Simply the best place to stay in all of Bocas

Everything about this property is top notch (the home is gorgeous, the grounds are immaculate, the owners are delightful and easy to work with, etc). We had a marvelous time and would gladly return. Btw- kayaks are available/easily accessible and the owners recommendations for boat captain, massage therapist and bike rental were all on point.

Beautiful Villa with pool and private beach area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Paraiso! The location was perfect with the pool and beach right outside our door. We stayed for 10 relaxing days. We were just a short taxi ride to Bocas town and a short walk to Scully’s and CIAO pizza. The hosts went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable too! Hope we can visit again sometime. Thanks so much!

Amazing stay in bocas at villa wiona

This is by far the best place to stay in Bocas. The villa is amazing, the beach out front is great for swimming and kayaking, and it’s the best location on the island. The pool was awesome and the place was all ours! You have 5 restaurants within walking distance and town is a quick ride away. We loved renting an atv to ride through the jungle and get into town. The town is very safe and the the villa was so relaxing and beautiful. Angie set up a boat tour for us which was great for snorkeling. Everything was made so simple for us which made it very relaxing. If I make it back to bocas this is definitely the only place I would stay! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Paradise in Bocas

This property was exactly as posted. Graft location, close enough to town for trips in, but far enough out to be quiet and private. The hosts were very kind and helpful. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants a little more upscale experience in Bocas. It was a delightful location to be at. Angie and Steve were fantastic.

The property was beautiful, but it rains from April to December. There was not a washer or dryer as advertised. It would get done for $5 a load. There was no kayak as advertised. There were 2 Stand up paddle boards but upon asking to use the answer was no. There was a 5 gal drinking water container but it only had 2 1/2 gallons in it. The next one cost $8. We bought our own at the store. Need wheels to get around, we rented a golf cart $585. Elec & Wi-Fi was out for a whole day.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful property with wonderful owners. We didn't do much other than relax while we were there and this was the perfect place for that. Enjoyed riding the bikes around and having our own pool and beach to hang out at. Would definitely recommend this property!

Retirement research

We spent 4-5 nights with Villa Parasio and had a great time. It was quiet and we had the beach and pool to ourselves. I was able to scuba dive a few times with Panama Dive School. Getting around is easy using the taxis - both car and water are only a couple bucks per person. The unit was clean and had the necessities. Owners are on site and very helpful! Great property as advertised!

Perfect location superb getaway!

Well even though our trip was cut short due to corona virus! We made the best of it at villa parasails up! The property had everything we needed! We were able to prepare delicious meals using gril and kitchenette Had privacy when needed! The sunrises were spectacular! The pool refreshing! The swimming beach just steps away! Connor and Reese were excellent hosts as was shots the dog and trouble the cat! That was a big bonus!!!!! Used no the bikes and kayaks was a great bonus! We will be back to this gem of a place! Everything you see is everything you get! We shopped at super gourmet for our food supplies and Lauren the owner was wonderful! Had everything we needed and top quality at that! and then some!!!!! Love bOcas!

Super Clean Property with Great Hosts in a Great Location

I did not know the Bocas Del Toro area before I made this booking. I lucked out. I really liked the location. Just far enough from the action in town to be quite an isolated but close enough to bike into town, to the water taxi's, or up to Bluff Beach. The pool is very clean the temperature was perfect. We used it every day. The apartment was very clean and very functional. The apartment was well equipt but if you need a full kitchen and plan to prepare your meals there, which we had no intention of doing, you might find the kitchenette less than ideal. but if you just want some drinks and snacks in the fridge and the means of making some coffee and a simple breakfast in the morning it is perfect. Angie was an amazing host. We got total privacy, yet when we needed info or help she was a quick text away. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect location

Wow! We just spent a week on the most beautiful secluded beach. And, our house was so peaceful and private. We enjoyed lazy days lounging by the pool and swimming at the beach. The house was very comfortable with a memory foam mattress and nice finishes. Plenty of clean towels were provided for both the house and pool. When you read other properties descriptions that say you don’t need a/c in Bocas don’t believe them! We were very grateful to have it. Our hosts Angie and Steve were so kind. I arrived with a terrible cough and Angie was so sweet to provide a local remedy. We also had a wonderful welcome basket of fresh eggs, coffee and other goodies to get us started for the week. She also baked us some fresh brownies too! Our kitchenette was sufficient for the week, we had all the essentials. Part of Bocas charm is eating all the fantastic restaurants. We could not have been in a better location on the island. When we wanted to go into town it was a cheap quick ride in a taxi, which run up and down the main street all day and night. We also took the provided bikes for rides. We recommend cycling to Skullys bar, less then 3 miles away. It’s situated on a beautiful beach. Also, Ciao Pizza across the street from Skullys. Where we had some of the best pizza ever! Whenever we needed our hosts they immediately responded and were more then happy to help. We would highly recommend this property, we were so sad to leave.

