"My husband and I needed a relaxing weekend and we had not seen some friends in awhile. They suggested to meet at the Mckenzie River and find a place to rent where we can cook, play board games, and just catch up! We found this cabin and it exceeded our expectations. We were near the river and can hear the relaxing stream. The cabin was fully equipped with games, all the kitchen cooking items you need to make a meal, and was super clean. "Very comfortable home right on the lovely waters of the Mackenzie River. Everything was as advertised or better. Comfortable beds, livingroom chairs, and well equipped kitchen which sometimes presented a "can you find me" challenge!" Both open deck and screened porch were great options to enjoy the river while reading, chatting, or playing a board game. Great active outdoor options too (e.g., hiking) nearby (be sure to hike the falls portion of the Mackenzie River Trail, about 30 minutes away)....

"I am a lifelong Oregonian and yet I haven't really spent much time exploring the Mckenzie River area. This cabin was in a great location, right on the river and so close to hot springs and beautiful hiking. It was quiet, quaint, and had all the kitchen supplies we needed to eat at the cabin. The screened in porch was a dream, so nice to drink our coffee and read in the morning. It felt pretty private even though there were other cabins on the premises. We really enjoyed our stay."
