post Yosemite wedding relaxication

The location of this property in the bodega Bay Area is awesome. The property could use a good spring cleaning and a facelift on decks, fences and gates. Could also use some silicone on sliding door runners. We would definitely recommend this property if the stated updates were done.

Nice Getaway!

We enjoyed our stay. The ocean views were gorgeous. It was fun to walk to the nearby bar for a cocktail. Kids had fun with the arcade game. There was enough space in the living room and kitchen for everyone to gather.We would stay here again.

Yes, the ocean view was fantastic. Several steep stairs to get into the house. There wasn't a home guide at the house and we had to reach out to the owner to get the guide send electronically. We enjoyed the hot tub. That said, not sure how the house could sleep 12; there are only three bedrooms - a pull out couch in the sunroom and the man cave should not be considered bedrooms. While some aspects of the house are being updated; other areas are in need of repair/updating (the ice maker; kitchen cabinets; outside deck; front deck chairs). Despite this, we had a wonderful time being together.

Never will I stay at a house that has back to back rental. So the house was not cleaned to save money. House definitely needs TLC.

This is a 3 bedroom house!!!!!

Imagine the embarrassment when you arrive to discover that in spite of the listing being a 4.5 bedroom, it is only a 3! There is a non insulated area with a futon and the rec room had a couch that was too short to sleep on. I think this is what they consider the other 1.5. So we utilized 2 inflatable mattresses that deflated during the night.The host was super communicative. I do wish there was an instruction binder as a previous reviewer mentioned.The location was amazing.Very well stocked house, Man cave was a fun addition.