Panama Paradise

Angie, Steve, and Connor are an absolute dream! Villa Paraiso was our home away from home for a week in Bocas del Toro. Using this as our home base, we had a blast on our 4x4 ATV, doing a jungle exploration, seeing monkeys and sloths, and enjoying lunch on our own private secluded beach. While in the area we also enjoyed local sights like the Zapatillas, Starfish Beach and Starfish Island, Dolphin Bay, and ziplining at Red Frog Beach. Angie was a dream to work with. Personal touches included a personalized welcome basket on check-in, coordinating a private chef for our special evening, and visits from the family pets. We barely knew Angie and Steve were upstairs! If you are looking for a reasonably priced getaway in Bocas del Toro, look no further!

Pure Bliss

We love this place! Best review I can give is we were here 4 years ago and loved it so much, we came back to Villa Paraiso because it’s that wonderful. It’s out of town enough to be peaceful but close enough to go visit town easily on one of the bikes or rent an ATV which is what we did. Bocas is cool and funky with great restaurants...go on a boat taxi and experience the magic of Bocas.

Two weeks in Paradise

We’ve just left this island paradise, after 2 weeks at this beautiful oasis, and I cannot think of another place or holiday where we felt more welcomed. Angie and Steve and their family have thought of every convenience you could wish for, and if you needed something, they went out of their way to provide it. They generously gave of their time, helping us set up tours, giving us information, recommending restaurants and activities. They answered ALL of our questions...and we had a lot. The little personal touches were the best, home baked papaya bread, fresh eggs for your first breakfast, fresh fruit and coffee for our first morning. We were thrilled when we received a fresh baked brownie cake as a treat one afternoon during our stay. Angie should consider selling her sweets, they were delicious. The unit offered total privacy, with access to the beautiful beach, and the glorious private pool (as we were not built for the heat lol). The suite had everything you needed to stay in, (TV with access to net-flicks, and WiFi) and they offered bicycles so that you had the freedom to get around so easily if you wanted to go out. There were kayaks for our use as well. They are located close enough to the town that it was a short bike ride, and even a nice walk, but far enough away that you enjoy peace and quiet. Laundry service was offered three times for $5 a load during our 2 week stay, which was an absolute lifesaver. Our holiday was exciting and tranquil at the same time, we could not have asked for better hosts, or a better location. They made us feel like family, and I would return and stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely Perfect!!!

For us this was the best place to stay in Bocas, it was peaceful and quiet! Our private pool was great for cooling off and just a couple of steps down to the beach and ocean! The Villa itself is very comfortable and had all that we needed. Angie and Steve, the owners were amazing and took care of all we needed. The pictures on this site are exactly as it is, beautiful and comfortable. It was a short taxi ride to town, cost from $1.50 to $2.00 depending on where you are going. They also have bikes available to ride to town or the grocery stores. We had an amazing and relaxed two weeks and would certainly recommend this property!

Great location... not too far from town and surf breaks!

Great location in Bocas. The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. Steve was very friendly upon on arrival and Angie as well. Steve told us about the amenities and how to get around the island. Hot water is limited for showers and hand washing...just an awareness for those that like long hot showers. There was a lot of privacy this just a few friendly encounters with their sons. Thank you! Bocas we'll be back!

I’m back to my exclusive villa on the ocean:

I have returned to the beautiful Villa Wiona. Stayed for a month this time. So extraordinary! This is a place I just love to wake up to each day; the ocean, birdlife, an exquisite scent of the flora, private walks on the beach, and dips in my private pool. It never disappoints. A wonderful holiday! I included my extended family for one week, they stayed at ‘la casitas’ on the same property (family of four - children 8 and 11). It was a perfect setup. It gave us lots of time together each day, but also gave each of us private time. Special moments: dinners with my family at my large dinning table; ping pong with the kids; watching a synchronized swimming show choreographed and performed by the kids; private snorkeling tours; seeing the kids discover a sloth, multicoloured starfish, and finding a large pod of dolphins.
